It's technically a dessert but I snacked pretty hard on these while in thailand the duck curry was also pretty awesome! I dined here for lunch on a quick break for lunch from the office. Things have changed since the last time I went to visit. No more lunch menu, so you're paying dinner prices . You no longer get a salad with your meal so the price was a little high for lunch. Service was swift and cordial. I had Pad Thai with chicken ordering it medium spicy. It was average, tending to be on the dry side, but it was ok. The atmosphere was good with decor of Thailand but getting a little old and worn. So where do I start! I have eaten here plenty of times in the past and food has always been good! But tonight was a TOTAL disaster!! We had family over from out of town and we decided to go to Thai Thani. When we called for reservations, we were told that we would have to sit in the private room and it will be minimum $35 PP, which we thought was fair. When we showed up today, all the food was cold, pre made and tasted horrible! When we told the manager, we were told that we could have just sat in the regular area and spend less money, which we were told couldn't happen when we originally made the reservation. This place has gotten horrible we came here a year ago and it was great. Now the chicken was dry ,the portions shrunk and prices went up drastically! We ordered the chicken pad ke mao , there was hardly any rice noodles on the plate all bean sprouts and onions $16.49/ per plate. My daughter got shrimp with broccoli which was $17.49 definitely not worth it. They forgot to bring the steamed rice and asked us if we wanted another one after we explained we never received it in the first place. They never came over to ask us how our food was or to refill our water glasses. Our fave Thai spot in Orlando! The whole restaurant is decked out in beautiful decor which really adds to the experience. On this trip, we started with fried Calamari and vegetarian Potstickers which were both excellent. Since I don't eat meat, I was super happy about this Potsticker option as they're almost always made with pork or chicken! For dinner, we both both Pad Thai, 1 with chicken and 1 with Shrimp. Absolutely love this place! The drinks and the food are all very authentic! Highly recommend the Roasted Duck Curry dish, extremely creamy and well-rounded flavors. My co-workers all got the noodle stir fry dishes and they were all very satisfied with their meal! The waitress was also extremely helpful and patient, even when dealing with a semi-large group. Horrible!!! When we entered the Resturant the 1st thing Zi noticed was that dirty carpet. It was grosssss!!! Omg!!! Take take some of your profit and dust all the artifacts and take up that awful carpet! You can afford marble or tile!! We ordered the broiled seafood platter (yuck) and the duck w/ drunken noodles. The duck tasted like refrigerator and it was dried out and hard. If I wanted leftovers I could have stayed home. That wasn't fit for human consumption. Please avoid this place by all means!! This used to be my top Thai place. The last three times I ordered the dishes were 1/2 full to 1/3 full the rest was filled with Sauce. They also left off items the last 2 out of 3 times I ordered. My sister had the chicken pad Thai, I had the clay pot, my BIL had number 42, a beef dish. My sister and I went with spicy level 3, could have done a 4 maybe 5, but first time there so better safe than sorry. BIL went with 7, he loves spicy, and he was very happy. I had visited a couple of years ago and it was much more of a shining star then. Now the strip center is looking depressing, dead plants outside and the inside of the restaurant is like visiting an eccentric aunt's home. Lots of dusty artifacts (except that they are for sale here in case you want to take home a dusty wooden statue...odd, right?) with the upholstery looking threadbare. I love a dive as much as the next person but I do not think that they are going for the dive concept here intentionally... Stir fry curry portion was mostly sauce/broth and not much protein or veggies. Noodle dish was good but not very flavorful. No garnishes on the plates which are often such a highlight of Thai cuisine presentation. Service was friendly and efficient. Orlando is the land of chain restaurants so I hope this place invests in itself again. read more

We had the sampler appetizer, red curry with chicken, yellow curry with shrimp, pad thai with tofu, pepper steak, fried ice cream, and the thai iced tea. As we arrived we entered this Thai palace with beautiful decorations and the welcoming hosts. They immediately sat my family of 6 at a table even though the restaurant looked completely full. We sat down and you can't help but admire all the statues and art work from Thailand. You feel like you're there ! Furthermore, our waitress was very attentive and our food came very fast!
