    Ft Ft. Worth Ribeye*

If there's one thing Texas Roadhouse can hang their hat on, it's definitely consistency. Being 500 miles away from home, I knew that I could count on TR to provide one of the best steaks in town. I went with my classic-- Ft Worth ribeye smothered in sautéed mushrooms, side salad with ranch and loaded fries. I'm convinced that combination is unmatched. Service was delightful, as always. Top notch hospitality.

Bit of a mixed bag here in regards to this review. My family came to Texas Roadhouse one night after watching the symphony. We were famished and really wanted some good food. There was no wait to be seated and we were quickly escorted to our seat. The waiter was friendly throughout the night and first got our drink orders, which were just soda, as well as our appetizer orders. We ordered some wings to start, and of course we got that delicious bread that Texas Road House is known for. The bread was amazing as always, I just love the butter they use! The wings were lackluster and flavorless, its really just drenched in hot sauce. We ordered our main courses which were: For my brother a burger and fries For me some chicken tenders and fries with honey mustard For my mom some chicken fried steak We also got some cups of chilli as a side as well. The chili was delicious. It was an incredibly cold night, and it hit the spot and warmed us. It was the highlight of the meal. I also did enjoy my chicken. My brother was ambivalent about his burger, felt it needed more flavor. My mom hated the chicken fried steak, it did not taste right at all. She later was sick that night from eating, so the night did not end well at all. As much as I loved the chili and the bread, not sure I will come back.

Rare steak that was still cold in middle

Get someone who knows how to cook a steak !! As you can see in the phot , I ordered the steak medium and it came out rare and still cold in middle .. won't be back , you lost a loyal customer

Huge restaurant serving large portions. The steaks are cooked well and lots of choices of meat. They have chicken, fish, and salad too. Large bar menu. The warm rolls with sweet butter are great. Efficient staff.

She NEVER came back to check on us. We put our empty glasses on the end of the table for a hint. My hubby even got up to look for her. I never saw her because I was facing a back wall. Needless to say we asked for the bill and a box. I have no need to return.

The floor was dirty, my shoes stuck to the floor. The high chair my toddler used was sticky and grimy, probably hasn't been cleaned in a while. I asked for a high chair 3 times. Meanwhile the hostess and server said they'd bring it. They didn't but they watched as I struggled with my toddler. My husband finally got the high chair, 3 feet from our table. Not sure why they kept saying they'd bring it but wouldn't. We also asked for kids menus numerous times. They had to print them and the printer wasn't working right. That honestly boggled my mind that there's no back up. Then the server came and asked what we'd like to order when we still didn't have a kids menu. I said I'd love to order and reminded her we had no kids menu. She just stared at me. I had to ask if she could just tell us what was on the kid's menu so we could order. I got a Caesar salad, about 1/3 of it was rotten lettuce, barely any green romaine. Several chunks of the ends that were inedible. A family member ordered the pick 2. They were out of green beans and pickles. I ordered a medium rare steak, it came out basically well. The flavor was alright, not the best, not awful. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak. He said the fries and sandwich were good, but the bun could've been toasted. My 2 year old got mashed potatoes. I asked for a spoon for him. She brought a huge tablespoon for him. I explained nicely again the spoon was for the two year old. She stared at me. I asked if she could get a small spoon as it's for the toddler. She came out and was kind of snippy saying "this is the smallest spoon we have" bringing the teaspoon, which is what's appropriate for a 2 year old. If our family members hadn't suggested coming here, we wouldn't. I would not recommend Lock Sixteen.

The Met has a policy that your server gets to proudly wear a crown if their name is mentioned in a five star review. Love that policy!! Wear it proudly Ashely!! The Met is a unique building downtown Lima. It was built in the late 1880's and was originally home to the The Metropolitan Bank. It has since been morphed into a restaurant with very attractive original features. The wood floors and plaster ceilings...along with the attractive decor really enhance the dinning experience! The team here is very friendly, professional and welcoming. Ashley was outstanding. She hustled, knew her menu and had great recommendations. Ashley was very attentive and helped us enjoy the evening. I appreciated Liz stopping by and welcoming us. Liz shared lots of history and helped us appreciate the facility. The Met has a large food menu that has something for everyone. They have a large selection of beverages and specialty cocktails. All at reasonable prices. We started with a couple of Mule drinks. One was a designer St. Patrick's Day Mule and their specialty Met Mule. Both were very tasty, cool and refreshing . We started with the Focaccia bread appetizer. It had a lightly golden/chewing top with a soft and moist inside. Liz said that they make the bread fresh three times a day. The bread had a slight olive oil taste with a mild amount of Italian herbs. The soft whipped butter was a nice add. The side salad had lots of fresh spring greens. There was a few tasty tomatoes and lots of stronger tasting onions. The thin Parmesan cheese shreds were an excellent touch. The house ranch dressing was very smooth/light/creamy moderately thin with a mild ranch taste. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. The crust was thin and crispy. She really liked the ranch house made sauce and how it accented the meat toppings. I had the Met Meatloaf which had an outstanding meat flavor. The meat was made with Italian sausage which had a slightly spicy kick. It was moist and tender to go along the beefy taste. The smooth red sauce on top was slightly sweet & spicy. It accented the meat nicely. The mashed potatoes were real with lumps, eyes and minute peel pieces. Very smooth and delicious! The grilled asparagus had a slight crisp to go along with the tender stalk. Not much seasoning detected...just a nice olive oil taste. Overall a fantastic dinner experience. We sat street level and watched the pedestrians come & go while enjoying the decor of this unique facility! The menu is large and the food and drinks are outstanding. A special trip to The Met in downtown Lima is worth a try!

We arrived at 11:30 and left at 2. They were nice to let us linger. Everything we had was terrific. Soups are made in-house. Metered parking on the street and there was a free lot but it was full. Meters were $2 for two hours. Nice staff and there were no staff shortages! Lilly our server was perfect. The food isn't Michelin stared by any means, but usually, it isn't bad. If you have eaten at China Buffet and expected a fine dining experience, you were in the wrong place. China Buffet is your typical asian style buffet. Lots of booths and tables in sectioned off areas, two to three (sometimes more) steam tables to keep the food hot, and the typical red, green, and gold color scheme I've come to expect. You can't forget about the tchotchkes that are available for sale at the register! The funny thing is I sometimes get the feeling of being back in China when I walk in to some buffets here in the U.S.. I've been in several restaurants in China that have a similar vibe and feeling. China Buffet in Lima is clean-ish. It does show its age, but it isn't filthy. The staff is very nice and friendly, and they do speak English for those reviews that said they don't. In fact, they speak better English than may Chinese buffets I have been to. The buffet has many of the food options you expect to see on a buffet. Rice, fried rice, lo mein noodles, rice noodles, pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, honey chicken, green beans, egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken, etc., etc., etc.. The food was hot, tasted good, and varied in selection. The food was fresh, and was replenished on a regular basis. All in all, I enjoyed my lunch at China Buffet. If you go to China Buffet expecting world-class food options, staff in penguin attire, and perfect American English, then maybe China Buffet isn't the place for you. Wendy's and McDonalds are just down the street. However, if you are a veteran of Chinese buffets, and can take the good with the not so good, then give China Buffet a try. You may not care for everything but I am sure you will find something to your liking.
