Gal at front desk was very friendly. Loved the kitty! Most prices were outrageous! We are thrifters so that was a real shock. Our group picked up several things with a $100 price tag. We all agreed that half price days would make it much more realistic. They had a buy one get one free on tshirts but none of us were interested in any tshirts. They had a good selection of clothing, just very pricey. We would visit again but not unless they change the purse policy. Maybe cameras vs violating my right to carry my purse into a store would be better??

They watched anime and weird shows that swore. They never greeted me, never asked if I needed help with anything, etc. (which will definitely affect the chances of me buying something). Nothing was organized or cleaned. It was like walking through a dump that smelled vaguely of stale cigarettes. Everything was dirty and it was obvious that they hadn't cleaned anything. Glad it's closed, there's nicer thrift stores out there and I'm definitely willing to drive the distance.

What might set them apart is the quality of the items they sell. Everything I saw was well-cared for. It's not a junk store but because of the number of things they have here, it can look junky. I'm sure there's a method to how the store is laid out, but some sections blur the lines and that means you really will be on a treasure hunt. It doesn't matter though because it's a fun store to browse. It's cash-only business, so that helps keep costs under control, but does require planning if your preference is using plastic to buy. The employees are very nice and will give you tidbits of information or background on some of the things you purchase.

Some pieces looked authentic but a bit overpriced. Owner didn't seem to know where some of the…read morepieces came from. He said the moccasins I was ready to purchase were from the local area however a tag inside the moccasins said "Yakama Mocs" on the inside of one of them. They came from the Yakima Tribe so they're not authentic to Montana at all. Look at your pieces very carefully. Another piece said from "Katie's Antique Mall" so you're not buying pieces authentic to Montana Native tribes at all. Yet the owner is pricing these pieces like he knows exactly where they came from. There is a hodgepodge from all different places and not necessarily for Montana so in my opinion, it's a crapshoot! Also, the place looks very run down on the outside and looks like it's been closed up for several months The gate stays closed even during business hours. You have to call the owner and he'll tell you to go ahead and open up the gate and he'll meet you at the shop. That's how it is here.
