I live in a large city, so I don't tend to have the best memory of the names and faces of store owners where I shop. Especially when it's just once. I thought this place was really nice and liked the clothing and accessories (hence me making purchases). I do have a vague memory of the woman in the store. She brought me a pair of shoes in my size once and I of course thanked her at the register and complimented her shop as I paid a pretty large sum for my items. I am known for being very kind to local businesses, cashiers, waiters, etc. As odd as it sounds. Over a year later, a few of my friends that live in the area told me that "Moni" was telling people how much she hated me. I had to ask who that was. Kinda shocked me. An entire year after a nice experience in her store and spending money in it, the owner is telling people she hates me. It's pI live in a large city and can't imagine someone remembering a one time customer by name after a year. Especially one that didn't cause conflict. What a truly tacky person. Don't even bother going in this place. It seems that no one is good enough for Moni. Still can't figure out if it was the money I spent or the Thank you so much that I said to her that made her trash talk me to a small town 1500 miles away from me. But either way. If there's a happy place for a scrapbooker, she might have found it here. Scrapbook supplies are not the only things sold here of course, there are t-shirts for decorating with decals, rhinestones, glitter or for transferring designs to embellish later. Treasured memories is also a matting/frame shop for custom framing. They have as large a collection as I think you can get for a store of this size. I think the owners will also transfer your photos, or home movies, or cassette tapes onto digital media. In other words, if this kind of "art" is your deal, then stop here. As much as ordering online is convenient, there's nothing like a tactile experience and supporting a small business is the best way to get the inside deals.

We were traveling through Cody and simply needed to find a jewelry store where we could borrow the jewelers eye loupe. These kind folks had just closed the store but allowed us to come in anyway and borrow the eye loupe. We spent a good 10 to 15 minutes discussing a specific piece of jewelry. There was probably nothing in it for the jeweler, but they were so kind and generous with their time. We also had a nice conversation. I think they are solid people and would highly recommend visiting their store and doing business with them if you are looking for a nice jewelry store in Cody.

I came in here to ask for a Cody downtown area map and ended up carrying on a conversation with the super friendly employees, glancing at their large store FULL of local arts and souvenirs and buying a few knick-knacks. Unlike other businesses in the area, they allowed me to take a picture of the renowned Jackalopes they had hanging on the wall for sale. If you're asking what a Jackalope is, well today's your lucky day. It's an imaginary Wild West animal of folklore and a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope (or goat or deer) which is usually portrayed as a rabbit with antlers. H&B has 'em for sale if that's what you're "hunting" out during your Wild West ventures. --See a picture of one under the business listings-- Also what's unique is that the owners of H&B get to know, firsthand, the artists, craftsmen and people who created the unique and special works of art that they sell to the public. Again, they have everything from buffalo heads, clothing, dolls, dreamcatchers, drums, jewelry, pottery, and more!
