I pointed it out immediately, right as the plate was being put down. I got an "I'll..." and the employee walked away, never to be seen again. No potatoes, no follow-up, no apology, nothing. Mistakes happen. What really made the experience unpleasant was the attitude and complete lack of effort to correct the mistake. When you're dining with a group, you expect basic courtesy and service, not to feel like you're inconveniencing the staff by sitting together. Unfortunately, the food wasn't enough to overcome the service experience. The attitude was the most memorable part of the meal.

Miriam is super thorough and was so considerate of my ever-changing requests. I landed on 2 dozen-- 8 sets of 3 custom cookies each. On delivery day, the cookies were delivered promptly within my requested window. She even included extras which I was so grateful for-- they were devoured immediately (so. good.). I assumed that the cookies would be bundled in a simple cellophane bag, but these were individually wrapped and THEN carefully packaged in these adorable boxes. Just above and beyond.
