    Amazing Spider-Man #316

I was in the area for work and stumbled upon Fantasy Zone. This place is excellent! I was treated to free, ample parking out front and greeted warmly upon entering. I was allowed to browse through the extensive back issue collection freely and found a couple of books for my collection. After that I proceeded to the section of new issues where I found another book. At check out, the Associate was friendly and gave me a discount simply because I purchase several books. Behind the counter I noticed some of the more expensive and rare comics and made an additional purchase of Amazing Spider-Man #316, a book that I have coveted for a while, and might not have purchased if I wasn't already given such a fair price. This experience was everything I could hope for and if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back.

Prices on back issues are to high, wall books way over priced. And the fake niceness is obvious,

It's his favorite movie (you can tell once in there!) and the passion he expressed when talking about the films was really refreshing.

Nice selection of dvds! I went here in the late eighties and early nineties for comics and baseball…read morecards. Now I'm back in the hood, in need of cinema! This place is a gem. Wayne is a great guy with amazing taste in movies. The prices are fair and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for physical media and a touch of nostalgia.

This is an odd place…read more I read the other yelp reviews and thought that sometimes you find good deals and hidden gems at messy shops. So I thought I'd give this a try. I don't mind digging through old boxes. When I walked in I noticed what all the other reviews mentioned. There was trash throughout the store. Just straight littering inside the store. Looks like a place someone started building but never finished. There's a wall of NCBD and some boxes sprinkled throughout the store. I looked through them and it was all .50 cent type of books but with no prices on them. All filler books. Most boxes were just empty. I asked the guy working there if they had any bigger key issues and he said not usually, if anything big comes in they put it on eBay, not the store. Then why have a store? I didn't find anything worth buying even though I looked for a while. To be fair, the gentleman behind the counter was very nice. I just don't understand why he'd have a half empty store and the only part that is full has nothing but filler. He also had some regular books and DVDs. Altogether this felt more like a yard sale than a comic book shop. If you are looking for NCBD this is your spot though!

I asked the only person there if there were more shirts, as I was buying souvenirs, she continued to stare and I had to repeat myself. I should have left at that point but I wanted to bring back a souvenir. I FaceTimed my girlfriend to ask her if she liked any of the shirts. After I hung up, I got one and put it on the register to checkout. I asked the person if there was a card minimum for purchases. (In case I wanted to make another purchase). She said no and continued to stare at me. After an awkward silence and a prolonged ogle - she continued the check out process. I was told where to sign and she stepped away from the counter never thanking me or ending the interaction. I asked her if she was the owner and she responded with yes. I asked for her name and she said it was, Dale. I left the store visibly shaking my head on the way out. This was the most uncomfortable customer service interaction I've ever experienced. TL; DR. Don't support a place that treats it's customers in such a way that would leave you physically uncomfortable. Visit one of the other pleasant stores in the area!

Well if you or anyone you know happen to enjoy any these things, this is the store to visit. Definitely one of the coolest toy store around. Actually toy store isn't even close to being actuate. The World Store is more of a nature, science store for playful geeks of all ages. Lots of dinosaurs stuff about Parasaurolophus, Triceratops and of course Tyrannosaurus and their friends. Models, stickers, books and puzzles of the extinct critters. Also plenty of cool books and games about more contemporary creatures. Very creative and fun stuff including great bird houses, toys and foolish t-shirts and hats. Lots of scented candles and pleasantly little stinky things so the store always smells nice. The World store also has neat maps and books about geology, meteorology, archaeology and great plastic globes that act like beach balls but with the names and locations of the world's countries on it. So your little geek can learn where Turkmenistan is while he or she is playing on the beach. An absolutely great, fun and educational place for everyone. The inventory always seems to be changing with new and sometimes bizarre items. I've found it's extremely easy to spend a lot of time and money in the store but I've never regretted it.
