I found this place on Yelp, and I was craving a burger that wasn't from a fast food chain. This place seems like a local favorite. Service was friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. I think this is a family-run establishment. I ordered my meal to go, and they gave me my drink and invited me to sit down and wait. I had checked out the menu beforehand, and I selected the Garbage Burger with fries. My food was ready quickly and delivered with a smile and friendly chat. This was a delicious burger! A thick beef patty was covered with onions, mushrooms, bacon, and melted American cheese. It also come with lettuce, tomato and thousand island dressing. The patty was huge and nicely seasoned with salt and pepper. The onions, mushrooms, bacon and cheese all melded deliciously together. The bun was sturdy and had been nicely toasted. The thousand island dressing added another layer of richness to this burger. Wow! A messy, but awesome burger! The fries were good, a nice side and had some good seasoning in the breading. They do offer delivery however it is a family-run business and they don't always have someone to do the delivery. So be prepared to order and pick it up,but well worth it if you have to pick it up. It's called a restaurant, but it reminds me more of a cafe bordering on diner, but without the counter seating. With an expansive menu and a busy take-out business, this place deserves attention. The people traffic in and out even during my limited time was astounding. I think that's a good sign. It was a good sign based on my first time experience. My sandwich, the special that day, was probably the best Rueben I've had in quite a long time. The bread was toasty, the meat and kraut nicely balanced and there was not so much sauce as to make it soggy. I don't know what the chef did, but I still have fond memories of the sandwich. When I commented on it to my server, I was told the cook was her son, so maybe this is a family place. There isn't a lot of seating here, but it's a fun place to wait for a table. I would have given five stars if it wasn't for the fact that they don't care enough to have at least one non-dairy milk option for coffee. Not a huge deal to most people unless you actually have a dairy allergy. Pretty simple really. Keep one carton of oat milk or coconut milk in the cooler. It is 2026 after all. Also, no sourdough toast. Only White, wheat or a muffin. Too bad I can't leave a 0 star rating. Upon arrival we were seated, and we sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat. We finally got coffee and menus , and we sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat. After sitting for 30 minutes with only coffee and menus in-hand, we left. I didn't come to Cody to waste half a day trying to get breakfast. So damn good we ate there 2 mornings in a row whle visiting Cody. Thanks to Yelp reviewers we decided to try it out. The first morning, before we headed to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West (which is one of the best museums of any kind), we arrived just after closing for breakfast. We begged and pleaded and were granted a booth for late breakfast. Don't arrive late! We then enjoyed a great breakfast of omelets, cakes, and some fine coffee. Can't imagine a much better way to start the day. The next morn we arrived before closing and were warmly greeted and treated to another fine repast before our long drive to Butte. Visiting Yellowstone and we wanted burgers on our way back into Cody. Found the Yelp rating and stopped in for takeout just a few minutes before closing. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating despite the hour, talking with us about our experience in the park and suggesting what else we might want to make time to see. The two Ultimate Burgers were the best we've had on our trip across four states thus far, measuring almost 5 inches in height and piled with onion rigs and avocado with a dill spear on the side. Hands down amazing. Too bad we don't live in Cody, this would be one of our go-to places. The first night my husband had the Ultimate burger and I had the Alicia burger. Our daughters had the shrimp basket and chicken tenders basket. I had dreams of this Alicia burger. I've never had a burger with chicken on top. I was totally surprised at how good it was! The next night I got the Alicia burger again, my husband got the meat lovers pizza and had them add jalapeños. One daughter got the Hot Mama burger and the other got the shrimp basket again. The food is reasonably priced. The only negative I can find is that the soda's were $3.00 each, which I thought was a bit pricey. If you are in the area try this you will love it! read more

The menu is crazy broad for such a small place. Good for guets but I feel sorry for the cooks and servers. Our server was very nice and the patrons were obviously loocal. A clerk at the sporting goods store recommended the place = particularly the Pizza. Pizza was adequate - not a masterpiece but a decent pizza that hit the stop.
