I have had 0 issues with this store from my end, All though I imagine the magic players would find this a decent place as well. The amount of tables might be the most in any local store I have been in. They have an impressive board game collection and an even more impressive MTG selection. They even have a couple d&d and pathfinder books.

I can only speak to Star Wars Destiny events but this store routinely misrepresents their events…read moreand charges extra fees for events. They advertise prizes and don't deliver and then blame the player base for "misunderstanding". If you play Magic the Gathering you'll like the store and they'll like you. Came here to buy my nephew a Christmas gift. This Newbury comics is part of a mall…read more I grew up on the original Newbury comics in Newbury st in Boston so this comic book store has a special place in my heart. However, the vibe has changed over the years and this location feels different than the one in Boston. This one feels more like a gift shop than the nostalgic collectors store that I grew up with. Anyways, got some pop figures for my nephew. They have a large collection. Staff seem friendly. Overall, I always find the stuff in Newbury to be interesting, especially gifting teenagers. I will be back for sure.

Huge store with all types of used and new books. I only had time to look in the children's section…read morewhich was huge and decently organized by categories such as (sensory/cause and effect, holidays, popular authors, language, potty training, family). You could spend a good chunk of time browsing through the bins and shelves. It is great that they have a train table in the kids area so they kids can play while you browse the books. I was searching for Lunar New Year books, but couldn't find any. They had a bin for the big holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter and a general holiday bin for smaller holidays. The employees were nice and can system search by author/title, but they couldn't do a search by general topic/genre.

The Used Book Superstore in Burlington is my personal money pit -- and honestly, I'm fine with it…read more I've never managed to leave with fewer than ten books, and at this point, I don't even pretend I will. The selection feels endless. Every genre, every niche, and then, just when you think you've seen it all, there's a wall of Blu-rays, DVDs, video games, board games, and random bits of memorabilia you didn't know you wanted until they're already in your basket. The prices are almost insulting to other stores. Seriously, I've paid more for a cup of coffee than I have for some of the books here. You'd almost feel guilty... except you don't, because you're too busy carrying out a stack taller than your torso. The staff is excellent -- actually helpful, not the fake "let me know if you need anything" kind. They've tracked down what I came in looking for, and then somehow convinced me to walk out with three more titles I didn't even know existed. My shelves at home are groaning under the weight of their recommendations, but sure, suggest me another series. Why not. I've been a regular for about a year now, and as long as I live in Massachusetts, this will be one of the few places I actually look forward to throwing money at. You never know what you'll find here, which is exactly why I keep coming back.

It's always been super-easy to update my subscription and I love discovering all the pop culture gems when I visit: used records, CDs, DVDs, Disneyana, games, toys, and of course comic books! All at reasonable prices. I love the bins of action figures; you never know who you'll find! Free handicapped parking can be found in the metered lot behind the shop on Chestnut Street. There are also several handicapped spots on Moody Street. Shop is handicapped accessible, though it is a pinch cramped in the back. I've been able to maneuver with a rollator and cane. If you need help navigating or reaching anything, the owner is happy to help.

Today during a purchase of many cards with an employee named Chris I pointed out some cards listed at $2-5 were 25-.50 cent cards. I had hoped purchasing those with a plethra of other product they'd be receptive in just matching/honoring those 4-5 to be .25. Instead I was met with annoyance and a firm "The answer is just no". By no means do I want to not support a local shop but the unwillingness and unwillingness immediate dismissiveness to not work with a customer is a bit daunting. I'm not one to leave reviews but after today's interactions I felt like it should be out there
