We stopped at the Beer Barrel on our way home from a long trip. We were seated immediately and our…read moreserver took our drink order. (Let's call her server A). Dad ordered the Lasagna and side salad with thousand island dressing and water. I ordered the Italian Sub with chips and a Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin beer and water. After a long wait, a different server (let's call her server B) came to the table and said "could you remind me what you ordered". Several minutes later server B brought dad's salad. Several minutes later the Han this, Server A (who had walked past 2-3 times since server B had reordered our food), saw my beer was 2/3 empty and asked if I wanted another. Mind you, she never apologized for losing our order or even faked a sign of shock at the length of time we had been sitting without having received our orders. My dad finished his salad, I finished my beer. Server A then approached the couple seated in the booth behind me dad and sat down, proceeding to complain about how she was so busy all day. I went to the restroom. Server A was still seated at the neighboring booth when I returned. There was no food at our table yet either. We left. I didn't approach Server A nor did she approach us as we stood up to leave (she was seated facing our direction). As a 20 year veteran server in family style restaurants and corporate restaurants alike, Server A's complete lack of regard or respect for us was very disappointing. She should not be in this line of work. At best, she is better suited to hosting or bussing. I wouldn't even trust her to be a food runner.

Through the months it has progressed into a full-service coffee shop along with dine-in service for food. Positives: The interior of the restaurant is clean and inviting and it has a good flow to the space. Food-The taste of the food was all great. Frozen Hot Chocolate was a big hit with the kiddos. All of the wait staff including the chef were very friendly and went over and above to make sure we had a great experience. Places to improve upon: My family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids) ordered 2 burgers (One regular and one small version), one large fry (split between all 4 of us), one side salad, 1 beer, 1 roast beef sandwich and then 1 small frozen hot chocolate. I know that prices have gone up but these was not as expected. We paid including tip over $70 for our meal. Definitely not family friendly/affordable. All of the sandwiches do not include sides and the sandwiches don't stand by themselves as far as quality/quantity for the price they are charging. Yes the food is great but not for that cost. The Station Burger does not bring an $11 flavor. Huge let down. The kids menu is void of any healthy options for children as far as the main entree. They at least try to make up with the sides applesauce or Gogurt. Overall I would love to bring the family back for breakfast since that menu is a little more affordable/price point for quality of food served. Its a great place to eat, just a few places to improve on. Best wishes to this newer restaurant in Lima!!!

Then she went to her register and typed for a while still ignoring me. Then after more waiting a guy came in and she took his order. I got up and said I'll go somewhere else. No one cared, or stopped me. The local sports bar feeling is gone here. They're just too big to care. It's like eating in an Arby's that has alcohol. (Arby's owns BW3's by the way) It's time for me to find a local sports bar that cares and isn't $50 for one guy to have lunch. I'm adding this as an edit. Their response is for me to go to a website and explain the problem. This is literally what I'm talking about. They've gotten too big and they know no one will take the time to do that. Thanks for proving my point. The link they sent isn't even clickable and if you paste it it just takes you to their main website. Lol. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR EXPERIENCE!!!!!! I'm done. EDIT #2. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RESPOND TO THE LINK: this is their email to me that was copied and pasted: Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for contacting Buffalo Wild Wings Support. However, you might be better served driving a little further. Biggie's dinning room is full of local, state, college, and professional memorabilia. This is very interesting! During our visit we were the only customers for the 1pm lunch. The waitresses were OK...not really friendly or helpful. They just got the job done. Several times we helped ourselves to refills because it took all them to make our meals at once. We ordered fried pickles and mushrooms. The mushrooms were small and in pieces...and not very tasty. The pickle spears were actually pretty good. I had the wings (one of their specialties). They were good sized but covered in an off-the-shelf BBQ sauce - nothing special. The side salad was large and not bad. The macaroni salad was not good! The Italian sub and waffle fries were described as being sub-par and not real tasty. The Biggie burger was said to be good. Apparently the chicken wrap was pretty good. Next time I'd go for one of their other specialties - pizza. The prices weren't bad. Another interesting note is Biggie is located next to the railroad track. A train did come through and rattle the restaurant. Not too loud though.
