My only issue is it has started lifting and not at the full two weeks, which I read online has to do with square nails, so I'll maybe have to do a more rounded nail style. I went on a whim because I was in Burbank and I am so happy with my gel mani! Yuyu was my manicurist and she did such a meticulous and beautiful job on my nails. From the shape to the cleaning, and of course she chose a color that was exactly what I was imagining. The only downside is a 4% charge on CC transactions. There's an ATM inside you can use, it's only a $1 charge.

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. Also, the owners of this place were very nice and cleared up the misunderstanding we had during my first appt. I appreciated the genuine and kind follow up from them, which means a lot to me! I do love the quality of work they do here, and they'll continue to be my go-to nail salon!

I came back after a long nail break and today was my third and final visit. The last two appts were a little bit off, all the little things that used to make this my favorite place were hit or miss now, but today was almost insulting. The woman doing my pedicure right away seemed new and unsure about everything she was doing. Cool, I'm patient. But it wasn't really the relaxing vibe I was paying extra for- a lot of bumbling around, leaving the scrub on my legs until it started to itch, cleaning the whole basin while my legs were cold and wet instead of drying them first, stuff like that. I was really dying for some pampering today so all of that stunk, but fine. She barely took any length off my toenails despite asking her to cut them short not just file. The clipper hardly touched them. I had to ask her to go back again and she did and they are STILL longer than they should be. But the part that was insane: during my 10 minute leg "massage" (which was only 8 minutes), she was literally texting with one hand and half massaging me with the other for maybe half the time. I was staring right at her in disbelief. I should have said something but I honestly felt weird demanding she massage me better? I wanted to relax, and that would have felt so uncomfortable. At one point she was just absentmindedly scraping her fingernail up and down the bottom of my foot, totally lost in her phone. I've never experienced anything close to this here. When I paid, the woman at the desk asked how it was, and I hesitated (this woman was right next to me) but said, slowly "um... okaaaay, but" and she cut me off "great! You owe $53"- she obviously didn't care, so I decided not to bother. The polish is nice even if my toenails will have to be cut in maybe a week max. That sucks. I still tipped 15% since I usually tip 25 or 30 because they are usually that good, but now I wish I'd tipped less. Absolutely wild experience.

However, I waited for over 30 minutes, they didn't even seat me at a pedicure chair at the very least. Although the women who did my pedicure was nice, the whole process felt very rushed. With that being said, I got a gel French pedicure, but keep in mind I did not get a sugar scrub, hot towel treatment, or any extras however she still charged me $70 as if I choose a deluxe pedicure package. They fit me in and cleaned me up with no problem. I now exclusively go to Zoe for my hard gel manicure and when my nail art ideas get wild Laura jumps in to handle it. Iris has also done my nails and is very skilled with hard gel! Ok but back to what brought me here first- the pedicures! Inside the salon it's very relaxing and the chairs are large and cushy. The bowls for your feet are bagged and sanitary. Both pedicures and manicures have lots of add on options, sometimes I add an extra 10min massage and it's insanely relaxing. There was a time that I thought my nail polish wasn't as clean as I wanted it and after emailing them some photos they scheduled me for a repolish. Overall, this place is clean and relaxing. I haven't had any communication issues with front desk. Every technician I've had has been polite and friendly. The one time I felt they left me wanting something better, they fixed it. I only go to Anashe -- she is an actual angel on this earth. Their manicures last me almost a month too, which has never happened anywhere else. The whole staff is so sweet. Robert, who runs the shop with his wife, always makes you feel welcome. Most of the staff is Armenian and they offer strong, fresh Armenian coffee that I sometimes look forward to even more than my new nails. Only minor downside: appointments can run 15-20 minutes over sometimes. But it's clearly because they're perfectionists and take their time to get everything right. Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.
