This is such a cute soda saloon! I ordered the original banana split which comes with a scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream on top of a banana. The toppings on include pineapple, chocolate, and strawberry topping, whip cream & peanuts. This banana split was almost the size of my head- the scoops of ice cream are very generous huge scoops. We shared this between 4 people and it was perfect for us. For $10 this is ABSOLUTELY worth it and it's great for a sweet tooth. read more

Don't miss this stop for a light lunch or a sweet treat in Cody! This is a cute little old-fashioned soda fountain on Main Street in Cody. They have a rather large menu of different kinds of ice cream sodas and old-fashioned soda drinks. So many flavors to choose from! I had an ice cream soda with lemon soda and huckleberry ice cream. It was absolutely delicious! It came in a big glass with a side shot of more soda to add as you drink it down. My husband had one with blue raspberry soda and vanilla ice cream. So good! Great food and quick service. Super fun choices of soda. I had the lobster roll with butternut squash and roasted red pepper soup as a side and the tigers blood soda. We were visiting from out of state and were looking forward to ice cream from Annie's as it was recommended. Every other shop in Cody had very helpful, friendly staff with excellent service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at Annie's. The shop was virtually empty of customers but had four staff members. After being shown to a table, we were told that since we were ordering ice cream only, we'd have to walk to the register to order ice cream. Okay, so we did. After including the tip when paying for the ice cream, I sat back down. Right after the ice cream was brought to the table, the least friendly member of the staff plunked a sign down on our table that instructed us to bus our on table after eating. Really? Four staff and they're too entitled to actually work? Only one member of the staff was friendly (Petite young lady with red hair). The largest young lady was border line rude. The rest just stayed behind the counter and did nothing. The ice cream was nothing special, not any better than one can buy in the grocery store. What a lousy experience and disappointment. Will try the competition next time. It's understandable why there were no customers while we were there except one elderly couple eating a meal. They didn't bus their table. My wife actually bussed our table before I could stop her. I should've asked the staff to tip us since we did their job. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but I'd hate other customers to have the same experience we did. Too bad, really. We thought Annie's would be fun. read more

We have spent the summer tasting Huckleberry shakes throughout the mountain west and Annie's blew them all away. So many fresh huckleberries in the shake you have to chew it. In old school fashion the shake comes in a glass with the extra in a second stainless cup it was blended in. Service was fast and friendly and it has an old west feel. They ask you to bus your own tables which I didn't mind a bit. read more

Cody is a small town in Wyoming and we were so happy to find Annie's Soda Saloon. $5 for an ice cream float, you can't beat that price. Straight out the Mountain was so delicious and it made me want more. They seriously give you a generous amount and a small mason jar with extra soda. What a bonus! One thing that they need to work on is the customer service. We went here about 3 times during our time in Wyoming. The workers there are not friendly and seemed so disorganized as if it's their first day. They have an area where you place your order for all food and drinks, then you get a number and sit down. Whether you order a full meal or just an ice cream cone, the process is the same. Yet they have plenty of workers standing around the ice cream and drink area, which gives the impression that you can order from there. We waited 10 minutes for ONE ice cream cone. Then I went and asked about it and he said, oh I think your order got lost, let me make it for you real quick. Then within minutes I got my ice cream cone. I understand that they are busy, but they need a better process. This review and stars is based on the ice cream and floats alone. I think with improvement on service they can easily become a 5 star place to visit. read more

Lunch today at Annie's consisted of Reuben with a side of chili and the Italian with a side of chicken noodle soup. Rebel has pastrami instead corned beef which is ok but I prefer corned beef. Sandwich could have used a tad more thousand island dressing for my taste but overall the meat to sauerkraut to dressing ration worked well. The rye bread was fresh tasting and not strong. My side of chili was pretty good but not the best in town as the young man behind the counter said, But it was good. My wife's Italian was very good and the side of chicken noodle soup was loaded with chicken and veggies. Additionally, the portion size is HUGE for the price, so if you need some calories packed on get the full size portion. Otherwise get a half size. I personally ate a full size and have "No Ragrets". Haven't had a bad thing here. It's kind of one of those places you just HAVE to visit in Cody. Watch the gunfights right outside, then step in for a humongous float. My favorite item is the Cassie float because it tastes like a cherry limeade. The clean, country decor of the place is a whole vibe, too. Great options for lunch. Decided to stop in because of the reviews..not sure if I would go again. You enter and there was six teenagers behind the counter huddled together. One immediately told us that the menus were end and to order there. We found a seat and then went up and placed our order. It asked for a tip so I gave 15%. Had I known that the only service provided was the delivery of our food, I would have skipped it. The salads were okay. However, they didn't slice up the strawberries or egg for the salad yet didn't give you a knife to cut them up.
