Probably the best burger i've had for the money in a long time. It's an enormous amount of impeccable quality meat, for less than $15... a triple would be difficult to stomach all of! The sourdough buns are also something of legend, all coming together with heaps of sautéed onion to make a masterpiece. A rush was just wrapping up when I came in to order, but from a clean slate 2 double burgers and the fry bread took them less than 10 minutes to whip up, and the (astoundingly only) 2 employees running the show were friendly and efficient. Any time we're back in ten sleep, this'll be on our list! read more

Absolutely loved this place! Great food, great service. I travel with dogs and it was dog friendly. My dog loved the burger and tallow fries just as much as I did. The owners strive on healthy living, organic food and farms/regenerative farming...it's a way of life/not a fad and they want to share that with everyone! We approve read more

We had a great burger and experience at 1 Cow. The fryer was down but Josh and Ryan hooked us up with fresh fried potato medallions on the grill with tallow. They seasoned them - it was money! Burgers were amazing. They really wanted to make our experience special. Thanks to the crew at 1 cow! read more

Love this place and have stopped here many times while on my travels, came thru yellowstone while thinking of that burger all day, so i had to order 2, unfortunately my burgers were under cook, way under cooked, while waiting for my food i noticed the place was a disaster, out of special sauce in the pump and the squirt bottle was so crusty i had to clean it before use, the counter was cover in spilled condiments, i know the place gets busy but when i arrived i was the only one there and the employees were jus sitting behind the counter, anyway i do like this place, have eaten there many times, usually the 2 gals that ran it in the past were awesome, not sure what happened but this trip was a huge disappointment read more

1 Cow - Please visit the "Farmacy", love it! - Burgers Near Me - Ten Sleep, Wyoming

We are traveling with pets so decided to go through the advertised drive through. We were not given a menu. With food few and far between, we decided to get two burgers. The meat tasted odd and the burger had no sauce or toppings aside lettuce and tomato. We spent $45 for two burgers with bacon and two sodas that were syrupy and flat. This did not include fries, as the frier was down. I wished we had passed up this stop all together. The gentlemen who took our order was very nice!!! read more

1 Cow - Triple patty burger. - Burgers Near Me - Ten Sleep, Wyoming

Ten Sleep is the most surprising little town. This new shop isn't the exception. On the corner of second and Fir street, this shop appears to even have a drive through. Although I don't know everything they serve, burgers and burritos and coffee seem to be the primary menu items. I was told they have been opened less than a month, so I believe as they get settled, it's possible the menu will expand. The breakfast burrito, one size and one kind, is made fresh, although I think they normally may have some pre-made, has beans, eggs, and french fries instead of hash-browns. That was an interesting alternate, but since burgers are the other menu item, using fries is a practical choice. There are sauces available to spice up the burrito because it is served plain. They are heavy and filling and good. The coffee choices are those expected. There's a cooler for cold bottled drinks, although on the day I was there, it was hot outside and that cooler was almost empty. It was also very busy with food orders and I was impressed with how quickly they moved the food out. That's the advantage of a limited menu. It took a little more time for coffee, but the grill had a couple of people working, and there was only one person making the coffee and one on the register. Starting small with a limited menu is not a bad idea. I like this unexpected place. The outdoor seating is also a nice feature -- at least on a not-so-hot day read more

This place was the perfect stop on our way across Wyoming. It had one of the best burgers I have eaten. The burger itself was juicy and flavorful. The relish ( which I wasn't sure about) was the perfect compliment to the beef and the bun really held it all together while having a perfect chewy consistency. The fries were outstanding and this place is just a must stop if you are anywhere close. read more

very good burger, relish was very good, the secret sauce was different, but delicious! the fries were good, ended up putting salt and i think kinders smokey mesquite seasonings on them. 2 cheeseburgers, one tea, one water, one fries = ~30$ read more

This place should be called one awesome cow. The team who runs the place care deeply about serving the customers and community. They serve delicious grass fed beef burgers and tallow fried french fries, but some of the other things that make it great: 1. Friendly service 2. Specialty sauces and cookies 3. Grass fed beef available to buy and at awesome prices 4. Delicious soda options 5. Coffee drinks, best around 6. Just awesome service and people to talk to. We spent a week in Hyattville and someone from our group ate here at least four days in a row. Service with a really big smile. read more

This place was a nice surprise on our way back from Yellowstone to Denver. The menu is limited but they make the Burgers and fries to perfection. Would definitely recommend. Pet friendly and they sell local Beef, also what they source their hamburger meat from. We will be back! read more

1 Cow - Fries & Root Beer - Burgers Near Me - Ten Sleep, Wyoming

A super interesting little and new eating establishment. The breakfast burrito was filled with delicious ingredients but could have used a few more...perhaps bacon and more cheeses. The tortilla itself was rather thick and tough. Perhaps that was a consequence of being wrapped in foil and placed in an electric roaster. Quick, easy service should not have trumped a better tortilla. The staff, cashier and cook were very friendly and helpful. The fries LOOKED delicious, but they weren't on MY breakfast menu. The building and the surrounding property are fresh and imaginative. I hear that morning coffee outside is GREAT. Certainly worth a visit or two or three. read more

I must have came in on an odd day... The beef patty itself was delicious. The cheeseburger concoction was average at best. Add bad fries (very soggy/undercooked) and a salty gal taking our order with no service on top of it all . Both of my kids made a comment comparing it to gas station cheeseburgers (perhaps a bit harsh of a review). If this place had good cooks (and ditched that awful secret sauce) and had a non salty redhead lady providing zero service along with some attitude, I think this place would do well! read more

My first pasture to plate experience! One cow is owned and operated by a local ranch, providing the ultimate farm to table experience.. For foodie purists this has to be the most and clean way to consume beef . You can see the cows eating on the hills as you drive into town, nothing artificial, no factory farming, no cross contamination (hence the 1 cow). Oh! And the burgers are delicious! The fries are rendered in beef tallow ghahhhhh so good. I think they just opened last weekend but it looks like it's going to sell steaks, burgers and bone broth to take home. I'm just passing through and I can't believe the luck of finding this little read more

Wow! Great fresh food; the tallow fries were crispy and delicious with their homemade ranch dip. We pulled in right before they closed and they were happy to serve us, and even offer a sample of their new menu item; popsicles! Small town hospitality. Fresh homemade food. read more

If you find yourself in Tensleep, you need to do yourself a favor and stop by 1 Cow. This honestly could be the best burger I have ever had. The little restaurant/shop is run by a local ranch, so you know their meat is the good stuff. They also fix it up just right, so you don't need to do any work yourself and add ketchup or mustard-trust them, they do it RIGHT. Their fries are fried in beef tallow, and I don't think I'll ever look at another French fry the same way again. Bonus: they have espresso and coffee drink and a cute little shop with some ~healthy~ food and a refrigerator full of cut meats from their ranch that you can take home and cook up yourself, but let's be honest-- you can't tip what they do here in their own kitchen! Just the summary: stop here and get a burger, even if you're not hungry. I promise you won't regret it! read more

I didn't end up eating here because it's crazy expensive. The people seem nice and the food seems good, but ain't nobody got $15 for a double cheeseburger with no sides. I think the reason for the extortionate prices is that this is the only food in all of tensleep. They got the monopoly. read more

It was a really good burger! It was not over cooked and had a delicious taste. Love the setting really neat place. I didn't expect it to have a drive through. Little pricey for a burger and fries but the quality is there! read more

Absolutely Delicious! I had a bunless cheeseburger with an added egg. My wife had a bunless burger. We shared the generous portion of fries. We devoured everything! So yummy! They also sell dry aged beef, and some bulk foods, nuts, and candy. Service was very friendly, too. Our cook also makes guitars. read more

The beef! The beef is delicious! I feel like the relish and fry sauce on the burger cover up too much of the beef flavor. When you have that quality of meat I really want it to shine, but that is easily remedied. Their seasoning on the patty is also spot on. Thanks! read more

the burgers and fries were very good. there was also plenty of seating outside. would certainly drive out of the way for this place.
