Best steaks east of Yellowstone!! We will be back. Margaritas were great! Service was incredible!

Stayed in Cody for two weeks and stumbled upon Cassie's on our very last night. I WISH we had found it sooner, as Cassie's was by far the best restaurant we went to during our whole trip. After chatting to our server, we learned that the new owners bought the restaurant summer of 2022 and have been working diligently to restore it with tons of iconic Wyoming-style decor. They apparently even have plans to be featured in a hit food network series! We came here on a Friday night to hear live music and enjoy and awesome meal. The grilled cajun chicken sandwich was delicious and the burger was great as well. Pro tip: ask for the burger blackened! That's how the owner always orders his and it's insanely good! Overall, Cassie's is the spot to hang out in Cody, WY. Perfect for listening to live music, playing pool, having a cold beer, or eating great food!

Longest running hen party in Cody. The hostess and staff stood behind me the entire time we were there. Their chatting was pretty distracting. We were told to come in early because there was a 15-top coming in at 5:00 pm and the kitchen would be overloaded. "They only have so many burners" Food was only so-so. We went for a nice steak dinner but after seeing wait staff just hanging around we decided to reduce our expectations to a couple of burgers. The sweet potato fries were overloaded with sugar. Really glad we didn't order the $60 steak! Asked for a glass of wine and they were out. Will not be back.

They need to update their website with proper hours- came in at 9:30pm after the college rodeo and claimed their kitchen was closed.

Like others, we love a good steak! This place was recommended by our river rafting crew. Our family party of 8 adults and one child arrived at 4 pm yesterday. The restaurant appeared totally empty except for arriving staff. Daniel was our server and was friendly and attentive. The 20 oz ribeye medium-rare was delicious!! We shared it! It comes with the loaded baked potato and green beans. I ordered a side salad with ranch and Bleu cheese on the side. It consisted of fresh greens--not iceberg lettuce. Fresh and delicious. Dressings were as ordered. The decor- theme of the restaurant, dance floor and bar is beautiful Western cowboy, mountain-cabin wood and log with walls covered by paintings and eclectic art. Reason for 3 stars was the lack of welcome by the hostess and the instructions to "order fast before other large groups arrive." My Response to Courtney,--the business owner: Your negative response to 3/5 stars rating necessitates my response. BUSINESS OWNER: YOU ARE INCORRECT!! "The rafting company DID NOT state MAKE A RESERVATION FIRST!! Furthermore, this family is not the first to give your establishment "a negative review" as evidenced by another Yelper in the past two weeks. How about you WELCOME tourists instead of deflecting them by your negative responses! I wish you a wonderful happy day, because apparently you most assuredly need a dose of Wyoming sunshine! I have enjoyed everywhere else we have visited and toured here in Cody and the rest of Wyoming!

Bison ribeye was delicious and tender!

Delicious Bison ribeye! This establishment has a unique history that I found fascinating. Great food, great service, not far from the rodeo.

This place was great! The ribeye steak was really good. Our server was great and was working so hard!! We were lucky enough to end up here on a night they were having live music and the band was Great. We were there 3 hours and it was just a great experience. Check it out if you're around Cody!

A friend suggested we stop here for their prime rib. I ordered the biggest one they had (42-46 ounces and sans fat trimmings); got the horseradish too. Both very excellent! Of course, I couldn't finish it and brought 2/3s of it back home with me. It was just as tasty reheated the next day. I'm glad I asked for extra au jus for the leftovers. The au jus deserves some praise too; not too salty, yet packed with flavor. The place itself is more of a dive bar than restaurant (live music being offered too). Draft beer was cold. Staff very personable and attentive. Would definitely go back for the prime rib and the kitschy ambience...

Tatrice was a great server. FOOD: Filet mignon was phenomenal. Shrimp scampi was one of the best I've ever had. Ribs are "fall-off-the-bone" - super tasty. Halibut with stuffed crab - OMG - was out of this world. Their calamari - done perfectly: light, crispy, and was eaten in seconds! Should've gotten 2 plates of it! This place overall checks ALL the boxes - this restaurant has put "Cody" on the map for me. I anxiously look forward to coming back to Cody because of this place!

Drinks are still awesome, service is still amazing, but gosh did the prices go up from last year. 40% or more, unfortunately, we took a couple that isn't rolling in cash and we felt super bad. We decided to pay for all of us, since we all got hit by sticker shock. I totally understand inflation, the need to pay better wages, if this would have gone up 10-20% I'd understand, but that's big city prices. I unfortunately have to call it out, otherwise, people with a smaller budget hoping to get nice value again might be stuck with a much larger bill than anticipated -like us. Steak dinners are still great here, service is still amazing... but not sure if we would come back again.

The place buzzes with lots of great energy the moment you pull up to it! And the staff are super friendly and helpful! We got tickets for dinner and show. The dinner is a Chuck wagon style all you can buffet brisket, chicken, and lots of sides! Brisket and chicken were TENDER and moist! SO GOOD! Mac & cheese was my favorite side dish. There was also salad, beans, and cornbread. Lemonade and iced tea was included (I made myself an Arnie Palmer). Free refills! And there were brownies and ice cream for dessert! Food was served hot and fast! I can't say enough how friendly the staff were! The show featured the Triple C band!!! And THEY WERE AMAZING! I enjoy country music but I'm not a die-heart fan and even I enjoyed every song they played! And they were hilarious and really gave the audience a great show!! After each member was introduced they would play a song that highlighted that band member's talent and boy - THEY WERE INCREDIBLY TALENTED! they had us on our feet dancing and rocking! It was super fun! And they were also on time! I came on my first night in town so I was tired... they started on time and they finished on time! So I felt like they really respected my time and my energy! Will definitely recommend to others!

We finally had to flag someone down to take our order. By that point, our son was starving, so we decided to order just one meal to see if the service would improve. He ordered the "Lobstah Roll" with a side of butter. What arrived was more like a cold seafood salad on a roll, along with a side of cold butter. Had he known that's what it was, he definitely wouldn't have ordered it. We weren't expecting an authentic Maine lobster roll, but if you're going to spell it "Lobstah," there are certain expectations--and this wasn't close. At some point, our original server seemed to realize she had forgotten about us, but the service never recovered. No one checked on us, offered refills, or asked if we wanted anything else. When we were ready to leave, we literally had to hold our credit card up to get someone's attention so we could pay and get out of there. Ironically, the moment we left, two employees immediately appeared to clear the table. The funny thing is that we saw other tables receiving great service throughout our visit. Maybe we were just unlucky, but based on our experience, I'd avoid sitting where we sat. Good luck to the next guests assigned that table.

Off season, Irma hotel and buffet are very slow but the food is definitely better than busy season (when tourists show up for yellow stone). Highly recommend the clam chowder. I know Wyoming isn't really famous for any of that but their clam chowder is very good. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, the bison ribs, and the buffalo sandwich/burger. If you don't like heavy meats, stay away from bison ribs cuz it's super heavily seasoned to cover bison's distinctive gaminess. Also it's not as tender as you want it to be. The regular burger and the steak were pretty good from Irma. It's quite consistent. Surprisingly, the fries were very good. Especially the onion rings. Give it a try, for meat lovers, this place might be a pleasant surprise. But if you are looking for more delicate presentation and more distinctive tastes, I will recommend you some other spots around town in my other reviews. Enjoy the wilderness and nature ~
