I've taken my doggos to get groomed a few times. I don't consistently take them or have a go-to spot though. I was hoping to find something close by, with stellar reviews and reasonable prices. Sunshine Pet Grooming fit the bill! I was able to make an appointment online, which was convenient. They don't seem to have a normal or traditional website for its general information or what not, so you would have to call if you had any specific questions. The overall experience was very positive! The outside of the biz is in an unassuming strip mall , the inside is quaint, but the staff is friendly. Unlike some other groomers I've been to, this one is strictly a groomer and does not have any items for purchase. Our dogs are about medium size, but one has longer hair. For the full deal and deshed it was 140 before tip. They did make me split payments for them, assuming because of the groomers. They also said it may take 3-6 hours for them, which was a bit concerning and I did not want to leave them there that long, but it ended up being about 3 1/2 hours, which was appreciated. Overall, I would definitely return. The dogs felt so clean and smelled wonderful! It was little chaotic at the beginning, but appreciated the outcome for our doggos.

3rd time since May of this year bringing my dog to be groomed here. First time was about a 6 out of 10 but the first time is always tough so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I bring my dog the second time and they do pretty good, about a 8 out of 10. I brought my dog in today, 09/13/2025 for his appt and was communicated about 2-3 hours like it states on the booking. I drop him off at 12pm, I call THEM at 3:30pm asking for any updates. Couldn't provide me a pick up time and that after 3 and a half hours he was only just half way done. No communication from anyone after realizing his grooming was going to be well outside the anticipated time frame. 4pm rolls around and they close at 5pm and still no update after I called them the first time so I drive over there to see what the heck is going on and as I'm walking in he's still getting cut. Over 4 hours at the groomers and still not finished is crazy. Although it took forever and no communication provided the cut was good. His ears were not touched whatsoever though like it clearly states in the description of what is offered and I paid for in full. There is still a bunch of ear wax and the hair is not combed, cut or plucked. I tried this place out because it was close and the reviews are good. Might be misleading because the reviews don't reflect the service. Could be a better investment to drive the extra few minutes or spend an extra 10$ to not deal with this. I'll be going back first thing come 09-15/2025 so they can finish the job on my dog I paid for.

I took my gsd in for her first ever full grooming and this place was wonderful! They did a wonderful job, the employees were so kind which made it easier to leave her because I was very nervous, but I knew my baby was in great hands. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!!

I'm not sure why this place has a single bad review. Found this place randomly while driving by. Was able to get an appointment fast. Mike at the front desk was super friendly, and so were the other ladies that work there. They did a great job with my pup Henry. No nicks anywhere and he seemed relaxed when I picked him up. Great price too. This place checks all the boxes for me. Since this is a family owned business, it's even better. I'll definitely go back.

My wife and I took our two black pugs (under 20 pounds) to get their nails cut. I was greeted with rolling eyes and the sound of multiple dogs from the back crying and howling. When asking for just a nail trim for them both the associate had to go borrow nail clippers due to her not being able to keep track of hers. why am I paying for a service where I have to hold my own dog and leave scratched and bloody? both of them have had their nails cut MANY times with 0 issues, but When calling back to complain I was met with LAUGHTER from the whole staff because she had the call on speaker and lied saying she offered multiple different ways to help and that our small pugs are just too aggressive and that we were rushing her. If you don't love animals nor know how to handle the smallest possible dog go be useless somewhere else :) and to treat PAYING customers that way is terrible when we were nothing but nice. PLEASE DO NOT bring your animals here if you love them even a little bit it's not worth the money or trauma that my poor dogs had to endure. EDIT: TURNS OUT IT WAS THE OWNER WHO PUT US THROUGH THIS PLEASE STAY AWAY!

They do a great job here and my dogs are less stressed out than when I get them home fro. PetSmart. I tried the mobile groomers but the Van's are so hot in the summer and after 4 times of messing up one of my dogs I quit trying the galloping groomers. I'm so happy I found these guys. Everyone is happier.

This place is great! Always a good experience! We always get the Schanuzer cut and they always do a great job! The girls at the front desk are always friendly and check in and out process is quick! Pricing isn't terrible - a little expensive but for something that we do every couple of months, it's worth it! 10/10 would recommend! read more

I took my sheepadoodle here for his first grooming appointment and had such a great experience! He got the cutest teddy bear haircut and they listened to every detail of what I wanted. Everyone was so kind and patient, and the pricing was really reasonable too. He came out looking adorable and so fluffy. Definitely recommend and we'll absolutely be coming back! read more

I am so glad I found Sunshine Pet Grooming. The staff is friendly and respectful. They make my dog comfortable with the grooming process. He looks so handsome, when he leaves. He's very proud of his new bandanna he wears out of the shop. I appreciate the self scheduling on line. The shop is in a good location, easy to get to. Tried this groomer because an old friend recommended it. Was really hoping for a great experience! I should've known by the way the place looked that I'd be wasting my money and my pups would not be well taken care of. I kept saying to myself "Don't judge a book by its cover". So I was like let's give them a try. Unfortunately I judged by the time they took to attend to my 2 pups. They called me an hour after I dropped them off and for a second I thought something was wrong. I answered asked if everything was okay and they mentioned "oh no your pups are fine, but they are ready" I was like Wow that was quick. Usually groomers take a minimum 1-2 hrs per pup. The hair cut looked like it was rushed and their face was uneven. We still tipped because I felt bad for them but I know I will definitely not be returning. Don't waste your time trying them if your looking for a new grooming place! read more

My first time coming here and will DEFINITELY be back!! This is a mother/daughter team who uses "comfort grooming" protocol without the use of restraints. This makes the experience so much less stressful on dogs. They also have calming classical music playing to help with de-stress for both owners and animals. Their gentle approach is appreciated and years of master grooming techniques are apparent. My pup looks amazing and happy! Open and happy environment. Very reasonably priced. We travel around the country in our travel trailer. While in Mesa, AZ we REALLY needed to get our 12 year old Yorkie (Cosmo) groomed, he was way over due. After looking at Yelp and other sources we decided to try Sunshine Pet Grooming. We called and spoke with Lorraine and she was EXTREMELY accommodating. We dropped off Cosmo the following morning and were thrilled to see him when we picked him up a couple of hours later. He looked AWESOME.. He still looks like a puppy when he is cleaned up well. I was trying different grooming places around the valley. So lucky to find the best one is actually closest to my house. She does the best grooming for my mini poodle! Her hours are great and flexible. I schedule ahead but can always get same day appointments. She is friendly, patient and experienced. Plus you can't beat the price! Look no further if you are looking for a stress free, kind, and caring grooming experience for your pup. This was the first time my dog has been professionally shaved/cut, and I was nervous about how he would do. He seemed to add a little fun into the grooming experience, according to the groomers, but I could not be happier with the results! Everyone there is so kind, patient, and thorough! They talked me through everything they had done for him and I even arrived a little early, so I got to watch how sweetly they handled him. He can definitely be a handful with all his energy, but there was no leash used, no muzzle, just full hands on and lots of comfort and kind words for my little guy. He looks like a brand new pup! If i can give this place 0 stars I would, I took my 2 dogs today and honestly can say i will never be coming back here again. I was so excited to see how they came out just to be disappointed. I showed the lady how i wanted it she said that my dogs paws were matted but other then that she would do it like the picture , before leaving them i told the lady to please not put my dogs hair short. A few hours go by and we have to pick them up when i saw my dog i instantly regretted bringing him there. They left him bald with his tail full of hair, his face was uneven and his ears like they just brushed them.The owner proceeded to say she knew i didn't like him with short hair, again if you knew i didn't like it she should've called me or try to do the best they could. Ever since i've picked both of them up my smallest hasn't stopped crying. If you guys love your dogs like if they were your children please don't bring them here . The owner instead of trying to fix the situation she just gave us an attitude. Give us the old owners address for there shop because this place is definitely not some place you'll take your animals. Coming from a business owner my self you should always want your customers to be satisfied. read more

I took my husky and my other little dog I definitely did not like the way it was cut , they cut it a whole different way that I definitely didn't ask for and they still charged me 155$ and managed to give me a attitude I loved the way the old other owners ran this but these new owners terrible customer service and the way they cut dogs hair are not it 0 Rating! The good reviews are from the old owners new owners nothing but bad reviews I'm definitely not coming back to this place waste of time and I rather spend my money somewhere else I'm going to feel satisfied read more

The wash bays easily accommodate his size with room to spare, and their recent remodel made everything even better--more stations and great updates all around. One thing I really appreciate is that there's no extra charge for large dogs, which is "huge" for owners of giant breeds. And every time, the staff kindly offers an extra towel to help get him dried off--such a thoughtful touch! The team here is always friendly and helpful. They walked me through everything on my first visit and recommended products tailored to his skin and coat. We now use the de-shed conditioner and I can honestly say--I notice the difference at home... and so does my vacuum He always comes out looking and smelling great. Sometimes we even add a few spritzes of the doggie cologne when available--such a fun bonus! And of course, no visit is complete without him "convincing" me to grab one of their adorable gourmet dog treats at checkout. They're so cute and perfect for pictures or just spoiling your fur baby a little extra. For my budget-conscious friends--Tuesdays are half-off self-service washes (which is amazing!), just keep in mind it can get a bit busy, especially if it falls on a holiday. Every time I walked into this establishment, I would say hello after going unnoticed. The owner or manager (the one that does the coloring) has looked up at me on several occasions and continued working. There was no hold on, someone will be with you, no smile, nothing. It just doesn't make you feel welcomed there. I give stellar customer service because I appreciate every customer that walks in my establishment. When someone finally comes to the counter, you're rushed. They charge if you're 15 minutes late, but they don't even work on your pet until hours after your appt. I will be finding another groomer that actually welcomes their customers and show their love for your pets.

As someone who isn't familiar with grooming blade lengths, I was expecting a little guidance, but instead, I got attitude. When I picked up my dog, he looked fine at first glance, so I paid and even tipped. However, once we got home, I noticed a trail of blood and found a cut on his back foot. It's hard to believe the groomer didn't see this before handing him back to me. Either they ignored it, or they just weren't paying attention--neither of which is acceptable when working with animals. There was another groomer I saw who was more kind/welcoming but overall just not a good first experience and I won't be returning.

Our dog has been groomed twice with no issue before and she always came out looking spectacular…read more (see the picture) We brought our Golden Doodle (Daisy Mae) to Fuzzy Paws at a friends recommendation. First let me say our Doodle is brushed every day and her hair is fluffy and curly which means you cannot just run a brush or comb through it and she was bathed by us just two days ago. Here is the brush that is used everyday by us: https://www.petsmart.com/dog/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/only-natural-pet-pin-bristle-dog-brush-58150.html I'm wrong but the definition of matted hair doesn't mean you are unable to run a comb through it with no resistance like clean and straight human hair. So about 10 minutes after we drop her off we get a call that her legs are matted and the areas behind her legs are also matted so they need to shave her down to of an inch. The grooming had already started on her body so it was my understanding that we had a couple of options: 1) Not groom her legs, 2) take her as she was, 3) let the grooming continue. Hind sight being perfect we should have had them stop immediately when they said she was matted and gone to pick up our dog. We are not pleased with the outcome as can be seen from the attached photos showing grooming completed by another groomer in May of 2025, a picture before she went to Fuzzy Paws, and when she came home from Fuzzy Paws. Our guess is that they don't want to take the time and do the job correctly but rather say the dog is matted shave them and move on to the next paying customer.

I even asked an employee directly about their care standards, and they admitted they keep reptiles on reptile carpet -- something that is widely known in the reptile community to be unsafe due to: * bacteria buildup * risk of nail/toe injury * unsanitary conditions There was no concern, no accountability, and no effort to improve. Please do your research before supporting this business. No animal deserves to suffer due to neglect like this.

I use to love this groomers when the older lady ran it. Now it is some guy. Never answers the phone. Makes appt. and is never there to keep them. I stood there knocking at the door for 7 minutes and no one answered. The guys truck was there, the lights were on, but no one answered. Went back to my car to bring my dog back home and watched him come out slowly look around and go to his car a drive away. My dog now cries and shakes when we pull into the parking lot. I thought it was because he does not like men. Now I wonder. Trust your dog people. Trust me. This place is no good. read more
