After 25 minutes of waiting at the table, I had to flag down another waitress. Meanwhile, at least three tables that were seated after us already had drinks and had placed their food orders. I understand being busy, but at the very least, we should have been greeted or offered drinks. The waitress we flagged down said she would help us, which seemed promising at first, but then we waited another 20 minutes just for drinks. I'm not sure if it was an understaffing issue or something else, but the service was extremely poor. We considered leaving a one-star review, but the waitress did seem like she was trying. The food was okay, we ordered light items, and it still took quite a while to arrive. Overall, we would recommend skipping this place. There are plenty of other options in town that will treat you better. We work hard, and when we go out, we expect at least standard service.

What was most disappointing was that the manager never came by our table to check on our experience, even though things were clearly going wrong. My husband got a ginger beer, mocktail, and I had an old fashioned with woodford reserve bourbon. My drink was strong and made well :) We also ordered the roasted potatoes and Haitian macaroni. Potatoes were excellent - crunchy with just enough spice. Haitian macaroni was made with cavatappi cheese and it was delectably cheesy without being overwhelming. The bills for the party were separated prior to ordering and the waitstaff was terrific. There were a couple TVs, and the immature me had to watch SpongeBob SquarePants. It's located at the Hilton, and parking is free.
