Super early, I went for a walk and found an open Coffee Shop. Only 3 or 4 people at 7am. Quiet and friendly with every coffee imaginable to order. I stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich before a bit of a drive the other day. There was a bit of a line, but for me, that means it is typically worth the wait and it was for me. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, breakfast sandwich and a macaron as a sweet treat for later on. It was under $20 for everything with tip. The woman behind the counter there were kind, professional and proficient. My coffee was spectacular, but my breakfast sandwich was lack luster. I ordered an iced matcha and asked for an extra scoop. The menu did not say the matcha was vanilla, which I would not have ordered if I would have known. The vanilla was over powering and made it taste awful. When I asked the barista to add milk to it she said that I asked for an extra scoop and I let her know that yes I did but I did not know it was vanilla. She replied inappropriately by snapping at me that it comes with the vanilla already in their mix. 1. It was not stated on the menu that it included vanilla. 2. Her response was disrespectful. I do not recommend this establishment if this level of customer service and behavior is tolerated. read more

Definitely a popular place to get coffee and a bite to eat. On one of the main streets through Cody, you'll find this gem. The coffee was great! The staff is quick and offered good suggestions for breakfast (go as early as possible they have limited quantities of breakfast burritos). They have t-shirts for sale with their logo (thicker cotton, yay! iykyk), had to get one. There are stickers and a few other products for sale, too. Really cute little coffee shop on the main drag of town. Here on vacation and was looking for a good latte and they did not disappoint! They had an EXTENSIVE selection of flavors for coffee drinks, including the local "huckleberry" which I got in my latte. A really unique flavor you can't get outside of the area and a great tasting latte. My husband got a drip coffee which he also said was good. They also had reasonably priced food if staying at one of the nearby hotels and needing something for breakfast. Would definitely recommend stopping in! read more

Rawhide Coffee is a good spot to stop when needing a break from the nearby shops. There are spots to be seen or avoid being seen. You can stay for a minute, or for longer. Meet with friends, have a small bite to eat, read a book, check your mail, study. All of that is good and makes for a unique stop. What wasn't good, was the coffee. I mean, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't enough to make me go out of my way. My latte was flavorless and not-warm, as though they used unheated milk that brought the temperature of the coffee itself to barely over room-temperature. It was disappointing. And it happened twice in two separate stops. Despite the name, this shop's coffee is not its strong point. Come to Rawhide to hang out, or to escape, but don't come solely for the coffee. Tough on tourists! Went in for a couple items and literally had to wait 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich to be warmed up. This place is much better and a fraction of the price of some unnamed coffee chain. I came in for breakfast and coffee- they served up cowboy cassarole- which is a potato, eggs, sausage and cheese cassarole which was delicious! It was filling and tasted like it was made at home. The service was fast and proficient. The gals behind the counter kept moving quickly and smoothly to get everyone their drinks efficiently! Parking is along the street- there's no lot that I know about. Parallel park it. No, that cowboy isn't a valet. I asked- they will serve you Cowboy Coffee if you request it. You see, Cowboy Coffee is when you just add the ground coffee directly to the hot water and stir it around. You use your mustache to filter out the coffee grounds instead of a filter. read more

Coffee was excellent as well as the strawberry smoothie. Also enjoyed the cowboy casserole which could have been plenty for two. Prices were very reasonable. Loved the friendly vibe of the shop. The down side of our visit was the breakfast burritos, we got them to go since we had a long drive ahead of us. The eggs were rubbery and felt like they were a couple days old and the sausage was very bland.
