I called That's Entertainment when my spouse knew which professionals she'd ask. I was selling an EarthBound cartridge and was stunned to find how the industry would only buy for half the price they could sell it at. So, I thought, who to call? And my spouse was like, "Ask That's Entertainment." So, I did. That's Entertainment were professional and told me it was the truth--even if it's ugly for me, they know they lose nothing to be honest. And, they were respectful, and didn't even ask me what I'm selling to steal business for a dime. (I might have told them anyways!) They helped a local business make my sale. I get my weekly comic book from this place for the past several years since moving closer, but coming here longer for back issues and other items to peek my son's interest. He's not that into comics, but he likes the old school toys they sell. He's 16 and spends his own money and I trust this place to treat him right and with respect and not take advantage of him because of his age. He always leaves here happy thus I'm happy. I highly recommend both the Worcester (Lindsey and Sorena) and Fitchburg (Liz and Dario) stores are great. They both help me get my comics without stepping into the stores which I do randomly because I can no longer drive my self due to becoming disabled so I'm thankful for have met Liz and Lindsey at the Worcester store, knowing all four of them in this industry has made me a very happy man and father. read more

I highly recommend That's Entertainment Pop Culture Emporium. They have a great selection of action figures, comic books ( used and new), vinyl records, and Funko Pops. They participate in Record Store Days. I have been shopping there since 2004 and they have always been really friendly and helpful to me. Sorana and Chad are really nice. Last fall, I ordered the 50th Anniversary Mego superhero figures from That's Entertainment. I ordered the Mego Batman and Superman figures, they came as promised, and in perfect condition. read more

Visited the store with my 16-year-old son who uses a power wheelchair. The staff was incredible at accommodating him and making all parts of the store accessible. Clear as day too, you could see the abnormal glue down the center seam on the back, plus two of the packs had a card that was not even from that set! I was at the same event Joe G below was at and it was a great experience. The staff were very helpful and grateful for so many people showing up to there event. They threw in extra prizing for the event too. Their prices on certain product was well below MSRP ON TOP of having sales on miniatures. The place was packed and the staff was a little overwhelmed trying to ring sales and also watch the floor. I ran into the same employee, who from my observation knew nothing about the tournament and was doing his best to get people paid and registered. The employee who was responsible for the event wasn't scheduled to be there until 12 so there was some confusion. Huge selection of miniatures, board games, retro video games, dice, comics, records, of you can't find it here I don't know how! A lot of things can go into a review, but to leave a 1 star because of one Interaction that lasted all of 5 minutes at max is careless and irresponsible. Especially when the staff came in to check on us multiple times to see how we were doing, to ask of the temperature was ok, to thank us for being there NUMEROUS times. The tournament lasted for 6 hours and all that was reported on was that one moment. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I don't usually leave yelp reviews. But this review of a great store was needed, as I feel its being misrepresented by others in our Heroclix community. It's reviews like this that hurt a community, when there were so many positive things that could have been said about that day. read more

I've been frequenting That's Entertainment for 22 years and have never had a problem. Recently, I encountered my first (very minor) problem with their subscription service. I sent off an email to Sorana, one of the managers, and she had the problem completely solved in a matter of hours. This is a review from the mother of a 13 year old. For customer service and attentiveness, I'd give it a 4 star - you can't judge a book by its cover, and if you can look past the piercings, tattoos and dress code, you will be pleasantly surprised at the care and professionalism the staff puts into the clientele. BUT, the place is cluttered, and dusty, and it can be overwhelming. And if you can't overcome the seedy demeanor of patrons - in particular the creepy guy with his hand in his pocket while he touched his jewels while staring at the "adult" comic covers... you really have to give parental supervision to you child. It has tons of memorabilia in print or music, vintage games and toys. However, it needs to come with its own warning, and it makes me uncomfortable to let my teenager on his own to venture in. Freakin' impressed beyond all recognition. The place has everything. They even had a JJ Doll from "What's Happening". I didn't even know they made JJ dolls! :-) 45s, LPs, posters, and of course comic books. My son is salivating over a Nintendo 64, and they also have remotes for the retro game machines. (And I'm always first in line with unrealistic expectations that even Superman can't match). My service dog and I went here for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience! To start the staff were great about ignoring my service dog and giving us space to move. They were also super helpful with finding items and getting me signed up for the D&D waiting list. The store is packed full of great comics, manga, RP books and table top games. As soon as you arrive to the store you can see it's on Lois Lane Ave, which is property fitting for a comic book store that has just about everything you'd ever need! Classic consoles , classic games , trading cards , blue ray movies, manga etc. including the infamous Sky Bar that can't be found anywhere else besides here and the factory . That's entertainment is a great piece of history of Worcester in a good location and an awesome environment. Amazing! Came for DnD dragons for my husband for Christmas and totally scored!! He's pretty picky and a lot of stores claim to have merch but it ends up being light. Came in and got a bunch of mini multi packs and a really impressive gold dragon! Can't wait to put it under the tree! I had been buying selling and trading with That's E for 15 years and loved it BUT now the place has become so unbelievably expensive and the staff is flat out rude. I have been told my valuables are worthless only to see them overpriced on their shelves less than a week later. I am driving an hour to shop in a store that doesn't seem to care if I show up at all. Trading with CHAD was always a nice and fair experience but now he is offering almost nothing for items and the attitude you get for declining a less than reasonable offer is just plain ridiculous not to mention unnecessary!! Also they do not clean any used toys they sell and are passing off used graphic novels as new! I have been followed around the store while shopping and have been rudely made to put my shopping items "up front" as if I am stealing! The very last straw was shopping for comics (80$ worth) only to have an employee again rudely tell me that there was a line of people waiting to enter ( one I waited my turn in) and IF I wanted to lackadaisically shop perhaps I should come on a slower day like a Monday or Tuesday!! I was shocked!! How Completely unacceptable!! I found this rude to such a degree that I put my items down passed on a 50$ action figure in a case on the way out! Then apologized for wasting his time, never to return. Such a great place for a time and very sad to see it decline into the money pit selling at eBay prices! Not to mention staff that are always looking to make your trip uncomfortable. DO NOT SELL ANYTHING TO THIS PLACE!! The dishonesty you will hear about the value of your things will be staggering. Was expecting a cabaret, turned out to be a portal to the dork dimension. Anyway, this is not a burlesque parlour nor a dance studio and they do not allow opened bottles of liquor. At first i thought it was a recycling plant, but apparently its a store(?) First of all, what's the deal with these prices? I picked out an old beat up Superman of Steel that said .35 cents on the cover, I brought it to the counter and they charged me $200!!! Just because I'm wearing a tuxedo doesn't mean I like to overpay for everything, Superman's not caviar, ok? The DJ was playing 90's music (!?) I'm pretty sure it's the year 2000-something, feel free to join us guy! A pile of starving kids were literally fawning over playing cards that were behind a glass panel (?), some of the toys were already opened but you couldn't play with them (?) unkempt nerds kept asking if I "needed anything", it took every ounce of my being to not clobber these brats. There were a bajillion cartoonish books ripping off the Xman movies, seemed suspicious. Does Hollywood know about this stuff? I reported this place to the Police so don't expect it to be here much longer. read more

Just came back from a Board Game Night - my second one with That's E! so far. I love the events they put on, and their prices are generally reasonable. Selection and staff knowledge is another reason to go here, too. I love that I find new and different books and graphic novels that I don't see elsewhere. I am not a comic book nerd. Ive actually never really read any comics even as a kid. I am however a HUGE Wonder Woman fan, but mostly of the show from the 70s. I recently decided to read the Wonder Woman comics as well as the new Jem and the Holograms comic books (another favorite show from my childhood) so I discovered That's Entertainment and decided to go explore them. I didn't have high expectations when I decided to go check this store out. I was on the hunt for some George Perez Wonder Woman comics from the 80s. I was pleasantly surprised. This comic book store is HUGE that you really need a good hour or more to explore this store. They even have a game room where I think they hold Magic gatherings (whatever those are). There are tons of old Nintendo games that the DH explored for a bit. Lots of toys and collectibles. And comics for days. They even sell records. I found some special WW graphic novels as well as almost every single Perez issue of WW. Also the new Jem and the Holograms comic book too. This will be a monthly visit place for me to stock up on the latest comics I am currently reading. Check it out if you are ever in the area. Its not to be missed. read more

This is the end all and be all of comic book stores. I've been going to this store for over a decade. It's got one of the most vast selections of comics, and brings in some great memorabilia. Collectibles, toys, games, you name it - That's E has it. If I need dice, I go to That's E. If I need a new comic, I go to That's E... If I'm looking for a Super Nintendo and maybe a game or two... I go to That's E. This is a haven for all things "geeky". The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and make this shop what it is. Despite the fact that this place is cluttered and crowded, you won't blame them when you find everything you need and then some! This place is chock full of everything from used DVDs to PS2 items to comic books, at a very low price. If you don't like Internet shopping like on eBay, this is a good first start. Back before Doctor Who really blew up here in America as of late, it was really hard for me to find any Doctor Who merchandise, but of course That's E had it!
