They support local authors and even from time to time musicians. I have performed here a couple of times and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Their great event room is a multi-purpose section of the store with a seating capacity of maybe 45-50, give or take. Keep your eyes open for events here! Also has a great selection of gifts. :) The food at the cafe was delicious too!

There's frequently something going on in Booklovers, author talks, book signing, and demonstrations. They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store. I love the selection of gifts also, cards, jewelry, honey. I'm sure you could find something here for lots of people on your list! Metrowest and Central Mass has SO much to offer (artists, intellectuals, organic farming) and Worcester Wares apparently has a pipeline from allllll of these magical people right into their wee storefront! They're located within the DCU Center (easy to find) and light floods this packed shop....let me list the ways it makes my heart sing: * Screen printed Worcester shirts and totes (both classics and hilarious) (Paris of the 80's & Out of the Night Tees, I love you) * Jewelry and pins of the Massachusetts and Worcester variety (I definitely picked up a Worcester pin) * Worcester Bravehearts wares (baseball?! I went to Worcester Wares to order some custom shirts for my small business. I paid the full price up front (mistake on my part) and patiently waited for the project to progress. I promptly sent in all of the graphics needed to make the various shirts I had ordered. Months into the project I was informed the the owner was dealing with some personal matters, which I was understanding and patient about. She did deliver some of the products I had ordered, and indicated that she was working on the remaining products. Some of the shirts had a defect, which she said she would rectify. The hoodies that I ordered were supposed to feature a large logo on they back, which the ones she delivered did not. After that visit, it was radio silence. I sent several emails and messages inquiring about timeframe for delivering the remaining items, but did not get any response from her, or from anyone at Worcester Wares. I began this process in early December 2025, and paid for my items in full at our initial meeting. It is now May the following year, and I have not hard anything from the owner since February when she dropped off a few of the items I had ordered, despite several emails and phone calls. Unfortunately I would not recommend Worcester Wares to another business. I am now out several hundred dollars and have only a small handful of the shirts that I ordered, some of which were not made as ordered. Very disappointing.

Crompton Collective is one of my favorite places to go so I had expectations that this place was going to be very lovely. There are some notable differences between Crompton and here. This shop is cute and has plenty of decor, knick knacks, jewelry and unique pieces to look at. It's a cozy little shop, instead of a massive floor separated by different vendors. There are also many unique pieces and decor pieces, not much in the way of antiques or furniture of that sort. The shop is small but well decorated. I took multiple laps and still kept spotting items that i had not seen previous times. It is a nice addition to the shops and stores that now fill Main st in Hudson. I personally did not interact with employees that day because it was busy and there were ample customers with questions and gifts to purchase. I'll be sure to visit again, as there were plenty of little items I wanted to buy that day.
