My son suggested coming here and it was way better than I thought it was going to be for many reasons. 1st and foremost Lexi, who was our server, was so gracious & super attentive to my grandson, who's 4, & can be handful. She spoke to him directly, & it was what he needed to feel seen, & he was better after that,&her confirmation that they indeed serve French fries. What a gem! 2nd, the food didnt disappoint! The brussel sporuts where delicious, my shrimp po boy with collard greens as my side was so good, & they dont skimp on the shrimp, they wouldn't even stay in the roll! So good. Our server was energetic and attentive. Sweet potato waffle fries ($2 upcharge) had potential, if they weren't mostly burnt. We split a burger and an entree salad, but they gave us two side salads instead of the main portion we ordered (and were charged for); I would imagine the entree portion was larger- but I could be wrong.... But I did want my salad. Waters stayed full, air conditioning was cold. Kinda noisy inside even though it wasn't very busy. Convenient location in a strip mall with parking out front. They offered a $5 drink menu that we did not partake off of. They were out of coleslaw that afternoon, but we were told this before we ordered. This was a great choice for Father's Day! We sat outside as we had our fur baby with us. There was a cooling rain shower and it was relaxing to sit out and enjoy (on their covered patio). The Brussel sprout appetizer is a MUST! Even better than described. My husband had the Mushroom Swiss Smash Burger which was huge and incredible. I went with the Lemon Pepper Chicken Ancient Grains Bowl. WOW!!! It deserves 10 stars all by itself. We want to make sure and say Danielle was a wonderful server and very attentive to our needs. Went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We were told a 20 minute wait so we went to the bar. Ordered beers and then our food. Beer was cold as we waited. I ordered the shrimp platter and substituted collards for fries. My wife ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich. Both came with a delicious broccoli slaw. Our shrimp was fried perfectly. Cool and cozy spot! Was visiting Savannah and happened to hit this place for a "hangover lunch" and it did the trick! Ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. Best I've had for sure. Fried perfectly and great flavor. The goat cheese garnish and aioli (forget which kind) were the perfect additions. Kept it simple and ordered their wings as the main course; they weren't anything special, but were tasty for sure. We stopped in on a drive out to Skidaway state park. The reviews seemed pretty good so we thought we would try. There were lot of tables in the bar and also on their outdoor patio. The place was not too busy but we waited a bit to be greeted by our server. Our food was very slow to come out once we ordered. We opted for brunch items. The pancakes were lukewarm and rubbery. They were kind of gross. We had to ask for butter as well and they brought out two They did not look like pictures on the website at all. The grits were hot but had probably been sitting for awhile because they were a bit congealed on the top. My eggs were overcooked as well. Great service, food and dessert. The drinks however were painfully small. Tasty but a margarita in a small rock glass for $10 was a disappointment. Our server was very attentive. We went in early evening on Easter because we had called for a reservation at 11 and were told they were full up but we could walk in subject to a wait. When we arrived we were the only table‍ And the bar was closed off. A couple of tables arrived while we ate but definitely not a full service. Weird. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes was great. A side of broccoli coke slaw accompanied the plate. Pecan chicken salad and Mac and cheese were sampled and pimento cheese with chips was our appetizer. Everything was good but service was so slow. At least a half hour for our appetizer, 20 minutes for our drinks and the meals were served within 5 minutes of the appetizer. We took brownies and ice cream to go as the portions were quite substantial. The brownie and Ice cream is very good. The atmosphere is more like a diner or coffee shop and as far as decor, it's pretty basic. The restaurant was clean, our server was good and the food was delicious but the timing definitely needs work. But you will not be sorry with the food if that's your main goal. read more

Me and my friends traveled from north carolina for vacation and decided to stop by here for some brunch when we were greeted with nothing but attitude and upon seating us the server had made a mistake and sent fried pickles to our table, us not being from here maybe thought it was something they did on the house. as we were dipping the fried pickles in sauce the server quickly comes up and rudely snatches the tray out of our hand and says if yall didnt order it then dont dig in. Great food. I tried the Hot Chicken Sandwich, and it was delicious. Just the right amount of heat. Three tenders were deep-fried and coated with a bbq sauce and hot honey. The Texas toast was dry, but I didn't care because I never eat the bread on my sandwiches. The slaw and pimento cheese were pretty good as well. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, and I personally did not like them. They were way too bitter. They needed something sweet to tone down the bitterness of the Brussels sprouts. However, the truffle fries that my friend ordered with her burger were delicious. I almost forgot I also ordered the collard greens, and they were delicious. Not my momma but good for a restaurant. She would never have that many stems in her greens, but I was okay with it because they seasoned them well. We also ordered the chicken wrap, and it was very refreshing. I can't forget the burger. We found this restaurant after one of my tryouts a few days ago in Savannah and it hit the spot. Their Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer are phenomenal, roasted in this delicious herb pesto and garnished with Parmesan cheese. The type of dish that would change someone's mind if they didn't care the vegetable. In addition, I was craving a burger so I tried their classic burger and it honestly hit the spot. Not the best burger I've ever had but the meat was juicy and I thought it had a really good meat to bun ratio. The bacon was crispy and the tomatoes were beautifully ripe. The only suggestion I would give is that they season the meat. Furthermore, Their Caesar as a side salad was good but the only issue I had with it was that the croutons were stale. Other than that it was a delicious dressing. Lastly, their PB Iced coffee sounded so good but I was honestly a bit disappointed, it lacked the peanut butter I was looking for and barely tasted any coffee. Incredibly excited to have this spot in our neighborhood! Let's start with the most important thing- the food! The must have: the fried pickles! I don't know how they do it but my goodness they're epic. They are spears, not chips, and some how the batter actually sticks to the pickle and keeps it all nice and crunchy! No slippery soggy pickles at this place ;) The skip it: Buddha bowl. Tried one of the healthier options but sadly it significantly lacked flavor. Also, it was desperately asking for some sweet potatoes or quinoa to be included. We added the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Still might give it another try. Everything else: the black eyed pea hummus was Smokey and smooth. The collards were awesome- not overly wet or greasy and cooked just to the point where they still had some bite. The cream of mushroom soup was chunky and wonderful. I have mixed feelings about the grilled cheese- somehow the cheese was melted but the bread was cool- idk how that managed to happen. It's the kind of grilled cheese that just needs to be served with a soup- and dipped away! The cocktails: $5 classics all the time! Plus they have fun seasonal inspirations - I tried the fall old fashioned - little cinnamon and a little spice YUM. The service: Fantastic! Our server -Joelle (sorry if that's the incorrect spelling) was attentive without being overbearing or annoying. She made great drink recommendations and had a pleasant attitude. Plus the entire team worked so well together. The atmosphere: plenty of space for people to spread out and not feel too crowded- even when it's packed full. The table spacing allows you to have a personal conversation without the person next to you over hearing. The decor was simple and emphasized the cleanliness of the place. The lighting and music were both just at the right level. I do wish the bar area was bigger - as that's were we tend to sit. Rough weather most of Memorial Day weekend in Savannah, except Memorial Day itself, which was beautiful. Hit the water with some friends, soaked up rays and did some fishing. Great breakfast/brunch spot with all the classics but not the grease! We arrived at 10:00 am on a Sunday and we're seated right away! Our group ordered 4 different dishes and we really liked each of them. Pancakes, avocado toast, village scramble, abs mother clucker. Pancakes were light and fluffy and sausage gravy was savory but not too overwhelming. One thing about the avocado toast, it only has a 'smear' of avocado under the salmon, not the usual amount you normally see (if you look at the photo you only see a little from the side of the salmon). Ordered from UberEats so already paid a premium which would have been fine if the food had been acceptable but it was not. I guess if it's delivery they don't worry about it because people can't send it back. Ordered the fried green tomato appetizer - the only change I made was no pimento cheese (which wasn't on the original ingredient listing so I didn't really want it) I added bacon jam- I'm guessing if you order bacon jam you don't get Remoulade or goat cheese but that was not clear from the order form- I assumed it was an add on. I got 4 tomatoes about 2 inches in diameter and some bacon jam. No goat cheese no remoulade- not what I was expecting. We also ordered the lemon dill salmon spread- it basically had no flavor. I could see a lot of salmon and there was a slight salmon flavor but definitely no lemon or dill. For what I paid for these items I am extremely disappointed. I have eaten at the habersham location before and had been wanting to try the Sandfly location. After this I can tell you I definitely will not be ordering delivery from there again. I might try in person dining. The only reason it got two stars was because my husbands burger was pretty good and the flavor of the fried green tomatoes and bacon jam was good. read more
