Bear Paw Espresso is one of the former that I'm sorry isn't closer to home. It has all the usual coffee and non-coffee options. Both times it's been a great experience. It's a good spot for the kids, too, because they have several options for them, too; It's in an odd location, a gravel parking lot that I'm not sure is part of the park across the street, or the business nearby. It you were not looking for it, you might miss it. The employees are friendly, the service is quick, and the coffee is hot and tasty. Like many spots like this, there's a loyalty program -- no punch cards -- give them your phone number and you're sent a confirmation. If you're in Cody, take a short trip off the main street and enjoy a hot or cold concoction. It'll be worth it.

I was able to find what I needed at this store, plus I had a good conversation with the store manager. They have more fabric then anything in this store, and I wish there was a bit more choice in thread, but I was able to learn that I can have my machine maintained with a contractor in Cody who picks up your sewing machine and charges only half of what I used to pay elsewhere. I was just happy to have someplace local I can go when I need something on the fly. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that there are classed being taught regarding arts and crafts. The manager sent me across the street, and I talked with one of the teachers who put me on a list for a specific class I may be interested in. This store gets a 5 star rating for being local and for pleasant help within the store.

This is one of the nicest grocery stores I have been in on this trip - they just moved into their new location and have so much space. There were loads of great products that I needed - and plenty of good products that I hadn't seen (especially snacky things!). I got vegan instant oatmeal which would prove incredibly useful in the next few days. Great service and lovely clean bathrooms. The owner, Martie Clark, was super helpful and friendly. Now all she has to do is get Michael Cluizel chocolate bars, Sjaak's and Go Max Go vegan chocolate bars and she'll have the PERFECT grocery store! :)
