2023.APRIL13- Maya looking beautiful!! Thank you Jennifer & Emma :-) My Tia/aunt has taken her dogs here and recommended that I bring my dog here as well. I'm very happy with her grooming! Maya looks so cute! It's her first time getting a professional groom. I look forward to bringing her in the future as well!! Jennifer was so kind to recommend I bring my dog in to meet with her, the staff and check out the grooming salon before I actually bring Maya in for her appointment. To get Maya acclimated with being dropped off the following day :-) I highly recommend bringing your dog here as well. Your dog will look beautiful and great but most of all Jennifer and her staff are thoughtful & kind!! Your pups are in good hand here! read more

Trim Time Pet Grooming - After his grooming! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Trim Time is in a tiny little strip mall, right next to the beautiful Wright house on University in Mesa. The girl's up front are very nice. They have about twenty cages in a separate room to the side for dog drop offs. The sink area in the rear seems nice, all of the dogs were quiet and seemed happy. I only had my dog's nails and expression done. Ten bucks a piece, nice that they do ala carte. They gave my girl a christmas collar too! Very nice and clean. read more

I feel as though I have written a review of Trim Time before - but I guess not. Better late than never. Jennifer rocks. No, really. She, and the rest of her staff at Trim Time are awesome. I like my dogs groomed a certain way - instructions for which I gave Jennifer on our very first visit when the pups were mere weeks old. They are now three years old, and they are always groomed impeccably on every visit, with no reminders of my expectations. (Apparently, Jennifer is either a genius memory savant, or they write it down... I think it is probably the former.) My husband can take the dogs in and not worry that I won't be happy with the results. Not only is Trim Time awesome, but they give back too. Jennifer has an animal rights blog, and at least twice over the time we have been going there has had charity events (One is coming up on Friday July 3rd!) If you are looking for a groomer, and you live in the greater Southwestern United States, Jennifer is your woman. I think I would take the dogs to her even if I lived in San Diego. Seriously, she is that good. read more

My little buddy Velcro is really picky about who touches him. He has never had his hair done any other place but Trim Time. I have known Jennifer (and her family) for about 9 years now and would recommend her to anyone (and I do!). We trust her and the cuts are always perfect. The staff is friendly, the shop is clean and very modern. I will not take my kid to any other shop! read more

Checking back in and still loving the work that Jennifer and her team do with my big baby of an Aussie. She has moved further east, and is now at Greenfield and University. Jennifer has always listened to my concerns and answered every question thoroughly. I continue to recommend! read more

Today I took my two dogs in to be bathed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. One of my dogs is terrified of water and becomes aggressive when you try to bathe her. Kristy and the ladies here were willing to give it a try. Without incident they were able to bathe her. In addition to them being able and willing to work with my dog, they had both dogs done and absolutely beautiful in a shorter time than I have ever experienced at a groomer. They were friendly And communicative. My dogs are both horrible shedders, they gave them a treatment to remove the undercoat and I am so thrilled with the result. Both my girls are barely shedding now. I can't say enough positives about this place. They also donated a portion of the money I paid them to charity at the end. Thank you all so much for the wonderful experience today. You have my continued business. read more

I love Trim Time! My dog, like many others, is a big baby - especially when it comes to bathing, nail-cutting, etc. He's just too much for me to handle and so I searched and searched for a good groomer I could trust with my sweet boy. I found Trim Time and couldn't be happier. They are friendly, clean (which is saying a lot for a dog grooming place, I've discovered), gentle with my boy and take the time to get to know you, as the client and your dog. I really just couldn't be any happier with their services. They are reasonably priced too and don't charge extra for nail-trimming and such PLUS they are extremely accommodating with schedules. I drive 20 minutes to take my Lloyd there even though there are a dozen or so groomers in my immediate vicinity. You won't be disappointed! read more

Still love this place! Very friendly, and I love supporting local business'. My dog looks and smells amazing every time we come here, and she doesn't mind getting groomed at all. I also love that they are extremely affordable too. read more

My doggies were smelling good after! The people here are pros, will definitely be taking them back.

I just moved to the East side, and I switched groomers because I could tell my first east side groomer didn't like my dog. I'm so happy I brought my pomeranian here. Turns out my dog has developed a cage aggression problem that I was not aware of. Whether it developed because of the previous groomer, I don't know, but I was never told about it. Trim Time called me to get her out of her cage for them. I am so glad they did, because I would much rather do that than have my dog get stressed out or have a person get hurt. I waited there for the rest of the groom in case there were any more problems. Thank goodness there weren't. There's a nice, laid back atmosphere and a bunch of dog lovers there. When I left, I could tell my dog enjoyed her grooming, which she had always done before my last groomer. Thank you ladies. We'll definitely be back. read more

I took two of my pups here a few months back. One was a newly rescued poodle from the pound and she was matted and a handful. I know it could not have been easy handling her, but she came back shaved and beautiful. What hair they were able to salvage looked great and you could tell she felt like a million bucks. They got my dogs in an out on schedule and their pricing was very accurate to what they have posted on their website. I also love that this place advocates for animal rescue. I will be returning to Trim Time for all of my future dog grooming needs. read more

I have been a Trim Time client for 15 + years. We have had 4 golden retrievers who all have had EXCELLENT care and grooming. I value Jenniferr and her staff so much that I drive 13-15 miles to her studio every 3 weeks! My dogs love to go to Trim Time and come back looking beautiful! They are gorgeous thanks to their care! I will never go anywhere else. read more

Awesome place!Great care and concern for your pet. Been going for many years! The BEST!

Our dog Gracie has never looked better! Over the years we've been to three different groomers prior to Trim Time. She definitely looks and smells the best after getting trimmed at Trim Time. We've referred several friends there and they've all been very happy. read more

We have been taking our 2 mini poodles to Trim Time for several months now, and will not go anywhere else now. I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff or services offered. My dogs are not stressed when I pick them up, which is amazing! They come home happy, smelling good and looking fantastic. They still look great 4-6 weeks later when the haircuts are growing out. My boys have never looked so good. One of my dogs is an excitable urinator had has peed on Jennifer more than once - not a problem! Skippy & Milo have thier furever groomer! Jennifer and her staff are professional, caring and friendly. I get appointments when I need them, never any hassle. Convenient location too! All this being said, I highly reccomend Trim Time. read more

The groomers and especially the owner are top notch and consistently so. For many years I had my own grooming shop and so I know first hand what a difficult job it can be. Not all dogs behave or love being groomed and to find a way to get it done can certainly be a challenge. They find a way, meet the challenge, my dogs looked great. As a previous owner of another pet salon for many years I know what to look for and that is why I chose Trim Time. You should too. read more

I'm really bummed to have a negative attitude about this place. My dog may not be the easiest to groom and barks when he is nervous and uncomfortable. But being in a grooming business I would assume that this is expected out of some dogs and is something that you should be skilled to handle. The lady that groomed him, unfortunately she never introduced herself so I don't even know her name, called me when my dog was being close to finished and added he was causing a lot of noise. When I arrived to pick him up she ended up telling me he was not welcomed back because of his barking. He is a dog and dogs bark, is my thought when she said this. She made it very uncomfortable at this point and continued on to say she wasn't able to cut his nails or trim around his face. I was still charged full price. My dog has been groomed 10 or more times since he was a puppy and this is the first time anyone has complained this much about him. Most groomers would joke and say he sang to them during his groom and that he was a sweet boy. I'm not sure what was so different with this groomer and why she only had negative things to say about him. Which made me sad to hear. I was really excited about this place because it was close to my house and has such great reviews. I was going to schedule my other 2 dogs to have a groom as well but unfortunately I'll have to look elsewhere because of my experience I had today. I wish I had better things to say but I'm just really disappointed. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I'm extremely picky when it comes to my puppies, they deserve the best lol. I've been to MANY groomers searching for a punctual, compassionate, and EDUCATED place to take my guys, and finally my hard work paid off:) I base my reviews on this criteria: 1) The groomer is honest (if its gonna take 5-6 hrs let me know!!!) and personable. 2) How they act when I get them back. 3) Not only how they look the day they came back BUT ALSO how they look in 2 weeks. With that said, as i dropped them off and specified what they needed she was very attentive on everything I said and actually brought up things I didn't even think required that much attention. She told me it would be about 3-4 hrs and if it took longer she would give me a call. YAY!! I didn't have to wait all day wondering!!! They came back looking happy and amazing, ears cleaned (you have no idea how hard its been to find someone who ACTUALLY does that, not just say they do). Nails perfect, everything. Now usually I'll get them back from groomers, and in 1 week they look stringy and disheveled??? (btw they are indoor dogs) they shouldn't look worse 1 week after COMING HOME from the groomers, than they did going in. (it happened alot) my guess is it is cheap shampoo the other groomers use because its been 4 WEEKS and I just now have to schedule another appointment. All and all, I love this place, will never go anywhere else, I and my pups are hooked:) read more

I too didn't want to leave a negative comment, but Jennifer did in another response say the truth was best. I took my 2 cats here to have their nails trimmed. One is 9 mos old and the other is 7 yrs old. They are both non aggressive and loving cats. No known behavioral issues in either. My older cat hasn't left the house in many years, so I am sure this was harder on her than the younger one. But you would think a groomer would know this about cats and take extra care. But because of arthritis in my hands and no help holding her I found someone to do it. I get there and Jennifer (doesn't introduce herself) takes my older cat first. While I am sitting in the little lobby all the sudden there is a commotion in the back and I see through the glass. Jennifer comes out and my cat scratched her. I look through the door the goes to the back and my poor cat was up on top of 6ft of stacked kennels scared out of her wits. The racket was her trying to find safety in an unfamiliar place. Jennifer was bleeding from a scratch, but only was concerned for herself at that time which didn't make me happy. Another gal had to climb up there with a blanket to get my scared cat down. From what I understood, Jennifer was rushing around my cat, (obviously in a hurry) so it must have freaked my cat out. But, when both cats were done. The other gal came out and dealt with me and you could tell she felt really bad. I was pretty worried about my cat freaking out and climbing those kennels and if she hurt herself, not to mention scared out of her mind. I am assuming she was not handled carefully enough. Jennifer never came out and apologized or anything. That was on 5/ 14/15, 6 days ago. The past week I have been worried about my older cat as she has not left the dark corner of a room we don't use. This was not like her. Every day I would try coaxing her out. When I lift her and brought her to another room, she went straight back in there. I don't know if she was eating or drinking as they are right by the room, but she never comes out. It just never dawned on me until today that her visit to Trim Time has to be the reason for her current behavior. Nothing else abnormal has happened, so why does she seem lifeless and depressed. She was traumatized by her visit with Jennifer of course. That is the only thing it could be... I am sickened that Jennifer seemed to have no concern for my cat when this happened. Yes she got a good jab with her claw. But if she was being handled gently like an elder cat should, I don't blame my cat. Jennifer was only concerned for herself and not my cat. So I do see what the other poster is saying about her being burned out and doesn't care. It was evident in her response to what happened. The reason I did give 2 stars is because she did slow it down and finished both cats. Also, the red headed gal who helped her deserves ALOT of credit. I appreciate her help as she showed much more concern and ended up handling the situation because Jennifer obviously couldn't. I may not have posted this, but after figuring out that this is why my cats behavior has drastically changed made me post. read more

Awesome ! Super nice staff, accurate pricing and timing. My dog was perfect when he was all done there . Def. will be going back .

STILL going here w/ our dog. STILL getting the same great, friendly, pet-friendly, attentive service. These folks are the real deal and worth every penny and more. They go above and beyond: emailing appt. updates, working with your schedule, taking cute holiday pics with the pets, treating the pets so nicely, and the shop is always pristine. Curry says, "Thank you, Trim Time!!!" read more

After a little breakfast excursion and chatting with a lady in a coffee shop who recommended Trim Time, I had an unfortunate falling out with a Petsmart manager regarding customer service. So after being treated like my dog wasn't a regular at their groomers, I decided to call up Trim Time and see what they are about. After a brief discussion of what had happened, I was then told the philosophy at Trim Time was to make every customer happy. I'm not a special needs kind of person but I do expect a little discretion when it comes to how I handle business and the lady I spoke with made me completely comfortable with dropping the Petsmart groomers like the bad habit they were. I made an appointment immediately and have a feeling this is the start of a great new relationship with my teacup yorkie and her new groomers! Looking forward to another review after Princess gets taken care of so I can let everyone know what up with this place! read more
