I really liked this place. It is super cute and nice inside. They have a large menu selection. I ordered the Buffalo Mac and cheese, my boyfriend got the salmon. We both really enjoyed our meals and it was a good portion size. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. Overall this is a nice experience for a nice night out for dinner. The atmosphere is great as is the service and food. Update: have went again now twice for brunch and absolutely loved it again. I really liked the coffee. Another terrific meal at That Bar & Table! (We go there weekly but I forget to ever take photos or write it up.) I hadn't been in 4 months, and it was probably for good reason. The waitress was wonderfully kind. Brought refills of our drinks.. as the food took an hour and 10 minutes to be brought out. And that was just for an appetizer. It was the correct order and was made well, but over an hour for food when there are 6 open tables is unacceptable. I actually warned a couple that food would take an hour. The hostess had advised them a table would be a 20 minute wait but never mentioned that the kitchen was severely behind. I came here with some work friends one Friday evening for dinner and drinks. From what I can tell, this restaurant is relatively new in the Haile Plantation area but is easily accessible from all parts of Gainesville. They have a decent selection of local beers on tap and some interesting-sounding cocktails. The menu is pretty expansive but I went with the mahi "two-bite" tacos, which came with cabbage-lime slaw, guacamole, cheddar cheese, and jalapeno aioli. Despite their name, these were more like 3-bite tacos and the five that came on the plate were enough to fill you. Their flavor was good but nothing that particularly blew me away. I would visit again to try some of the other menu items. read more

Spotted this place from the road as from what I could see a lovely outside area. Jose our server was absolutely precious. Takes her job very seriously. My husband and I had the fish and chips. Delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and the batter nice a crispy but not too much. Lots of fish. A good helping that we ended taking some home. Coleslaw. I'm picky about my coleslaw. He had beer - Yuengling, which is his favorite, and then tried the TBT home brew. It was only slightly hoppy and wasn't quite as full bodied as he was used to with a pretty mellow finish. I actually didn't mind it and I hate beer ESPECIALLY IPAs! Liked it. I had the Salmon burrito bowl. I think the salmon was good but slightly wet so frozen quite a while. My favorite restaurant I've been to since coming to Gainesville 7 months ago. They do what they do better than the top 3 steakhouses here (Marks, Ember and P&P). I had the french onion soup, truffle fries and a mozzarella grilled cheese with a mac and cheese side. The mac and cheese side was top tier, very cheesy with added butter and great pasta. French onion was also very good, great flavor in the soup and cheese. Sat outside with my dog, the ambiance was nice and peaceful. Fast and friendly service, and very nicely priced food. Where do we start? - Our child's "grilled cheese sandwich" was just a cheese sandwich. Two pieces of Kraft single not melted between dry bread. - Our food was cooked excellently but the cheapness and low quality of ingredients couldn't be covered. The churrasco (steak) couldn't be chewed, and after we tried four bites that we spit up onto napkins we gave up. The chicken wings were extra crispy without being burnt but had absolutely no flavor (Alabama White BBQ & Buttery Garlic Parmesan) and were unnaturally large. I am a previous 5-star reviewer and a regular diner at TB&T. Obviously, I am a fan. However, this is a downgrade, not because of the food, but because of cleanliness and hygiene. Two suggestions for the owner. Your great food deserves better! Clean the floor in such a way that removes the sticky, gummy film.. I am guessing this is a soapy residue from prior cleanings, but it does not leave a positive impression. In fact, it is kind of gross. Second - refill bathroom soap dispensers every morning when you open. The restroom sign "Employees Must Wash Hands Before Returning to Work" inspires little confidence when the dispenser is empty shortly after opening for lunch. This should be on your daily, pre-opening checklist. Not that hard! read more

My friend sent back her avocado toast because it lacked avocado. Another friend's meal (the potato scramble) was dry. We ordered beignets and they were dry and tasteless. This bar & grill is in the old location for Loosey's in Haile. My friend and I decided to try it out on a Friday night. We got seated pretty quickly and immediately served some waters, complete with a big glass bottle of water so we could refill ourselves at the table. I really appreciated that since I like to stay hydrated! The decor was fun... they had a whole wall adorned with funky clocks. I ordered the fish and chips which was a large portion, took half home for lunch the next day. The food and service were great, but the location is a bit far away from where I live... so I don't think I would go out of my way to come here but it is a good option if you're in the area. read more

Found this place from my fellow yelp reviewers, and MAN OH MAN AMAZINGGGG! Our waitress Rachel was wonderful she had 4 tables nearby and never once did we feel neglected, she was amazing! She recommended the Mermaid which consisted of house infused gin, basil, elderflower liqueur, and lemon. The hubs ordered the Strawberry Lemonade which had Tito's vodka strawberry purée, lemon juice and simple syrup (so good). For our appetizer we ordered the boiled peanuts and oh my God they were amazing! I've never had boil peanuts so good in my life. For my entrée I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos though they were small they were very filling. The hubs Ordered the wings, the flavors we got were honey Sriracha and mild buffalo garlic the wings were fried to perfection. And lastly we order the truffle fries some of the fries were fried a little too hard for my liking but besides that they were amazing as well. Food was amazing! My fiancé and I had the buffalo chicken dip and the fried mozzarella as appetizers & the cajun Alfredo pasta and buffalo mac and cheese as entrees. Service wasn't so great, didn't catch her name but she came to the table solely to bring us our food and boxes. I'm a waitress myself so i'm big on tipping but sorry, only got $10 on our $60 bill.
