Shaunte is amazing! We are thrilled with our grooming experience and that is a first after 4 years of looking for a groomer. Our dogs have never left the groomer excited and literally smiling. Our puppy who is afraid of everyone was ready to leave with Shaunte. We plan to never have another groomer for our 2 doodles. The whole family has their respective favorite hair stylists and it seems our pups finally found theirs.

After I retired I take my dogs to her because she's the best and I trust her without a doubt! Didn't get the best experience here, brought my dog for a full service and they didn't do the best job. Then I went back to talk to someone so they called the owner and she didn't care. Worst customer service I've seen in a long time! Highly recommend you save your time and money and go somewhere else read more

This was a great experience! We used the mobile groomer on the recommendation of a friend. We have a Shih Tzu and anyone who has that kind of dog knows what a challenge grooming can be. I've had some pretty bad experiences at a big box groomer. My little guy is old, blind and terrified and he did great with our groomer! She was amazing and even gave him a little bow at the end. I had Alexis come and do a mobile grooming on my newly adopted, very skittish, and possibly aggressive Klee Kai rescue. Alexis did an amazing job, getting this new girl all pretty. I cannot say enough good things about Alexis or about the Barking Lot. The whole experience was very professional, they kept me informed of the appointment time and Alexis did a followup text to answer questions that I had. Jasmine groomed our 7 month old schnauzer and she did an excellent job. I loved that she took her time to let my puppy get to know her before she took her out to get groomed and she was able to accomplish what 3 other groomers with other companies could not..... the dreaded fingernail clipping! Thank you Jasmine for getting that accomplished! She also took her time after the grooming to interact with my puppy, which she thoroughly enjoyed! I would have to say, this is by far the best grooming experience we have had over the last 15 years. My puppy actually ran to the window to watch her close up and drive away and then started whimpering when she was out of sight. Be still my heart! Again, thank you Jasmine! read more

Don't recommend this groomers for any pet owner. The lady who gave my dog a cut gave me the worst attitude ever and didn't even cut her right the first time asked. This place is just so unprofessional and the workers are absolutely so rude, don't waste your time or money here. read more

The Barking Lot is hands down the best grooming and doggy daycare in Arizona! I've been getting my Yorkshire terrier groomed by Shaunte, the owner, for several years now and I will not let anyone come close to my Diva. Oftentimes, when you go to big chain pet stores, your pet is treated like a number and the overall compassion/rapport is not present. Well Shaunte cares about all of the pets that she comes in contact with and it truly shows in her work/artistry that she has a passion and true calling for this. Shaunte is wonderful! I have a stubborn, overweight 3 year old golden retriever & he loves Shaunte. Although, he does resist getting into her truck, getting in to her tub & getting blown out! The only thing he doesn't resist is coming back home!! Shaunte always handles him with love & care!! And he lost 10 lbs in fur!!!! She is my permanent dog groomer! read more

Beware...Absolute Rip Off! Charged me $95 for a 20 pound mini golden doodle and did an awful job. Didn't even do as requested with certain things...left so much fur around the face that her hair goes into her eyes. She will need another haircut very soon because she barely cut the fur around the face. Go elsewhere...I never paid this much for any dog...not even for my big samoyed. She said that she needed two people to hold down a small dog...makes me wonder if they even abused my dog somewhat. read more

The ladies are so sweet, courteous and professional. They did a nail trim on my nervous Shar Pei and the tech was patient with her. They also gave my neighbors chihuahua a nail trim and expressed her glands with ease. It's great for walk-in appts or to schedule in advance! I just adore petting their doggy daycare dogs while I'm waiting. You will be happy with their reasonable rates. They opened in June 2021 and are walking distance from my house so I include the nail trim on a walk and the dog is happy! read more

With 5 furry beasts to manage grooming, Shaunte and The Barking Lot are an absolute necessity in my house. My dogs get to hang in our own house as they take turns in the mobile spa. It's been a lifesaver from a logistics perspective and the cost totally reasonable. Totally worth it!! Shaunte groomed my three dogs for the first time last week. She did an AWESOME job, especially with my very, very furry girl. She is so soft now that she feels like a stuffed animal! Hi, first time here, the groomers are professional friendly patient, there prices are great affordable. Princess don't do well with new groomers, but she loved them we use to go to petco, but we are coming here now, princess has never looked so beautiful has she does now, I recommended this place to friends and family. read more

DANGEROUS. Do Not, not, not, take your furies here. They abuse animals, I experienced first hand when they didnt know I had entered the shop and they were in the back yelling at a persons dog. read more
