Truly awful. Start with the $50+ entrees. That they burn to death and explain because they use oak fires... nonsense. The salad was also totally off. The explanation the "new guy". We came into Beacon after leaving Topside due to an extremely underwhelming experience and being told by the hostess to head over to Lucky Shuck if we are not happy. We then walked downstairs to The Beacon where we spoke to Bo (the manager) about our time upstairs and did everything he could to turn it around. He had us sat immediately and continuously checked up with us during our dine to make sure everything was perfect! Our server Nick was so friendly and attentive as well. They were extremely accommodating and took wonderful care of us. The food was fantastic and the desserts were phenomenal!!!! We have been here a handful of times and have always had a great experience. The first time we went there we just happened to find the place on our way to a different restaurant. We stopped in to just see how long the wait was and we're told an hour and a half. We decided to go with our original plan and try this place next time, but on our way out the manager ran outside and asked if we would be interested in a bar seat that was open now. We were impressed that he went out of his way to keep us there and didn't mind sitting at the bar at all. It was a great experience and the food was incredible. We have been back several times for drinks and appetizers on the roof. I definitely enjoyed the place and imagine we would be regulars here if we lived just a bit closer. read more

My wife and I always come to beacon with friends when we're in Jupiter this time of the year it's our favorite place to take people the restaurant and the view are so beautiful. This time was no exception. Our waitress told us they recently redid the menu along with the interior and wow, what a good job they did. The food is delicious. Four appetizers we had the spicy octopus and the seafood tower it was so good and a great price. My wife had the local fish from the dock she loved it so fresh. Sunday Brunch at the Beacon is a home run (or if Broadway Joe is reading this review - it's a touch down!). The menu includes 2 cocktails (choice of Mimosa or Bloody Mary). We had one of each and both cocktails were well prepared. Raw bar includes oysters on the 1/2 shell and king crab legs. Buffet included salad with many delicious toppings; Beacon Chicken; Crab Benedict; Steakhouse Potatoes; sausage; bacon; Make-your-own pancakes; diced ahi tuna, sushi rice, smashed avocado, jalapeño; avocado foccacia toast with smashed avocado, marinated tomatoes, burrata cheese, balsamic glaze, micro basil topped with Boratta. We sampled all (excluding the pancakes and salad) and each item was exquisitly prepared and very fresh. We finished brunch off with a cup of coffee, a key lime bite, a cream puff and a chocolate triffle. The pastries are 2-bite sized and every bite is pure heaven. We especially liked the small sized pastries because it allowed us to sample a few items. This Brunch menu is well worth the $60. There were no surprise added costs. Our servers Ann and Whitney were attentive and responded to requests quickly, with a smile, and made us feel like they were delited to spend a Sunday afternoon in our company. Don't waste your money or your time on this place. This was one of the worst, as well as most expensive meals, I've had in a long time. We started with the dirty oysters which were meh...at best. My friend and I both got the sunset menu and our husbands got grouper and the surf and turf. All of our entrees were TERRIBLE. My chicken was inedible. It was so tough and chewy and overcooked that I had to spit it out into my napkin. I scraped off the goat cheese and that was pretty much my meal as that was the only part that was good. The grouper was extremely dry and overcooked. My husbands steak was overcooked and my friends steak was under cooked and absolutely flavorless. The only good part was the steakhouse wedge salad that was the first course of the sunset menu. In terms of the service...I can get past some bad food if the service is impeccable BUT our waiter was terrible...he never asked how our food was, he didn't come back and we had to grab a manager to ask for more drinks. We spent almost $300 a couple and left starving and unsatisfied. It's tragic bc the location and atmosphere are great but we will never go back there. Came back for Mother's Day brunch and it was fantastic. From the hosts, to the cuisine, to the service, everything was on pointe. Recently went to Beacon with my husband and another couple. It was not our first choice. We tried to get into Lucky Shucks but it was packed and it was only 5PM. Beacon however was empty which should have been a red flag. The food was good. We ordered from the HH menu so it was reasonable but the regular menu is way overpriced. From reading past reviews the portions are small, not worth the price. The service was disappointing. The host/manager, server and front desk lady need personalities. Felt like we were a bother to them, though like I said before it was pretty empty. We had planned to stay for dinner but after the unfriendly service we left and went to a neighbor restaurant. Don't think we will be retuning anytime soon. Unfortunate for them since we are nearby residents. read more

Disappointed. Reservations ran late and we had to continue asking for drinks. The snapper entree was over cooked (we ordered 2). Pork chop was bland. Raviolis are tiny and soaked with butter. We tried having the snapper entrees refired but it took way too long and we needed to leave. Crudo appetizer was good as well as bread. She was super knowledgeable about the entire menu! The way she described everything not only made your mouth water, but it made you want to order the entire menu! We started off with some cocktails. I highly recommend the port side it was so refreshing! The bullfighter is also a super unique cocktail! It comes with an tropical alcoholic ice ball! We then had the complimentary olive bread with the eggplant spread! It was so simply yet decadent. We then had the grilled Spanish style octopus which was cooked to perfection! It was so tender! Then we had the stone fruit and burrata salad. The dressing was sooo tasty and the burrata complimented everything so well! Then we had the roasted duck, daily fish of the day (red snapper), and the CHÈVRE & HERB CARAMELLE. All were soooo good! We were too full for dessert but they all sounded delicious! Well where do i begin? After months of waiting for my reservation we finally made it last night! The new buildout of the three concepts is amazing! situated on the water and enough parking for everyone! Valet is fast and on point! Once inside of Beacon we were given the "chef table". It was in clear view of the whole kitchen. Being in the business this a gift or curse! Our server was very nice. He was very patient with our table. We came with a group of 6 for dinner. We all got cocktails some from the menu and some not. All of the cocktails were bespoke and beautiful. The food for the most part was tasty! Octopus was good, little tough. The chicken under brick was perfectly cooked, pork chop was also cooked nicely, and the desserts were absolutely gorgeous and delicious! Whoever the pastry chef is BRAVO! Now for my negatives.. Yea; unfortunately there are negatives! I would honestly give 2.5 stars but i couldn't so i had to round down. Two of my friends ordered the corn bisque soups. The soup is brought to the table in a carafe where they pour it over the ingredients in the bowl. Great in theory, but in our case the soup was cold. After bringing it to our servers attention he acted fast to get replacements. The manager was obviously informed since he came over to apologize as well. The soups were taken and our new soups were brought back in extremely hot bowls. The servers had to use a towel to carry the bowls back to the table. Now; this is the issue. When the bowl is that hot along with the actual soup this means it was microwaved in the bowl and brought back. For this caliber of restaurant this is a huge negative for me. Our server had zero help with the table. No back server at all to help with cocktail orders, or table maintenance. This means we waited longer than usual for cocktails or to get silverware and a lot of the time water. Not his fault entirely since he had other tables but it slowed us down from ordering more cocktails. The next thing is we were up to dessert. We ordered pretty much one of everything! While in Rome right? We asked for new plates which all came hot to the touch. So this means when our sorbets, mousse's, and glazes would all become soup after we place them on these plates. So we asked the server for new plates he said no problem let me grab some cold plates. Then took our warm plates and proceeded to place them back on the pile of new plates! This is crazy especially during a covid pandemic where after we touched the plates they were placed back into the rotation. Not Ok!!! Now to the kitchen! Oh Vey! when you have an open kitchen it's very easy to see things you shouldn't or even want to see. Especially cross contamination. The cook near the bartender handling the seafood and chicken was touching raw food with bar hands and then touching other stuff which is crazy. Chefs using rags for hands and to hold hot pans and throwing them down on countertops where they prep the food to grill. The grill man using his hands to grab the raw meat to season and then touching the raw vegetables with hands to put on grill. Yea; the vegetables will be cooked but why not use Tongs? While this is all happening the manager in the floor who stopped by earlier for our soup situation never came by again to ask us how we were doing. He stopped by and grabbed a plate from our table and kept walking. This is where a manager is able to turn an experience around. Just by taking a moment to check in he could have saved our experience. Once we left we proceeded upstairs to the rooftop! This is a must do. Such a beautiful space overlooking the water and lighthouse! Vibe was on point with an amazing DJ! Might have to skip beacon and just go upstairs for drinks, bites, and vibe! read more

Overpriced and lacking in flavor and finesse. Octopus was chewy, lobster pasta had two tiny pieces of claw meat, our steak was very poorly seasoned and undercooked and our Salmon was brutally overcooked to well done when requested medium. I went to Beacon with friends during happy hour, my first time at this establishment. Certain entrees and drinks from the regular menu were half-price, which is a good thing, because regular prices are a bit steep. $43 for a piece of salmon and salad? Our waiter seemed unhappy to be working there. A smile would've been nice every once in a while. Our group all agreed the food was pretty uninspired. I ordered the pappardelle which was just ok. The pasta was stuck together and the sauce tasted like what you'd get out of a jar at Publix. Another friend ordered the salmon, and she said it tasted a bit "fishy." And one friend who had the chicken meunière said it was overcooked. With so many restaurants to choose from in northern Palm Beach County, a restaurant needs to be special to be successful. With these prices and this mediocre quality, I wonder if Beacon will be able to compete. read more

Th service staff was attentive and were able to present plates with much detail and this helped make the meal more enjoyable. The octopus was the most tender I've ever had. I would definitely get that again. The steak was super tender. Plates are decorated so pretty. The fish is definitely freshly fished and broccolini served with it were perfect. My most favorite dessert was the deconstructed meyer lemon with the strawberry gelato! That was Michelin quality from presentation to each bit of ingredient on there down to the tiny drops of basil. My least favorite was the ricotta cheesecake. The pasta I ordered was a small plate and was homemade with spinach and parsley. The sauce with mussels and squid wasn't perfect as it was a bit too oily and separated. The other portions are not huge but they are healthy clean and just right for one person. You can finish your plate and enjoy your meal along with the scenic view. read more

Based on my wonderful experiences at Lucky Shuck, I was pretty disappointed after eating at Beacon. While beacon has a great atmosphere and beautiful view of the Jupiter inlet, the food was subpar at best. The menu is limited and portions are small because they expect you and pressure you to order appetizers and "eat slowly" as if you were in Europe. My burger was cooked perfectly but it was extremely bland, and although I asked for no tomato, my burger still had a large tomato on it.
