Unless you're looking to clear your bowels, DO NOT GO HERE, If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered sweet tea, a Dr Pepper, chicken Alfredo (requested crispy chicken, not grilled), a Philly cheesesteak pizza, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo wings. The only item that was even somewhat edible was the mozzarella sticks, which appeared to be straight from mass-produced packaging. The sweet tea was not sweet at all, despite being told it was. There was a noticeable chip in the glass of the Dr Pepper, and pieces were falling into the drink when it was set down. The bread served with the Alfredo tasted stale. While the noodles were cooked, the sauce was clumped together and completely lacked flavor. On top of that, the Alfredo came out with grilled chicken instead of crispy, and no one mentioned the change. The wings were extremely soggy, and the cheese on the pizza tasted artificial. Service was also very disappointing. When we arrived, everyone at the front counter was on their phones. We waited over 20 minutes between our appetizer and our main course. When the server brought us to-go boxes, she did not bring the check. We waited about 10 minutes for the check to be dropped off, and then another 10 minutes for her to return and pick it up--even though she passed our table multiple times. The check was sitting at the edge of the table with a card clearly visible, and we were close to going to the front counter to pay ourselves. We are both feeling sick afterward. This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality of food and level of service. We gave it one last chance after a previous visit, but the experience has only declined. We used to love Millstone before the change in ownership, but since the new owners took over, the quality has gone downhill while prices have increased. If we hadn't felt bad for our server for having to work at this establishment already, we would've sent the food back. I do not recommend dining here. Even chain pizza places like Domino's or Pizza Hut offer better quality, and for genuinely good pizza, Legend Pizza & Co. just down the road is better priced with excellent food. read more

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find that they just started running lunch specials. A big piece of pizza and French fries for $5. Chicken Caesar salad or a Thai chicken wrap with fries $9.99. It's a good deal. The food was pretty good. The Bloody Mary's were good. Had to ask for a beer back since they don't do those in Wyoming. Greeted by a lovely, long, dark-haired young lady. Was very helpful when she seated me. Thereafter; sadly, it was subpar service and food at best. Our waitress never introduced herself. We had to ask her if she was our waitress and her name. Other than bringing the meal and our bill, the only time we saw her was when we flagged her down for something that we needed. Two other wait staff were more helpful than "O" who was assigned to our section. Staff might benefit from education on menu items, because most questions that we did have, they weren't able to answer. Thankfully, without hesitation, they did go find the answers for us. The pizza was a HUGE disappointment. Menu said fresh,roma tomatoes. As it turns out, they were unripe, pale, bland, basic tomatoes. Not romas. It ruined the pizza along with the overly heavy-handed amount of cheese. When I asked if they were Romas, the server said she didn't know, and that she didn't even know what a roma was. There was a new dessert menu item which she could neither describe, nor knew its name. Apparently "O's" shift ended after she dropped off the bill; never asking if there was anything else that we needed, or if that we would like dessert. She did not let us know she was leaving; and that somebody else would be taking care of us. Young lady in the sling, came over and asked if we needed anything else. She was helpful, yet not super friendly. On the way out, I asked the shorter, young lady with the long, blondish hair that was at the front counter if this was a locally owned business and she responded, "I don't know." I said, "oh?" This is definitely a family place - big arcade with loads of fun loud games you can see and hear from most of the restaurant. Service was good, beer/wine selection fair. It's pretty bad when a business' main dish, pizza in this case, is disgusting. If they can't get this right I wouldn't dare try any other food items. I spent $40 on a small pepperoni pizza and medium margherita only to be hugely disappointed! The margherita had an overwhelming amount of cheese that you couldn't taste anything else, had a couple bites and threw the whole thing in the trash. The small pepperoni was edible but nothing impressive. Will definitely not go back! I suggest you save your money as well! I had higher expectations and was very disappointed! read more

Last stop after a delightful day of sightseeing. LUNCH!! My sweetie and I decided to try Millstone. We were seated immediately, after a very long walk to the VERY back of the restaurant, close to the back exit. Hmmm... When the waitress brought us our tea, we told her we weren't quite ready to order. She said she would check back in a little while. So, there we sat. We talked and talked and talked, then talked some more. Notice the 'Hmmm' above? NO waitress. Where ever could she be hiding? My sweetie finally got up to find her, just as another waitress stopped by our table to find out what was going on. Apparently the 1st waitress didn't know we were her 'party of 2' (Hmmm), so the new waitress kindly took our order and promised a very quick delivery of food. She was right on the money, as my Chicken Sub, and sidekicks Roast Beef Sub quickly appeared on our table, along with piping hot, burn the roof of your mouth fries. The subs were delicious and quite unique as they were made with pizza dough. A first for either of us. And, as we are beginning to find out, each meal was way to large to eat at once. So we both took home 1/2 the order for dinner later. FTR: No one checked on us for a good 30 to 40 minutes. It was as though we simply didn't exist. No ranch for the jalepenos, no mayo or ketchup on the burger, no ranch for the onion rings, and they tried to not give the soda (I caught that one before I left). When I called, they offered to replace the food (after much grief and pointing fingers to their "computer system", and I was satisfied (as we had no sauce for anything so it all went to waste) Today (week later) called to get the "replacement" I was.promised. Talked to four different people. The final, the "assistant manager" said they would give me a small discount. She said it is the consumers job to remind the restaurant about drinks because they do not print on the ticket (no, I said that can be fixed, she said it can't be fixed. I beg to differ, it's an easy system settings adjustment). She also said that she was discounting only for the missing condiments, not the food itself, even though the onion rings had no dip, burger had NO sauce whatsoever (I tried, took a bite, it was like cardboard) and my daughter didn't want her jalepenos without ranch. I won't leave a bad review unless I'm appalled, and this meets the criteria. I do not recommend any of my Powell neighbors spend their hard earned money at millstone. The mistakes are beyond fast food, and the accountability much below fast food (which I didn't think possible, but this assistant manager proved me wrong), I'm shocked at this service and regard for customers. I used to really love this place. It has gone WAY down hill though. The food is only sometimes good. Sometimes the food is burnt. The waitstaff barely checks on you at all, I think they checked on us once the whole time and is wasnt very busy. All of the arcade games are broken and steal your money. The prizes are way over priced. Everything about this place is over priced yet they don't take care of anything in the restaurant. Everything is run down and horrible. I went to dinner with my parents and kids this evening. This place is NOT practicing social distancing with seating. They are sitting people in booths right behind another booth with people in it. According to the manager I spoke with, he said that the people that make the decisions say that the high backs of the booth good enough. I had to ask to be moved and when other employees tried to sit people in the booths on both sides of us I had to ask that they didn't do that. Also my dad asked for no mustard on his pastrami sandwich but it came with it. The waitress apologized and took it back to the kitchen. FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER it get delivered. I let the waitress know that I didn't not like the burger she said sorry and brought the bill without offering any solution. Easily some of the worst food in Park County. Save yourself some money and some sanity, as well as your stomach lining and avoid this place like the Black Plague. As for why: the pizza has sauce that makes Pizza Hut's look gourmet, and it is piled on so much you'll wish for a quick death by hands of Heinz. Yes, it's so bad you'll rather have the sauce consist of ketchup. The chicken alfredo-God bless the poor chicken who was slaughtered for it- tasted like it was created for inside of a freeze-dried meal packet for astronauts rather than the plate it sat on for thirty minutes, sandwiched between two over-saturated pieces of bread cut from the crusty ass of the clearly intoxicated chef who made it. No one in their right mind would have looked at the solidified sauce drenched over store-bought spaghetti noodles and said to themselves, "yes, what a fine dish!". Anyway, save yourself from voluntary torture and eat at Pizza Hut or Dominoes instead, because at least there they will check on you at least once every five minutes. read more

Millstone is good on the right days. Not very consistent with the food and the wait time. Servers are always very nice and caring, but unfortunately with the lack of experience with the kitchen staff (highschool kids) the food is either really good or really bad. The service we received here was pretty good. The waiter was lively, and checked on us when we needed him. What was not as good was almost everything else. To start, the food was a MESS. The barbecue wings were disappointing to say the least, the pizza tasted and looked like it came out of a box, and the fries tasted like little gold strips of cardboard. On top of the mediocre at best food, the wait was super long. Came with a very large group after my father's funeral. The seating was such that we were split into a few groups but that didn't stop the awesome waitresses from keeping everything straight and glasses full. I was at the end of the largest table and my soda was kept full and my needs were met. All of our food came out at the same time and it was all hot. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries while some of the others at my table ordered pizza which took a little longer to cook but they brought it all out hot! The fries are SO delicious! I have never had fries that tasted the same anywhere else. They are almost airy and crunchy. Yum! If I am ever up that way again I will certainly seek it out. There is also a fairly large arcade. Unfortunate experience... we are originally from out of state so we are always looking for new restaurants to try and this looked like a great place to get some food. But for us it was a not a good experience. The food was greasy and had no flavor. The meatball sandwich was not good it was like they took giant flavorless meatballs with basic red sauce with no flavor.. the cheese on it was not even close to fresh tasting. And the pizza that was just... well I'll say domanios has better pizza. The ceaser salad had hot chicken on it, and took forever to get which tasted like it had boiled flavorless chicken. Must have been sitting under a hot lamp or something. The only thing that was worth anything was the ranch tasted good but I'm sure that was probably just out of a giant jug. Best pizza I have had in Wyoming bar none. I came here from California 5 years ago and unlike natives of Wyoming I actually know what food tastes like. Anyone that says this pizza is prefab has no clue. There is no grease on the cheese which means that they're using a great quality of cheese. The food gets maybe 3 stars, mostly due to inconsistency. The hamburgers are good some days, dry and not so good other days. I'm not really a pizza person, but the pizza was just ok, nothing different than what you can get for less at a chain pizza joint. I tried the pastrami sandwich, the meat itself was fabulous! but the bread is a pizza crust, it was so tough, i just ate the meat. It would be delightful if it were on a roll of some sort. The staff, well out of the 6 or 7 times I have eaten there, the staff is less than friendly. No personality, and the man, I think is the manager, he is far from friendly. He always seems bothered by customers. May just be how he is, but he needs not be in a customer driven business. But the fries I would give a 5 star if I was only judging the fries, but this is overall experience. But I keep going back in hopes that I will hit it on a good burger day.
