Huckleberry ice cream
Samantha B.

Homemade soda with SO many options! I went with the pomegranate and it was fantastic. Unfortunately I was only stopping in for a quick snack so I didn't get any "real food" however I got a bowl of huckleberry ice cream and it was to die for. So good. The vibe of this place is awesome, the gals working were patient and friendly. I'd love to come back some day!

Cody is a small town in Wyoming and we were so happy to find Annie's Soda Saloon. $5 for an ice cream float, you can't beat that price. Straight out the Mountain was so delicious and it made me want more. They seriously give you a generous amount and a small mason jar with extra soda. What a bonus! One thing that they need to work on is the customer service. We went here about 3 times during our time in Wyoming. The workers there are not friendly and seemed so disorganized as if it's their first day. They have an area where you place your order for all food and drinks, then you get a number and sit down. Whether you order a full meal or just an ice cream cone, the process is the same. Yet they have plenty of workers standing around the ice cream and drink area, which gives the impression that you can order from there. We waited 10 minutes for ONE ice cream cone. Then I went and asked about it and he said, oh I think your order got lost, let me make it for you real quick. Then within minutes I got my ice cream cone. I understand that they are busy, but they need a better process. This review and stars is based on the ice cream and floats alone. I think with improvement on service they can easily become a 5 star place to visit.

Banana split

Annie's is always a fun spot to pop into. They make a solid banana split with all the fixings and the staff is nice.

Italian with chicken noodle soup
Ronald B.

Lunch today at Annie's consisted of Reuben with a side of chili and the Italian with a side of chicken noodle soup. Rebel has pastrami instead corned beef which is ok but I prefer corned beef. Sandwich could have used a tad more thousand island dressing for my taste but overall the meat to sauerkraut to dressing ration worked well. The rye bread was fresh tasting and not strong. My side of chili was pretty good but not the best in town as the young man behind the counter said, But it was good. My wife's Italian was very good and the side of chicken noodle soup was loaded with chicken and veggies. Annie's continues to be a go to place for quick lunch or ice cream delights whenever we visit Cody.

Soda sampler

Recommend the soda sampler, mango was our favorite overall. Biscuits and gravy were great, good service, and the prices were reasonable as well

We ordered a side salad (which was basically a full serving) and a French dip and quite frankly it was the best French dip I've ever had. The service was great and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We got lots of advice for our journey to Yellowstone and I would recommend this place to anyone stopping in!

Dad (who is 87) was with us and we had trekked over to the Proud Cut Saloon as it was not too far from our hotel and was open. The place was packed, and we didn't have a rezzie. The staff managed to find us a table and seated us quickly even still. Our server (Holly) was fantastic! She had great recommendations and was pleasant the entire evening (even though she was juggling a full load of tables). The food was delicious - skirt steak and prime rib were cooked to perfection, and my father enjoyed the senior steak platter that included onion rings as big as his head! Bread pudding for the dessert win. Everything, even the cocktails, came out quickly and without issue. We are so happy we found the Proud Cut Saloon!

The restaurant was full. The bar was full and she was on her toes. I was really excited that they Moose Drool brown ale. QT's is literally in the same parking lot and 20 steps away. We walked in and were seated right away. It was slow, early dinner time, but did pick up before we left. Frederick was our server but he was more than that. He had a fun sense of humor that we played along with. He asked us where we were from (MN) and where we were going (Yellowstone via Jackson Hole). He gave us lots of advice on which route to take, what to see along the way, and where to stay once we got there. The entrees were ordered and delivered quickly. Everything tasted wonderful. I got the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich. I liked it but didn't care for the giant pieces of uncut tomatoes. Sis got the Cowboy Burger. Ma and Pa got the Mile High Sirloin Steak sandwich. Mom raved over the grilled onions and mushrooms, and she loved the thin sliced steak. Dad liked it too but passed on the Chipotle mayo. Too spice for him, I thought it was tasty on my fries. I'm sad to think I'll never be able to try other things on their menu or breakfast buffet. Hopefully if you're reading this, you will.

Waitress made the staff prepare a bowl of fruit for our son and brought him a color book, and was just the sweetest and most heart warming person to her clients. While also giving the locals their attention and handling a busy morning like a professional. Plus gave some amazing recommendations! Definitely won our hearts and our tip! -Farmers favorite: 5/5 (pay for a side of green chile pork) Our waitress wasn't lying when she said it was delicious! A bite that's almost farm fresh whole being a hash like consistency makes this bite a delicious one! Soft but slightly crispy while having a rich flavor from the pork. Alone, delicious, add the pork chile verde!?!? Another level!!! Authentic hatch green chile verde to top this makes it a Mexican inspired almost gravy like consistency that just screams in savory and is the perfect match to change up the ole ketchup and hot sauce you'd drop on this kind of a meal. -sweet role: 5/5 Get the sweet role... get it with the home made glaze too! Don't just wait... order it right away before they sell out. One of the best rolls we've ordered together. Definitely worth coming in just for this... plus. It feeds 4 or more. Trust me.... I got Granny's Favorite which was 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and sourdough toast. You do get some choices with that like what meat you want, what kind of toast, and how the eggs are made, however there are no substitutions so I had to stick with the hash browns despite not loving them (not from here but in general). The food wasn't anything that overly stood out to me, but I did get a very generic breakfast. The staff, however, were friendly and some of the hosts as we were leaving were even talking about the Australian Emu War which I thought was funny. Overall, I wouldn't avoid coming back if we were in Cody, Wyoming again but I would probably see if there was a different recommendation next time.
