Great selection of comics and collectables at a wide range of prices. Was able to get several comics to start my little boy on who has peaked his interest in the Spiderman comics. Very reasonable prices to start a beginner at. Friendly workers every-time i go i .

Gus checking out the Manga section!

This place is a rip off. They sell damaged (seconds) comics as NEW. I do not recommend buying comic books from here!

Do they buy stuff here? Asking for advice since I have some stuff I'd like to get rid of, some treasure if you will lol 😅

Yes they do. Place is awesome. But they might just give you credit. Bottomless Pit in Oxford pays cash.

His honesty saved me a great deal of money. He is in my experience the true honest broker. He and his shop have treated me with dignity. If something wasn't to my expectation, without me having to go to bat, they fixed the problem and kept their end of the bargain. I would recommend these guys beyond all others in this business that I have met. Some great people at other shops, I have dealt with, and some thieves out there too, honestly. Ted VanLiew consistently gave me the most upfront and honest deal.

I asked about specific flaws beforehand. Two books in a row showed up with flaws. I complained…read more Here is their e-mail response: "Oh, brother, You're just too neurotic for us. We'll get you refunded for the #10, and after that, would appreciate no further contact. We've got plenty of customers who aren't constantly complaining, and we'll stick with them. Good luck annoying your next victim." The first book was refunded after I had to go through the trouble and cost of re-packing it and driving to the post office, but when the second book arrived with flaws I chose to keep it just to avoid the hassle of dealing with the return and will re-sell it below what it cost me because I am HONEST and will be stating exactly what's wrong it which is what superworld should have done in the first place which is what I had requested. Everyone I have mentioned this to says they cannot believe a business-owner would write an e-mail like above to a customer, and that complaints and criticisms are a normal part of customer service, especially when the business fails to perform in good faith. Also, it has come out that I am not the only one who superworld has been haphazardly selling flawed books to. Apparently you are just supposed to accept what they send or go through the hassle of returning books instead of them checking their so-called Near-Mint books to make sure they aren't actually only Good or Fine condition. They refused to check books before selling them to me even though a couple of minutes doing so could have prevented my aggravation and frustration of being sold books with flaws that I specifically asked about. Not recommended, bad dealer.

Had lots of $1 comic bins which is the only good thing about the store itself. Shop owner was arrogant and boastful. Not to mention that he was running a live stream in the middle of the room. Their Friday and Saturday auctions, which seem to be a family affair for the owner, Issac, have become a staple of my wife and my evenings. Issac is a very friendly guy who treats his customers like he's known them for years. I haven't met his wife, but she mans the auction computer and also seems nice. A few things of note: 1. This store is definitely geared towards the older collector. Most of the books are at least a few years old. Kids are more than welcome, but you have to keep a close eye as a lot of the collectibles are in hands reach of little three year olds. 2. As I said, older books. They don't have subscriptions to distribute the new books yet. I know he's working on it though. 3. He literally just opened the store a few months ago. So his books aren't all that well organized yet. You'd do better to just ask if he has something. Personally, I don't mind this, but that's because my wife and I love the treasure hunt. All in all, great store that I've become a frequent patron of. Hopefully it'll be there for a good long time!

"I've tried and tried to no avail You just can't seem to let…read moreme down You drive a hard bargain" (Emmylou Harris) We enjoy our bargain stores and are fans of Ocean State Job Lot, Big Lots and Ollies. Two days ago, we made our first visit to the Ollies on Grafton Street in Worcester. We picked up our "go to" Ollies staples -coffee K Cups (BTW, we do recycle them) and found some very good values on $4 or $5 for a box. Although we did get some good values, we thought the overall coffee inventory was lower than in other Ollies. We usually pick up some odds and ends in the food section and Ollies had a good selection of soups and salsas. One odd thing I saw was a trend of messiness in some of the store's sections. There were area rugs dumped all over the floor in one aisle. Now of course, I don't know how that happened, nor how long that mess was there, but I suspect a slovenly customer was looking at merchandise and couldn't have been bothered by picking up the mess they had carelessly created. But why on earth hadn't an employee noticed and remedied that mess? Another example of inattention was how the big cartons of K Cups were stacked; it looked as though their forklift or pallet jack operator had a few too many adult beverages before saying "that messy off-center precariously leaning stack is EXACTLY the way I wanted it too look". Overall, we had a typical Ollies experience, and that's a good one!

Actually some prices are not the cheapest but if you look, you can find some deals. From books, to garden care, to home ware, to some foods, even big appliances like air conditioners, school supplies, sports, toys, they might just have it. Not everything but you have to look. That's why you would come. To find a deal. It's not the best looking store or tidy, but that's the vibe here. Bargains, bargains, like at a warehouse. What's fun is actually to read the signs in the store. They are funny and very original. It's in a plaza with other stores, so there's plenty of parking. If in the area, I would check it out. But I wouldn't drive all the way just for a bargain. You could go to Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lot for similar items and in a nicer looking store. But you would miss out on the signs that advertise this store. That was the only thing I enjoyed.
