My family has eaten here 3 times now. Every time has been extremely good. The outside of the building is easy to see. Parking can get muddy. But they do there best. But the art work is in there food. If I am being honest, it pained me a bit to write this less than stellar review. I was so excited to eat at this establishment, but the female owner's attitude, encounters with our group, and service was absolutely atrocious. We were in Worland for a basketball tournament. We were a large group (20-25 in total). I called to make a reservation and was told Stogie Joe's was a first come first serve establishment. When we very first got there I went to the front and asked if we could sit anywhere or if we needed to be seated. I again stated we were a group of 20-25 and want to just do what was easiest for the people working there. I was told that there were no reservations, it was first come first serve and we could sit anywhere. Our group funneled in and started sitting down. I was pretty excited that there was enough seats. The owner came to our table and asked how many people in our party. I was trying to get a final count as we were all scattering to sit down in different groups. She asked again, I answered and she said are all these people on the same ticket. When I replied no, she yelled then those people aren't in your group. Then threw some menus down at the boy's table. One of the mom's said she was rude and she came back seething and said that we couldn't expect to come into a small business without a reservation and be waited on. Then gathered up the menus and took them up front and slammed them down on the front counter and kept yelling, but this time at her husband. We left and went to another restaurant where we were greeted with smiles and taken care of. The whole experience makes me sad, confused and really disappointed. We won't be back, ever. read more

We ordered breakfast on the "recommended" Slice app. When I went to pick it up, the girl asked if I was picking up the Slice order- yes I replied. She never asked if I just wanted the biscuits and gravy with no side? For $13 I would hope I was getting more than 2 biscuits.. I did not look in the container to make sure the order was correct.. The menu says "served with hash browns and choice of meat" got home and no meat, no hash browns. All we got was 2 open faced biscuits with gravy. I called and the person said - "we're having issues with the Slice app and you need to choose on the app for special instructions." WTF does that mean?? The menu reads "served with hash browns and Side of choice of meat. If they are having "issues" with the app- solution- use another one or get rid of it! If you continue to use the "faulty" app- solution- call or text to verify order. It's called Costumer service.. when I called the person asked if I wanted to come back and get the meat and hash browns?? NO! I wasn't about to go back to town and get what I paid for.. when I said "no" she didn't offer to take the order off of my ticket either. Piss poor costumer service- don't blame the app. Do better. We would like to go somewhere else but, unfortunately in Worland, our choices are limited. We would like to keep using local businesses, but it's difficult when the quality of food and costumer service is less than desirable.. Next time, we'll drive to Ten Sleep or Thermopolis. read more

I was in Worland for a month for work. Stogie Joe's was walking distance from my hotel (Days Inn). I had the Stogie Joe's Cheeseburger which was great. Very tender and the patty included cheese curds and jalapeños. They also serve pizza cooked in a wood fired oven, which I will definitely try before I leave. Many beers on tap as well. I'm always nervous coming into a new town and finding a restaurant. The top rated yelp restaurants were already closed, so I chose this restaurant. Even though it only had three reviews at the time. Boy am I glad I did! This place was excellent. My stomach immediately knew I was in a good place, when I walked in and could smell the deliciousness coming off of the BBQ in the back and the wood fire pit in the kitchen area. The server was fantastic. I ordered the Blanco pizza and might have a very tough time ordering anything else the next time I am in town. The pizzas are incredible price for their size. I thought I was getting a small or medium for the price, but the pizza was the size of a typical large in most towns. Quality of food has declined significantly. Burger tasted freezer burnt, returned after confirmation it wasn't just me. They took a whole 1.80 off our bill for a 12$ burger. We paid 30+ dollars for a club sandwich(it was actually good) and two draft beers. It will definitely be our last time to this establishment. 5 chances is more than I would give anyone, however living in a small town our choices are limited. Unexpected surprise! Passing through this little town realized it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and we had not eaten. Used our Yelp App, found this place. Very clean. Not your typical bar. More of a family restaurant with a little bar on the side! The list of desserts is endless! They serve breakfast all day long and have brick oven pizza! We chose The hamburger which is 1/2 pound! They have a wood fire oven for making pizzas, make their own dough and the pizza was delicious. Beers are served in cold glasses which i appreciate. They also have a full bar. Absolutely not, will not go to this establishment again. After being open for three years I finally took my family there, wanting to support a local restaurant. The wait staff took forever to deliver each item one at a time from drinks to dinner. And when asked how some thing was made, the response was 'it already comes prepackaged from Sysco.' And that's exactly how the food tasted prepackaged frozen food. My hamburger was cooked to hockey puck status and was in edible, And when asked for mayonnaise and mustard I got Sysco mayonnaise packets. I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

Great place to eat. Pizza crust is homemade as is sauce. On business trip and have eat here 6 times in last few week. Have been with large group half that time and think we have pretty much between group tried everything on menu. Have not heard one complaint on anything.
