Sausage breakfast burrito
Sara M.

My usual childhood favorite is their pizza bagel However, I tried their breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint. $10 and the inside are in nice chunks #Yummy

Best bagels hands down in Monterey Peninsula. If they were in Carmel By the Sea or Monterey their prices will be double. The service is prompt and friendly. There is no seating inside but if you want a bagel or a bagel sandwich this place is great . The cashier was very thoughtful about packaging the food and asked if I need knives. She the gave me a cardboard tray in addition to the bags to carry everything. What a great service.

Marina omelette? 1 out of 5.

Pictures on the menu do not reflect what you get. The Breakfast bagels are below average quality for high dollar price. We could have gone to a sit down breakfast anywhere in monterey and paid the same. The coffee was terrible and the bagel had one piece of onion, and one piece of pepper on it for their marina omelette. Not to mention the coffee is garbage. Do not recommend. Will not be returning. Staff also not very welcoming or kind. If you want to pay $40 for gas station quality breakfast and sub par service, this is your place.

Vietnamese ice coffee

If I can it a zero I would but I can't so you get a one star! I used to like this place but it had been really bad I asked for a medium size Vietnamese iced coffee, but I want the ice on the side and I will pay for the extra cup with ice. They said we can't do that but I've been doing it for months now. I told the lady that it is not going to make a medium size that she Charged me for and she said it will!! I PAID A MEDIUM AND GOT A SMALL!! This is really outrageous and nasty I will never come back again or tell my friends and family not to go!!!!

Remaking size of breakfast burrito after the poor tasting potatoes were removed.

Normally we've had a good experience here, but today was the exception. Perhaps it was foolish to order a breakfast burrito, but hey, they offer them. The pictures depict crispy "tater tot" style potatoes in the burrito, but what in fact was in it were diced red potatoes that are probably bought frozen and only thawed to put in the burritos. Besides the b terrible texture, they tasted bad, as in "turned" bad, like they don't get rotated out enough when not used in a timely manner. As you see from the photos the burrito consisted of a massive amount of potatoes in relation to eggs and sausage. Lessons learned.

Inside area. Order at end, pay in the middle

The reviews were pretty mixed about this place, but I still wanted to try it. Wasn't really impressed, my burrito was on the pricey side and it was ok. Pretty busy inside, more of a place to sit and chat or grab and go. Line was a bit messy as there was a paying space in the middle, but you're supposed to order at the end, then move to the middle. People were confused. I ordered a sausage, egg, and potato burrito with bacon. It filled me up, but for $13 could've been bigger. It did get made pretty fast though. The bacon was extra crispy and felt like it was going to cut my throat.

Salmon and onion omelette on everything bagel

I used to live in Marina and loved visiting. My family also loved to visit and take home bagels and cream cheese with them. I went a few weeks ago and was happy to see they now take credit in addition to cash and the menu was much bigger than before. They now have many options for bagel sandwiches, burritos, and other food. My one star off is for the lack of clarity of where to line up to order and they now have chai latte coffee but no chai latte tea.

Burnt apple fritters.. why sell them to customers who won't enjoy them? If it's burnt, don't sell it. Won't be back

Upon my arrival, I was greeted and helped. I had a nice conversation with the lady that helped me. Donuts were good and fairly priced.

Very tasty bagel sandwiches. Egg, sausage and cheese on an onion bagel for the win. Bring cash to save a credit card service charge.

There was a minor snafu with the tasting box which was easily fixed and they still offered the tasting box to us free of charge which they didn't have to do. Each flavor we tried was delicious but we ultimately landed on the espresso decadence flavor which was a hit at our wedding. Tart + Tin then designed the wedding cake to look just like one of my inspo photos and worked with our florist to have flowers added on top. It was a 10/10 experience and I can't recommend their services enough for anyone in the Marina or Monterey area.

I am usually not a fan of raspberry, yet this was the first raspberry cake I truly enjoyed and even wanted more of. The fresh lemon tier was beyond words, absolutely delicious! From start to finish, the team at Tart and Tin was wonderful to work with. Their communication was clear, they were timely, and they delivered exactly what was promised. Our bride shared the design inspiration with them, and they executed it beautifully, creating a cake that was both stunning and memorable. As wedding planners, we are always thrilled to work with vendors who go above and beyond. Tart and Tin truly shines in both design and flavor, and we cannot recommend them highly enough to couples who want a wedding cake that is every bit as beautiful as it is delicious.

I was genuinely impressed by how much it's been updated. The remodel looks great -- the new flooring alone makes the whole space feel cleaner and more modern. The front entrance feels more open now, and I love that the cold goods are immediately to the right when you walk in, which makes browsing much easier. They've also expanded their selection quite a bit, especially when it comes to Filipino desserts and breads. Seeing items from Valerio's Bake Shop was such a nice surprise and brought back even more memories. On top of that, they often have a variety of "exotic" fruits displayed out front, which is always fun to browse and not something you find at basic grocery stores. It still has that familiar, comforting neighborhood market feel -- just refreshed and elevated. If you grew up shopping here like I did, or if you're looking for a solid local spot for Filipino ingredients, desserts, and unique produce, this market is absolutely worth a visit.
