    Chicken Caesar Salad.

The bagel corner always has people inside, especially around breakfast time. The gentleman who took my order was helpful and professional. I noticed that he was managing other employees and ensuring they prepared the orders correctly. I love to see that. I ordered a supreme breakfast burrito with two meats, ham and chorizo, and cheese, with papas and a Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was a good-sized portion--literally enough to feed three people. I had two bowls of it and saved the rest for the next day, finishing it all! It cost $15, but the presentation could have been better with fresh lettuce. The croutons tasted a bit soggy, but overall, I really enjoyed the salad, and the chicken tasted like blackened chicken. My family also got bigger sandwiches, and they said it was good--a decent-sized portion. The only issue was that the fountain machine was out of many drinks, but I get it. It gets busy, and everyone's trying to make sure orders are being handled efficiently. The atmosphere is mid. Everyone is just trying to eat some good food, that's the vibe I get. The customers have always been nice. Every time I've been there, I haven't encountered a rude person.

    Italian Herb Bagel

    * Had a coworker offer to pick me up a bagel from here since I've never stopped by and I was pleasantly surprised. * The Italian herb bagel SO GOOD. I haven't had a bagel so well seasoned and all of the ingredients were really fresh. * From what I've heard, the staff is friendly and the service is quick (when it's not extremely packed). I would definitely stop by again in person in the future! :)

Berry Bagel with Honey Walnut Cream Cheese*

The Bagel Corner is one of my favorite places to go to when i'm in Salinas. I can't wait to go back and get it again. The service is very good and online ordering is super easy. I think it's a great place to enjoy a bagel or take to go. It does get pretty busy during peak hours so ordering ahead might be the best move. My favorites have to be the turkey, egg and cheese bagel and the berry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. There are so many bagel and cream cheese options so you'll be sure to find something delicious. Definitely a place to check out if you're looking for a delicious bagel or sandwich.

Recently discovered this gem and had a great experience both times. Tried their breakfast burrito on my first visit, and the bagel breakfast sandwich on my second. Both were delicious and filling! The staff was super friendly and offered fantastic customer service--something you don't see enough of these days. Highly recommend and will be back!

    Where's the cream cheese?

More bread than Cream Cheese, is always a bummer! For $5 dollars I would like more cream cheese please, thanks! Also, if I ask for only butter on my bagel and it's dry because there's no butter, that is also a bummer! It can't cost you that much to put more butter, thanks!

    Strawberry Jam*

I came to enjoy a nice snack and I got the strawberry Jam. The service was nice the cashier was very cool and understanding. The mood of the place was calm and it was a nice place. My only concern was what I ordered. I got the Strawberry Jam and the strawberries are flavorless. I expected more out of my order. Please do better.

Very little if any cream cheese filling

This is a wonderful cafe. Breakfast burritos are a must if you are on the hungrier side or can't go wrong with a simple coffee and a bagel.

Brewjee Coffee is where you can find decadent coffee and matcha drinks. They have a variety of…read moresyrups and foam tops to create unique drinks. This is definitely not a place you'd go to for simple espresso drinks. We were content with our drinks: Curious George (mocha with banana cold foam), For the Girls (cold brew with strawberry cold foam), and Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. The flavors came out as expected, but it is was on the sweeter side. The drinks here are on the pricier side. Each of our 16 oz drinks were over $10 after tax and tip. They offer larger cups too around 24oz, similar to a Venti from Starbucks. Given the price only, it's hard for me to justify repeat visits. The store itself is tiny. There is no room for you to sit down and enjoy your drink. The staff were great. They were kind and very attentive despite being very busy when we went. I'd only come if I'm craving their specialty drinks.

For quality and originality of drinks definitely would give 5/5. No issues here whatsoever. I've…read moreonly done their specialty iced drinks and have yet to try a normal brew coffee. Pricing 3/5 stars for two medium drinks it cost $19 and to be quite frank, they pour a ton of ice! Literally 1/2 the cup and even sometimes, 3/4 of the cup will be with ice. This GREATLY reduces how much of the drink you are actually receiving. What's even more comical is if you ask for light ice they CHARGE you ¢50 more per drink the reasoning is "we are putting more milk and product". Come on, in all honesty you guys are just being stingy af. You already put very little product for these overpriced drinks, that do taste good, not gonna lie. This makes me only wanna come here maybe 1x a month as instead of more often. I understand that everything is expensive but overcharging your customers and trying to get over on them by creating the illusion that they are receiving large amounts that is magnified from the amount of ice you put is disappointing.

OVERALL: Kind of reminds me of the local Suju's in Fremont (where I'm from), as their local go to coffee in Salinas that's more concentrated in espresso complexity. CUBANITO: Their specialty! Only 8oz with 3 shots of espresso, turbinado sugar, and milk...can modify level of sweetness. However person for which this drink was for states it's still overly sweet. CARAMEL Macchiato: Made me sad that it wasn't authentic as milk should be first then the shots of espresso so there's two layers (that's why I secretly wanted this drink). Then a drizzle of caramel. Tastes like a caramel macchiato, nonetheless. ***overall, their coffee is good with a smooth flavor profile and no bitter undertones or after taste, equating to high quality beans*** SERVICE: They are so sweet, kind, and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. Very splendid seeing a group of Spanish speaking ladies going strong at it! AMBIANCE: Casual, local coffee joint that's mainly enjoyed by the Hispanic community. Bathroom available. WiFi available. Very clean. Very modern decor. Two outdoor tables. Multiple indoor seating options. Located in the Safeway plaza with a multitude of establishments, stores, Jamba Juice, services, etc. Very large private parking lot. In the suburbs. Would I come back? Probably not.

I…read moregrew up in Salinas and always remember this place being busy and thought of in high regard by pretty much all the locals. Being back in town, I had to give it a try after 15+ years being away. What a let down honestly. We were seated right away which was appreciated. It was about 10am on a Wednesday and we arrived just before the big rush it seemed. To drink, we ordered waters and orange juice and coffee. A whole coffee carafe was left on our table which was a bit of a surprise and the orange juice as advertised tasted freshly squeezed. Before ordering our food, my husband began asking the waiter about gluten free pancakes or waffles (since such was advertised online in a review from 11yrs ago) and before he could even finish the question the waiter cut him off to explain all the pancake and waffle options. My husband kindly asked again and was told they didn't have any specific gluten free options. That's ok, he ordered their Bacado omelette and instead of toast on the side he asked for a side of fruit. I ordered their Cinnamon Bread French Toast and a side of 1 scrambled egg and 1 sausage. I was told the sausage only comes in 2 or 4, and so I chose 2. When the food arrived, I immediately thought this all looks ok. And the taste was just the same. The omelette was not fluffy like you'd expect a highly rated restaurant omelette to be. The side of fruit came in a condiment cup and had 1 grape as well as 3 pieces of other fruit. The hash browns were sad looking, pretty pale and absolutely no crunch. My husband even added salt which was sad and rare to watch him do. My French toast was ok, kind of soggy and didn't have any caramelization or crunch on the outside whatsoever. It's definitely cinnamon toast vs a cinnamon roll French toast and was nothing special. The sausage was the best part which says a lot. I wouldn't come back here because there's infinitely better options minutes away.
