My family came to this restaurant due to the many positive reviews I found on Yelp. I say this restaurant, because I am a bit confused as to what the name is. Their website address has Pullman Bay. Their text messaging service for a table says Pullman Bay. Their restaurant and menu say The Bay. Regardless of who's bay it is, the food here is great! Firstly, this place is clean, the decor is a lake-house diner feel, which i like. I loved they have a text messaging service that tells you when your table is ready. There was a bit of a wait, 25 minutes, but there were a lot of people dining, even more waiting, on this busy Saturday morning. The workers hustle, so its not because they are slow. Once our table was ready, we were sat down and we ordered drinks. My family ordered soda, which they brought in a pitcher, I wanted some coffee. My brother ordered the big breakfast, but he asked for a side of pancakes. My mom got the lakeshore sunrise which was apropos for the restaurant and the fact it is next to the water. My mother especially loved the French toast. I asked for some eggs benedict with a side of bacon. Now this is not a traditional eggs benedict, as it has ham instead of Canadian bacon. Still, it tasted so good, a purist like me ignored that fact. The food was filling and delicious. The service was excellent. We all enjoyed our meal and our time together. If you are in the Celina area or visiting, this is a great place to have breakfast!

A breakfast meal features two slices of toasted bread, a fried egg with a slightly runny yolk, and a cooked sausage patty, all arranged on a white ceramic plate. The plate is placed on a table covered with advertisements and menus, with a red condiment bottle and a white mug nearby.

Nice clean restaurant! The staff was super friendly even when the place was busy & packed out! We had a great breakfast that was affordable for a family of four! The rye bread was so wonderful!

Breakfast with Santa. - A man with a white beard, glasses, and a colorful Hawaiian shirt is seated at a table in a restaurant, smiling and pointing towards the camera. The table has plates of food, a teapot, and drinks. In the background, three women are visible, one standing and two seated, with one wearing a plaid shirt and sunglasses. The restaurant interior features wooden ceiling panels, a ceiling fan, and wall decorations including framed pictures and signs.

Friendly waitresses and great service. Plus we had breakfast with Santa in the house.

Western omelette with fried potatoes. - A breakfast meal on a white plate includes an omelette with ham, tomatoes, and cheese, accompanied by potato chips and two slices of toasted bread. The table has a metal teapot, a cup of coffee, and glasses of water, indicating a restaurant setting. The background shows other breakfast items and a person holding a utensil.

Pullman Bay is now called The Bay and is owned by the former owner's daughter. The restaurant no longer has broasted chicken but has a very similar menu. We had breakfast today and had the western omelette, fried potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Everything was very good! We took home several pieces of pie for supper. Yummy.

Eggs Benedict- damn good! - Close-up of Eggs Benedict featuring poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce and chopped chives, served on an English muffin with ham or bacon underneath. The dish is presented on a white plate, with a breakfast or brunch setting visible in the background, including other plates and a window letting in natural light.

Local place with a great view of the lake. Great food, great service, great prices, and pies made with "Hope and love and joy."

Pork tenderloin with wedges - A plate contains a fried fish sandwich with a bun, topped with mustard sauce, and fried fish fillet inside. Accompanying the sandwich are several potato wedges and two slices of cucumber pickles. The plate is placed on a wooden table, with a paper menu partially visible underneath.

Missing my grandma today as we just laid her to rest.... she should be here eating lunch with us right now... i know she would be getting the white fish sandwich with coleslaw... and of course our sugar cream pie....food was and is always perfect when i would come to visit the great town of celina.

It's from the 60s and probably hasn't changed since they put it up 65 years ago. There's a whiteboard on the back wall with the special for the day written out. Bacon egg and cheese omelette or a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on toast. Five dollars. The kind of place with a few locals sitting at a booth having their morning coffee, one of the waitresses offering Jim the last donut because they know he will want it. He accepts it. This is, in my mind, a classic American small town diner. The kind of place I grew up, eating in my hometown of 500 people. It's not high cuisine, there's nothing fancy about the food although I did come across a few things I had never seen before on the menu. Fried mush. Meat grits specials, like the scuttle butt and the chili Bob. An age old, but perfected recipe of eggs, meat, cheese, and a starch either potatoes ( homefries) or toast. The coffee is weak and not much flavor to it but, to be honest, it's exactly what you would expect in a place like this and there's something comforting about that. Honest, simple food made day and a day out, catering to the local crowd and a few roadway, travelers like myself who happen to come across it. There's a certain charm and depth to places like this that have been lived in day and day out by the same people for decades. For those like up rounded, there's the nostalgia and connection to the many other people having the same experience day after day in communities across the United States. Forgive me if I wax nostalgia can get a little sentimental here, but this morning's dining experience definitely elicited that for me. I hope you can find your own version of this sometime today or in the near future.
