Great atmosphere lots of energy great food. We ordered their special "Pappardelle" pasta with Lobster, Clams, Mussels and we ordered a second pasta dish "Cacio e Pepe" . Both were very good. Their pasta is homemade and was very authentic. We asked for the seafood pasta special without calamari. It came out "with" calamari and had little no lobster we could find. Here is where you can judge a great restaurant. We mentioned this to our server (and note always respectful and polite) she brought over the manager and both were eager to please. They offered us a bunch of options (something else, take it off the check) but we simply choose to have it re made. It was amazing. So nice to meet others who care. I run my own business and I care. I visited with a group of about 12. We loved the atmosphere, great vibe. I ordered the almond French toast, knife and fork caesar salad and the smoked salmon avocado toast I ate with a friend. The salad and toast were great. The almond French toast did not do it fit me. Some of the other guest who order it that it was fine but I wasn't impressed. The flavors just didn't flow. The bevy rocks from the drinks to the food. My favorite dish was the octopus it was great packed with flavor. They have a smoked old fashioned it's really good. They have a excellent variety of high end alcohol. The vibe is really cool the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. Restaurant is very clean. We stopped here after running the Naples half marathon. I've always wanted to try it, but was never in the area. When we walked in, we immediately felt underdressed as this is a classy place. They had heaters and everything was crisp and beautiful. The other diners were pretty fancy for Sunday brunch. We were starving and the menu looked delicious. I could of ordered one of everything! My friend and I ordered the banana pancakes, the smoked salmon, and the calamari. We are both pretty small, so we felt silly ordering all this food. However when the server delivered it, I was relieved we ordered so much because the portions are SMALL!!! Typically I can't finish my own meal and my friend and I are everything. So that's why it's 4 stars. The banana walnut pancakes are delicious. They are sweet and crisp and my absolute favorite. The smoked salmon was unique and another home run dish. Came to The Bevy with a family group of girls for brunch on a Friday while visiting the Naples area on vacation. The restaurant is great for large groups - they have tons of long tables which are mostly outside but surprisingly it was very cool with the fans and awnings they have covering the dining areas. We ordered some cocktails to start. I had the Ruby Fizz which was good but not what I was expecting. There was A LOT of juice and I could barely taste the gin. And almost no soda water to speak of. Not sure I'd order it again. I ordered the Lobster Benedict for my entrée which was delicious! The homemade hollandaise was to die for and chunks of lobster on the side was perfect! My sister ordered the pancake which was more like a crepe style pancake but overall was quite good. Their menu has a lot of really great food and beverage options! The other girls that ordered bloody Mary's said they were quite good as well. Overall, the experience was pretty good until we finished eating. Our server didn't come back to our table for almost 30 minutes (we clocked it). It looked like she had the entire side patio and I'm sure they were a bit short staffed but we kept trying to get her attention as she passed by (we were near a table by a door) and she just ignored us. Another member of the staff came by to start clearing our table after a while so we asked for water refills and wanted the check which took even longer for that to happen. We would have stayed and ordered more drinks but decided to leave when we had the chance. The experience was really great up until that point and then it just fell flat for me. Come here during happy hour the savings really add up. We had 2 dishes 2 drinks and 2 desserts and the total was $64ish. It is so hot in naples but the semi-outdoor seating in this place is highly efficient at keeping you cool (they use misters and fans). I'd never been in a misted room so when it happened I got scared and jumped to keep my phone from getting wet but the water is so fine it never leaves a residue on you.( ladies you don't have to worry about it messing up your makeup) The appetizer bread was GOOD! The butter is molded in the shape of a roses and I love that they serve it with a side of olives. Watermelon salad: all ingredients were great I was happy it didn't come with lettuce because shredded lettuce is a pain to eat. Perfectly ripe watermelon. Chicken Pasta: you can actually taste the difference in the noodles they cook here versus the ones you buy at Publix. The texture and absorbency was rich and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Chicken went amazing with the red sauce Dessert: Flan: not good Tres Leches: incredibly filling with a light sweetness to it. The cream surrounding it kinda tasted like powdered milk but I have no reason to believe they didn't use quality ingredients in it. Service: this classy blonde waited on us and made sure we got seats we liked and had a great time. On the menu I saw they do cake-cutting if you're celebrating something there. It didn't look like we ate that much but we had to skip diner because we were so full from our late lunch there. I'm not rushing back here, but I'm glad we went and I would take visitors here for some dependably good dining. I saw a lot of older couples and adult family members hanging out. This would be a good first date spot if you can find a space at the bar. People were dressed in yacht-casual or what they would wear to a First Watch. First time in and it was a delight! I loved the atmosphere and layout with the bar in the middle and outdoor seating. We got to sit right next to the vertical garden which was cool. It was my first time here but the friends I was with they have been here many many times and they absolutely love this place, especially their happy hour. Had a late dinner around 8:30 on a Friday night. This was a great experience from beginning to end. The hostess Jaylen was very welcoming and attentive making sure to get our table ready as soon as possible. The ambience in this place is great. It's like a tucked away place with a chilax vibe. All seating was outdoors and the weather was perfect. Our server Katerina was extremely knowledgeable, friendly , and attentive. Even the young lady and gentleman that would bring out our plates or clear the table were extremely friendly. Onto the food ... since we had already had cocktails elsewhere we opted for a glass of wine instead. We started with the frito di mare which was excellent. Then we shared the gnocchi which was highly recommended by our server and the skirt steak. Both were AMAZING! To end the meal we had a chocolate mousse cake for dessert that was to die for. Headed here for brunch on a recent Sunday during the pandemic. Tables were distanced, servers had masks but that didn't take away from the cool ambiance of this place. We were seated out on the patio with the interesting "plant wall" (I kept touching it to see if it was real and to see if I could figure out how to do that at home!). Jonathon was our server and he was great! Pleasant, personable with lots of suggestions on food and beverages which we gladly followed. I started with their spicy Bloody Mary (woo! my lips were burning!) and their lobster Benedict. My friends had avocado toast and some fancy pancakes with fruit. All were delicious and came up quickly. Check out their specialty cocktail menu. We did! Had a prickly pear margarita which put a smile on our faces. And for more smiles?They even had a DJ during our brunch which added just a nice extra touch given so many places have done away with the extras during these interesting times. And prices were reasonable too! We also learned the have happy hour daily (weekends too!) which sounds like a great idea to make a day better! Really liked this place. Brunch at the Bevy was a little underwhelming for me, hence no photo. My tuna tartare was delicious, but was a little on the salty side. I paired it with their caprese salad, and although mozzarella cheese is delicious, they served it with with little cherry tomatoes instead of beefsteak tomatoes and very little basil, maybe 3 small leaves? Three of us had bloody Mary's, the price was right at $5, but you get what you pay for. The Bloody Mary's are served in a small glass, something you would get a shot with a splash of something in it, not your normal tall glass with all the fixins'. My tequila Bloody Mary was watered down and I could barely taste the tequila, and the mix really didn't have much flavor or depth to it, needless to say I didn't order another. The atmosphere is ok, I do like the concept of the living wall, but I think they could make it so much cuter inside. Today, I was hoping to take my cousin (who is in a wheelchair) and mother for a nice happy hour only to find out that they were not serving happy hour. Why?? I checked the website this morning and it showed that happy hour is Mon- Thursday 3-5:45. And for extra information, I went on a Monday. The gal who was the hostess did not help in any way. She said that it wasn't correct and said that her computer browser was not saying that. This was a large disappointment. We made a reservation and planned our evening around this, including the process of loading and unloading my cousin. Those were really good! I don't even like olives but tried them because there was some seasoning to them and actually liked it! My drink was a spicy margarita my friend got the espresso martini and both drinks were fabulous! For food we split the cacio e pepe and the watermelon salad.... Tonight they offered prosecco, pinot grigio, chardonnay and a cabernet as part of the happy hour specials. Everything on the menu was half off except for any "add-ons" as in a salad with chicken added on. Our server, Laura, was excellent. She attentive, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. I was in Naples for Thanksgiving weekend, just a quick trip in and out. Enjoyed this new restaurant called The Bevy on 12th Avenue South. Donato & Martino, the proprietors, are wonderful, as is the ambiance & the food. They had a saxophone player standing out front, which is what attracted me to the place. Ate here 2 out of the 3 nights I was in town. Enjoyed a delicious salmon dinner the first night, and a pasta dish the second. Chocolate cake for dessert both nights. Two horrible experiences here but not completely their fault - they were short staffed during Christmas week. Heard amazing things but went two different days and left both times. One day they were only doing drinks and no food and the next day they only had bar seating so it was full. I had such high expectations and they were not fulfilled at all. read more
