The food is excellent here. Very fresh, very tasty and great value for the money. It's practically the only place I order takeout from since I moved here 8 months ago. The only one time they ever made a mistake on a dish I ordered, they replaced it right away and kept it piping hot until I returned to get it. In fact, I'm getting hungry as I'm writing this...and yes, I'm putting my order in right now! read more

Everything we had was sooo good! Spicy garlic edamame, on point! Red curry with chicken, on point! Duck curry, on point! Thai tea was delish! We just moved to the area and so happy we found our new thai place read more

Food is delicious and the customer service is exceptional! Love their yellow curry and mango rice is the perfect desert!

My family and I really liked the food here. The service was also very good. The tuna steak appetizer was not what I was expecting. It was really good!! Everybody enjoyed what they ordered and that seldom happens. The sweet rice with mango came too late because we were already full. But we still managed to clean the plate (we shared one order). We will definitely come back to this place again. read more

Great food! Very fresh with generous portions. Service was very good too. We tried the red curry (amazing) as well as the pineapple curry, pad see ew, and eggplant. All were spectacular. Everything was very fresh and served in very aesthetic arrangements. read more

Craving some Thai food and thought we would try a new place. We were warmly greeted when we walked in the door and the restaurant smelled incredible. We placed our to-go order and sat down to wait. The place was pretty full when we came in and quickly had all tables full. We watched the two ladies that were working actually running to make sure delicious looking food was brought out quickly and tables cleaned for the next customers. Although we hadn't made any drink order we were served complimentary thai tea which was delicious. Our to-go order came out piping hot and incredibly fresh. Panang curry was very flavorful, spring rolls were fresh and delicious as was the spicy edamame. My daughter had red curry which she said was really good. We will definitely be returning to try something else. read more

I had the Chicken Pad Thai (I kind of judge a Thai restaurant on their Pad Thai). It was very flavorful, I loved their take on the tamarind sauce. I like it with some spice. I got it as a number 6. I also used their spice tray, so they don't over spice. I will definitely be back. read more

It's really cool today I order the spicy mussels and poh-tak with Changbeer really cool

What a fantastic restaurant! We were regulars at Oishi for many many years and so sad when they decided to close their doors... however when we heard that Janny who'd been part of making the wonderful Thai cuisine at Oishi was going to reopen as Thai Thai, we were very hopeful! And sure enough Thai Thai is fantastic - such wonderful personalized service and delicious Thai food! She's also having a Happy Hour each day from 3-6 with half price appetizers and drinks! We came today for lunch and will be back with more family on Saturday!! (She is closed on Mondays November 8, 2019 - came back yet again to Thai Thai with my seafood loving brother - this marvelous restaurant did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, perfectly spiced and the owner again so gracious and spot-on with her excellent recommendations! They still have a 3-5 PM Happy Hour with 20% off all menu items every day! read more

Best Thai food ever! I have been to many but my favorite dishes are certainly here!!!! The Pho Tak (spicy seafood) soup is hard to find elsewhere if at all and it is outstanding here! I also love their spicy noodles, and red curry. You cannot go wrong here -- the owner and everyone actually are super nice! For the past year or so, I have been going there at least once a week to get my favorites (to go usually). I highly recommend Thai Thai in Santee!!! read more

My wife and I are from Thailand. Thai Thai is our go-to place when we want authentic home food. It helps that they also have great happy-hour promotions, and its regular menu prices are reasonable. They are generous with their portion as well. This is the best Thai food in East county, and among the top in SD. read more

Very good food..I love noodles is yummy..I give 5 stars for service too..Have to take my friend to try it next time..

Came here today after visiting some nurseries nearby. We weren't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We ordered the fried rice, spicy noodles, spicy eggplant, beef noodle soup, and gyoza. All were quite delicious. We also ordered the Thai Coffee and Thai tea and again, we were quite surprised by the size of the drinks. There was this one hot sauce that came with the beef noodle soup..it was amazing. We will definitely come back when we're in the area! read more

We are new to visiting Thai Thai, but very impressed. The environment is clean and well kept, the service is great, and the food is just as great. Both times we came, the service was 10/10 and the food was more than enough to fill us up and take home left-overs. Delicious too. Will be back soon! read more

Great Thai food. We will be back often! Spicy edamame is a must try! The orange chicken and pad Thai were great as well.

Been wanting to try this place since it is close by where I live but for some reason I always want to go on Monday when it is closed haha. But I finally got to go there today and it was just my table and another table so not busy at all. It was not a pleasant experience. I don't like to write bad reviews especially for a small restaurant but I honestly couldn't really enjoy my food fully because of the bad customer service. First off the customer service like a lot of other people are stating in the reviews are true. You seat yourself, have to grab another menu from another table if you have more than two people since they have two menus pre set on the table only, no water refill, and no extra napkins. After looking at the menu a bit I put my hand up to notify her that we were ready to order. She then responded "let me bring your waters first" nicely to me but right after in Thai she basically said "you can wait" and went to the back and said to the other workers there "she wants to order but she can wait!" I think it just took me my surprise because my group and I were not rude at all and didn't not rush her so I don't know where that even came from. I thought it was even crazier that she was just rude when speaking in Thai (that she did not know I understood because I am Thai too) and then came to us was very smiley and trying to act nice. Just super fake. BUT other than the bad service the food was pretty good. We ordered the Thai boat noodle, yen ta fo, pad see ew, sampler appetizer, and Thai tea. We didn't order any sushi but the guy who was making it seemed nice. If it wasn't for the bad talking which was super unnecessary I would of probably been a regular here but I wouldn't come here again. read more

This hidden gem is hands down the best thai food restaurant we have eaten at. We came here Saturday for an early dinner around 5 pm. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Promptly seated and was told about the daily 50% off on certain appetizers. We ordered the eggrolls. We totally love that they had a bottle of sweet and sour sauce. Always felt like we never got enough of it with the app at other "Thai" places. I ordered their "drunken noodle" dish with shrimp, chicken, beef, pork combo with a 3 for spicy. At first it didn't look like enough but it surely was. I encouraged my wife to try something else so she got the Crying Tiger steak. She totally loved it. The steak was tender and all was great. This is how a thai restaurant should be. Quick and prompt service. The ladies kept coming to us for water refills and making sure we were doing okay. We will definitely be back soon. read more

An absolute gem! Formerly known as Oishii, the new Thai takeover is a tremendous success. Greeted by warm welcomes, a cozy, tranquil and beautiful atmosphere...and the food is delectable! The presentation is impeccable, the taste is on point. Hands down best Thai food I've ever eaten. You can easily tell that much passion and hard work went into the renovation. YuYu and Na were friendly faces and they strive to bring the best service possible. Out first visit, we tried the sample appetizer which was a great choice. YuYu recommended the garlic pepper entree which I had with chicken - so good!! My husband had the pineapple curry with seafood. Everything was beyond our expectations. Jenny is awesome and we can't wait to visit every week! For those who were frequent patrons to Oishii, you will not be disappointed. Please stop by and say hello as Mike and Patti were also there. I can't say enough great things about Thai Thai. Well done to everyone and cheers to this new adventure!! read more
