Grinch Matcha Drink and Santa cookie!
    Merlissa A.

Oh my goodness! BREWJEE! If you are ever in salinas, and need your coffee/ matcha/ pastry + drink fix definitely check this tiny but mighty cafe place out! Drink thoughts: I'm a matcha fanatic and those around me are coffee connoisseurs and every time I go here I legit get a different drink. If you realllyyyy want my opinion though and want a matcha drink- get the King Kong Matcha or the Matcha with Cookie Butter! (But seriously, any drink you get is gucci.) For the holidays, you know they had to give us something good! I tried both the Grinch Matcha and Santa Cookie drink and it tastes like Christmas holiday cosy vibes but iced lol. Parking: There is a parking site close by but it can be tight! (Per usual in downtown salinas) Vibes: Immaculate (I need a brewjee sweater / t-shirt now. Brewjee, please please consider multiplying and expanding across salinas citizens!

Came here because of the great reviews! As soon as we walked in, the barista greeted us right away. Since it was a Sunday morning, there was a bit of a wait, but nothing too bad. This was our first time visiting, so I was excited to try this cute little coffee shop. They had plenty of options--I went with the "Go Bananas," and it was amazing. I also ordered a warmed blueberry lemon loaf, and it was everything I hoped for. The only reasons I'm not giving 5 stars are that the woman taking our order didn't seem very friendly, and the price was a bit steep--a small drink was over $9, which felt like a lot.

The place was trendy and surprisingly busy for 8 a.m. on a Thursday morning, definitely seems to be a hot spot for students from the nearby campus. I loved the fun and creative drink names, and the presentation of my coffee looked great in pictures, but the flavor didn't quite live up to the look. The pastries were interesting, the matcha strawberry one was a unique concept and tasted good, and my daughter really enjoyed her Dubai chocolate themed croissant. Overall, Brewjie Coffee has a cool vibe and creative menu, but for me, the coffee itself was just okay.

10/10 recommend if you are in downtown and have some time to wait since this spot is always packed. Check their IG for drinks that aren't on the menu for fall. Favs are 1) Cookie butter latte w cookie butter coldfoam 2) fruity pebbles matcha

This is a local family owned coffee shop which is wayyy better than big corporate chains @mermaid coffee ya know who I meannn. I come in here so often because of how amazingggg their coffee is. All the girls working are always super sweet and the owner is there pretty often which I love to see when owners are actively working with the employees rather than just overseeing them. It's Super tiny and parking can be a pain but to be honest it's worth it for me. They use very high quality products and I can just tell they are going to end up opening more Brewjee coffee shops in the near future. They have to! There is usually always a line out the door so our demand must be met by more supply!!!!!! lol. I just really really hope they don't stop using quality products because that's genuinely what makes their coffee so different. One time a cappuccino I ordered for my grandma didn't have the latte art and the owner told me to wait and he's make me a new one on the house so I would have a pretty design to take to my grandma. This is a top tier service coffee shop. The only two coffee shops I spend my hard earned money at is this one and tram coffee when in San Jose. I can wait to see more brewjees open up! 1000/5 stars!

We were staying at the Hampton Inn Salinas, and even though there's a Starbucks right in the lot, we decided to support a local small business instead. I'm glad we did because it turned out to be one of the best decisions we had such a great experience that we came back the very next day! They offer plenty of fun flavors with creative twists, and the girls working there were all super sweet and helpful! Drink Local!

Stopped in yesterday to find such a fun little shop with delicious coffee and snacks! The barista suggested a house latte with vanilla cold foam since I usually have a pretty basic order. It was so good that I came back for a second larger one an hour later. I also ordered a pop tart to snack on and thought it was so good. I would love to try more the next time I'm around

Finally a good coffee spot in Salinas!! I have to stop at Brewjee whenever I'm home visiting fam. I've only ever gotten the same drink (which is $9 ) but I can't wait to try their seasonal drinks soon! They always have a line and even with multiple people working bar, they are pretty slow. I'd say it's worth the wait. It does suck that they have such a small inside space so everyone has to wait outside in the cold (I always go in the morning so it's colddd). I've had my drink made wrong once and they just put it in a new cup and gave it back to me For such an expensive drink it sucks that they didn't take the extra bit to remake it, especially since it was their fault the order was wrong. So I can't say their service is *amazing*. But they have a huge menu so you shouldn't have a problem concocting a coffee that meets your standards.

Customer service was absolutely incredible! The coffee shop was decorated so cute for the holiday season, and very clean! Everyone working was so kind, and very helpful to explain the options as a first time customer! Their coffee and iced tea is delicious! They also have 4 sugar free options!

While visiting my brother Michael in Salinas, my sister in law Cindy took me to this little coffee shop in Old Town. It was such an adorable little shop. They had a nice variety of coffees and fresh pasties. The young girl who took our order greated us with a smile. We both had the brown sugar shaken iced espresso. I have to say it was one the best coffees I have had in a long time. I also tried their chocolate croissant. It was so moist and flaky. It had the right amount of creamy chocolate too. If they had one of these in Florida I would be regular.

Got a large fruity pebbles matcha. The staff was nice. The vibes were very chill and earthy and dark. The matcha itself was decent. Would I go back yes, is it my favorite? No. Over all one of the better matcha spots I've tried here in Salina's. I tend to like mine on the sweeter side but something about the matcha felt very chalky and milky but I did also order a huge one to last me all day . Over all not bad which is why I have it the rating. I also got an almond croissant that was very delicious. Tasted fresh and powdered to perfection. I would definitely go back for that pastry

Great coffee joint! Very unique flavor profiles that you won't find anywhere else. I've tried 2 different drinks. One was too sweet - Triple B, the other one was just right - Go Bananas. Great customer service. They are open from 6am-8pm, making it convenient for your caffeine needs (I believe the other coffee shops downtown are closed before they are). Wait time can vary depending on the day/time you arrive. Most I waited was 30 mins. Keep in mind that this is a very popular coffee joint. They have loyal customers, and most people order more than 2 drinks at a time. So you do have to be patient. They do not have restrooms available. Location is not great. Parking may also be difficult to find as they are in a popular area. Pricing is definitely high. I myself paid almost $9 for a large coffee (but I won't find this flavor profile at Starbucks). I see them as a sweet treat that I can get here and then. It's definitely a must try spot.

This place is overhyped. Drinks were mid. 5/10 rating. Much rather go to Starbucks. This place won't be seeing my coins anymore. (Drinks around $10 each, got two drinks and one pastry $25)

Delicious and unique for the price. I would go to the hospital when they only had a mobile cart and am happy to see them succeed.

OVERALL: Kind of reminds me of the local Suju's in Fremont (where I'm from), as their local go to coffee in Salinas that's more concentrated in espresso complexity. CUBANITO: Their specialty! Only 8oz with 3 shots of espresso, turbinado sugar, and milk...can modify level of sweetness. However person for which this drink was for states it's still overly sweet. CARAMEL Macchiato: Made me sad that it wasn't authentic as milk should be first then the shots of espresso so there's two layers (that's why I secretly wanted this drink). Then a drizzle of caramel. Tastes like a caramel macchiato, nonetheless. ***overall, their coffee is good with a smooth flavor profile and no bitter undertones or after taste, equating to high quality beans*** SERVICE: They are so sweet, kind, and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. Very splendid seeing a group of Spanish speaking ladies going strong at it! AMBIANCE: Casual, local coffee joint that's mainly enjoyed by the Hispanic community. Bathroom available. WiFi available. Very clean. Very modern decor. Two outdoor tables. Multiple indoor seating options. Located in the Safeway plaza with a multitude of establishments, stores, Jamba Juice, services, etc. Very large private parking lot. In the suburbs. Would I come back? Probably not.
