Came back for my order that was wrong to start of order was paid for again for 1 of the items yes paid again!! anyways never will I be back here NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Work on that!!!! La Plaza Bakery is fantastic! They have fresh bread daily, and all the food is delicious. I went in for an al pastor burrito, which was packed and very filling. I couldn't resist the tres leches cake--it was moist, not too sweet, and not overly soaked like most. The recent expansion was much needed since it's always busy. The staff is great and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Why 4 stars.. Because this place is bomb... it's so good. Why not 5 then you say.. Well I always order Green Enchiladas here they are soooo good, with sour cream, avocado, cabbage, tomatoes they are the best. However today I went to order my usual and nobody said a thing about the recipe changing, which would be fine if it wouldn't involve roasted jalapeños as the sauce. This is what I got, it was so spicy it was inedible. Nose runny, eyes watery, and utter misery. I tried to take the peppers out. But how? It's the sauce, I am thinking they ran out of green sauce and mashed some roasted peppers to make them ‍ why not tell me they ran out and make them red. Utter utter misery and still hungry and back at work so unable to get anything else to eat. I also called to let them know. Keep going here, it's awesome. Just please ask what there sauce is made of, hopefully you don't get roasted peppers.

I've been here before, no or short line to get your favorite Mexican bread. They had my favorite kind too.

I RECOMMEND! I try to go every Sunday morning i love the freshness and how good everything is. The service is good I think they recognize me since I go pretty often. It's nice the area is very beautiful!

Clean place with great Mexican food options.

Bread is relatively expensive compared to other panaderias. Food sold here is good. Try the Tortas and the bolillos (rolls)

Even arriving close to closing, we were met with exceptional customer service, a thoughtfully designed menu, delightful pairings, and truly outstanding espresso. It's a rare and wonderful experience to feel so completely taken care of, and this café delivers it effortlessly.

The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, with trendy décor that is very appealing to the eye. When I arrived, it was a little challenging to find the full menu, and I wasn't greeted right away. However, I understand places can get busy, so I didn't let that affect my overall impression too much. I ordered the Panini Caprese sandwich, and my son ordered the Caesar salad wrap. My sandwich didn't look quite as full as the photo, but honestly, the flavor made up for it. It was delicious with great texture, and I loved every bite. I also appreciated that it came with pickled jalapeños on the side, which was a nice extra touch since I love adding those to sandwiches. My son rated his wrap a 3 out of 5. He felt there wasn't much chicken inside, and there also wasn't much Caesar dressing, so it mostly tasted like a wrap with lettuce. It would have been a much better experience if they had included more chicken and Caesar dressing on the side to add more flavor. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try this place again because I really enjoyed my sandwich and the café itself has such a cute, cozy vibe.

OVERALL: Kind of reminds me of the local Suju's in Fremont (where I'm from), as their local go to coffee in Salinas that's more concentrated in espresso complexity. CUBANITO: Their specialty! CARAMEL Macchiato: Made me sad that it wasn't authentic as milk should be first then the shots of espresso so there's two layers (that's why I secretly wanted this drink). Then a drizzle of caramel. Tastes like a caramel macchiato, nonetheless. ***overall, their coffee is good with a smooth flavor profile and no bitter undertones or after taste, equating to high quality beans*** SERVICE: They are so sweet, kind, and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. Anyways, im so glad my coworkers told Me about this place because it's been a nice addition to my frequent-places-to-visit-on-the-regular list. Honestly there is nothing I've had from this place that isn't good. From their lemonades, coffee, smoothies to their avocado toast, wraps, sandwiches, and cookies. They really nailed down their menu options! Not to mention the biggest thing, their staff is super friendly, welcoming and patient when you're trying to decide what to order. They may be located by the courthouse in Salinas but don't let that stop you for visiting.
