Breakfast Saturday morning. First time here, so when we walked in wasn't sure where to sit or wait to be seated. One server was on her phone and didn't say anything, so we asked the other server to get instructions. Once seated things started to flow. Ordered coffee which was good and refilled often. Stopped in 08/11/2025 around 11:30 it was to hot to eat something heavy so i go in and ask for a fruit plate she said they have one so i ordered 2 plates to go Inside the place looks like an old bar or long defunct restaurant Food comes out bagged and paid get back to work opened one take out container and i see 1/8 in thick sliced water Mellon slices about 4 measured about 3 w x 4 L there was 5 little pieces of cantaloupe and about six cut up strawberries Open second one just about the same thing so i put them both in one container to eat Cannot believe i paid over 11 dollars for something i could have gotten 5 times more of at the suitters stand across the street May never go back again read more

Terrible. After Sunday church around noon. No order at all. We stayed in line to be seated and were not spoken to for Over 25 min. People were cutting in line and sitting down!! A small restaurant chain that knows its communities. I ordered the patty melt. It was probably a half-pound patty, properly grilled on the flat-top and served hot. I would have preferred more grilled onions ... Service is attentive and friendly. The dining room is not over-stuffed, so it is possible for customers and staff to move without any bump and grind. Lulu's Diner has been bookmarked to try for the last two years, and I finally got the chance to try. I love diner's and I especially love breakfast. I've heard this place does a great breakfast and has great eggs benedict. Those who told me this, were dead on correct! I came, I sat, and I ordered some eggs benedict one morning I was in the area. Service was quick and efficient, no complaints there. The place is small but comfortable. The eggs benedict were perfect, a little runny like i love it. Definitely will come back if I want some eggs benedict and don't feel like making them myself. read more

Don't expect them to add your name to their seating list and wait in your car for a table. They will seat people who wait inside first. Do yourself a favor, get back in your car drive to another Lulu's or another restaurant. The restaurant is not well maintained. The carpet looks like it's had a few grease baths. Not surprising considering table scraps are wiped off onto the floor to be ground in by food traffic. Food doesn't come out together. Everything we ordered was over or undercooked. Home fries, pancakes, grilled cheese, and steak undercooked. Toast was burnt. Silverware served wet after the food had time to cool. I stopped eating after a mouthful of uncooked pancake batter. The manager didn't even bother to come over. It's sad that our waitress was so let down by the rest of the restaurant. She was on top of her end. read more

We are originally from Lima and LuLu's opened many years after we moved away. When we visited this weekend, our hotel had free breakfast but we knew we wanted something more satisfying. I'm glad we chose LuLu's! The hubs had the corned beef hash. I had the traditional classic breakfast. They offer many ways to customize your home fries, including adding cheese, gravy, peppers, or jalapeños. The classic breakfast has choice of egg type, choice of meat, and choice of bread. I asked for eggs over medium and crisp bacon and both were delivered. The white bread is thick and grilled with butter. I could've just ordered the bread and been happy! Service was speedy and friendly. My coffee cup and husband's Diet Pepsi were always full. We will definitely come back to LuLu's when we need breakfast in Lima again. read more

A wonderful happy place! Good food, great pricing, fun, laid back, happy staff. They charge an extra dollar to split plates for orders which is a smart option! Fast friendly service. I should have left when the strong blast of odor (from carpet shampoo?) smacked me upside the head---but I had heard good things about this place. The frazzled waitress hurriedly wiped down my small booth with a too wet cloth, so the surface never dried. She didn't give any eye contact, nor did she smile when she asked in a disinterested monotone: "How are you? What do you want to drink?" The worst part was the food---a veggie omelet that was loaded with bacon grease and tons of goopy, gloppy cheese. The eggs were combined with the worst looking potatoes I've ever seen in decades of travel...undercooked, greasy, colorless discs. Even the cinnamon toast was slathered in grease! After I finally got the waitress's attention, asked for me check, handed her the cash with a 20% tip----I was able to get outside in the fresh air. I had barely touched the plate, but she didn't bother to ask why. She simply scooped up the money and off she went. This place is always busy, gets great reviews for the most part. We were camping at Grand Lake St. Mary and couldn't go to our normal breakfast spot because of a marathon. Drove up here and came to LuLu's and I'm glad we did. The server was very friendly and attentive and the food was great. I particularly loved their toast and preserves. The toast is thick cut and they melt the butter in for you. It's served with strawberry preserves. Their home fries were also amazing. And the bacon is super thick. You get a lot of food for not a lot of money. read more

We found this place by pure accident. We were on our way to Nashville for a birthday. My wife said there's a place near here we should try. So off the highway we went and I'm so glad we did. This place is really, really good. We ordered the Bacon Jelly Burger, Rueben and a order of French toast. Everything we tried was just awesome. The Rueben was one of the best I've had on marble rye. Went for brunch on a Sunday. Service was lovely and welcoming, it was busy but they made sure we were taken care of. Food was delicious, large portions, homey feel. Would definitely recommend however, they do not take reservations so be prepared to wait or come early. Loved it! read more

Busy noisy dinner in one location and quiet in the other. Both are near Jackson Center Ohio. Every time we go to Jackson Center to have our Airstream serviced, we go out to breakfast at LULU's.
