Second time coming here. Looking to find my go to place. My usual place is just not cutting it anymore. I just go primarily for a classic pedicure. I had a great first experience and it was just as great today. I had Lin. I told her I had a sensitive spot on one of my cuticles and she handled it with great care. Also told her I was going to ucla tailgate so she bright out a sod idk color for me. The people are kind here. It's bright. Chairs are newer with massage option. They're in a big plaza with Pavillions so parking is never an issue. They also have 4-5 people working at any time so you can actually get in and even do it with a friend. read more

Salon was not overstimulating like other salons I've been to. Just elder aunties working with the tv on for background. Light pink walls with random paintings. The nostalgic vibe from the 90s/2000s. Outdated but cute. Was looking for a quick service nothing too crazy, happened to be in the area. Miss Cindy was thorough and gentle except for when she slightly nicked me but I didn't feel it. oh well. I did a gel extension removal with a clear gel manicure. thankfully she didn't remove too much down to paper thin natural nails. She did my service in under an hour. Massage was lackluster. Spent $60 including tip. I'm sure business is slow so why not make her day , Not too chatty which was totally fine with me. Parking was plentiful since it's in a Pavillions plaza. read more

Called to see if they had time today or tomorrow but they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Went in for a standard pedicure then upgraded to add a wonderful salt scrub massage, which still was below the cost I had in mind. One of the best pedicures I've had in awhile. 3 attempts at gel polish over acrylic and my nails still look bad! I've been here many times over the years for a mani/pedi and have never had a problem until this last week. I had acrylic gel nails that needed a fill, cut down, etc... the lady was nice enough to repair two nails that had fallen off at no extra charge... I asked her to please make the acrylic thinner and cut them down and then shape them into almond shape... she was very rough with my nails i was cringing... it was even painful at times... she seemed very nice, but she was so careless and in a hurry with what she was doing... i don't even think she was using the right tips on that rotating tool because she only used 1 type the whole time when normally I've seen others would use a different tip for the areas closest to you cuticle and skin, etc... (I think the lady's name was Kristine and she kept telling me to come back because i'll like her work)... anyway, i chose a color and she began to apply it... she mentioned that the polish was "old" and the owner didn't like to "waste products", etc... i asked if i should choose a different one and she told me that it was ok... well i left in a hurry because it was a busy Saturday and she basically just wiped my nails down and said bye and walked off to her next waiting customer... I had to come back 2 days later because the finish of the gel was lumpy and uneven... it was not smooth and looked just awful (I wish i had taken a photo)... there were some less opaque areas of the bright yellow color i chose... i came back and she redid them with a different brand of polish that she recommended and she was so rough again in removing the gel polish and then proceeded to apply the new polish... they looked better, but still didn't have a smooth even finish that I'm used to with gel polish... within 2 days the gel polish was completely gone on 3 of my nails and chipping off another nail... but she blamed me for requesting to thin them out... it also exposed that one of the nails was so thin that it was chipping and separating on the side... So I came back again (7 days after the first attempt) and had to explain to them that I needed a polish change again because they needed to fix my nails... and this "conversation" was me standing at the front desk having to yell/speak very loudly back and forth across the room where they were all busy with customers... the same lady again tried to fix my nails, but after she again roughly removed the gel and repaired what was needed with my acrylics, she said she had to have someone else apply the polish because her client with an appointment walked in... I was actually relieved because I thought maybe someone else could do a better job... the next lady was very nice and more gentle and took her time, but the gel polish is still bad... i don't even want to go back and complain or whatever because I'm just frustrated, disappointed and done with this place unfortunately... The pictures attached are what my nails look like today... I chose a different color and the brand they recommended and they are still unacceptable really... will not be coming here ever again... one word to describe the service I received here is UNCOUTH... read more

My nails are oddly shaped, not uniform in the least. Also, some of the nails are bubbling already. However, my primary problem is in what is verbally said, and what was charged. I was told that the manicure was going to be "22 to 25" and in the end was charged 30. Granted, that's not a huge disconnect, but when I mentioned it to the man at the counter he said "Oh! That's the color number, that's not what I mean". I told him alright, but that I was disappointed in being told one thing verbally and another thing upon check out. Then he got downright nasty because I "misunderstood". No, I really didn't. I told him I wouldn't be back. He didn't seem to care. They were busy enough, so many they don't need more clientele. Most of the staff are unfriendly and some make you feel uncomfortable when you say how you want your nails shaped. I politely corrected the way one lady was filing my toe and her response was very rude. Then right afterwards she said something (in a language I did not understand) to the person doing my nails and I know they were talking about me. Another thing is the manager lets the staff talk back and fourth. 3 different conversations going on across the room. Not relaxing at all! One time a manicurist was sitting at a chair next to me chomping on sun flower seeds the whole time. I have been to this salon about 15 times because it is close to my work, but I am done. You can get a spa massage chair pedicure and manicure for $30. They offer full body waxing services for men and women that are quite inexpensive - like eyebrows are $13. Acrylics are around $25-$30 and they offer facials too. To me there is a major difference between wanting to be really pampered at a salon and just getting your nails done. I just wanted my feet cleaned up quick and this place gave me just that. She wore gloves for sterility and my toenails looked good.
