The meats that they carve or offer at the table were all delicious. I was very pleased that each one offered their own characteristics with textures and flavors. I do have to admit that there were favorites among the parade of grilled meats. The picanha steak cut or sirloin cap was not only well seasoned, tender, and juicy, but also grilled to a nice medium or a beautiful pink. The grilled tri-tip was great too, and the Parmesan cheese crusted chicken thighs were very tasty and tender. Other stand outs were the bacon wrapped beef and chicken, the Berkshire pork (pernil) served with a lime wedge, and the linguica or traditional Brazilian sausage. Honestly, all the meats were quite tasty. The offerings at the salad bar were quite impressive, too. If you do just the salad bar when you visit, I think you will be very satisfied. The fresh mozzarella salad was wonderful and came with fresh pearl mozzarella balls. I was very impressed with the cucumber tomatoes salad, and the Rodizio BLT Salad. The salad bar also offered many other items like ceviche, a variety of salads, breads, cold cuts and cheese, and fruits. If you are not a huge meat eater, the salad bar is just right for you. Hospitality was great from the minute we walked in. "Jon" not only provided hospitality with a great sense of humor, but also efficient service. In fact, all the gents who provided the proteins at the table were in good spirits and friendly. I like that this Brazilian Steak House offers plenty of free parking, unlike others downtown, San Diego, and it is priced at a more reasonable price.

The lobster nachos were so good--flavorful, fresh, and honestly the highlight of the meal. The protein bowl didn't disappoint either, packed with good portions and tasted just as good as it looked. I ordered a bowl and a side of brussel sprouts and specified "no cheese" He was very friendly and professional. When he took my order, he added the note to the receipt "no cheese". Once my food was ready, I double checked the order to make sure there was no cheese. As soon as I opened the Brussel sprouts, I immediately noticed there was parmesan cheese on them. I went back to Justin and showed him there was cheese. He was very apologetic and said he would have them remade immediately. While I waited for the Brussel sprouts to be remade, i noticed 2 employees in the back mocking me and Miranda said to Abraham multiple times "no cheese, no cheese, make sure there's no cheese." They both were laughing hysterically and kept glancing over at me. At this point in time, I was getting agitated that they would make a mockery of such a serious allergy. My dairy allergy is serious and I could be hospitalized if I consume dairy. After waiting another 10 mins, Justin brought over the Brussel sprouts and before handing them to me, he double checked them again. When he opened them he noticed there was still traces of parmesan cheese. Again, Justin was very apologetic and explained that the parmesan cheese must have fallen into the tomatoes. He continued to apologize and offered another side item on the menu. Just was the only professional one and provided exceptional service. As for Miranda and Abraham, they should learn to take people's allergies seriously and not make a mockery of it. Very unprofessional. I hope management escalates this customer experience to ensure other customers don't have to deal with such rude and unprofessional employees like Miranda and Abraham. Please give Justin a raise because he is the only reason why I would ever give my business to this location again.

They seemed to have a ton of options for my family who didn't specifically get seafood boils so we went ahead for Mothers Day. When we got there the service was okay, our waitress didn't really check on us much at all besides putting a bunch of lemon slices on our table but no major complaints. We did start off with drinks and some of us got the wrong ones but no biggie because it's busier on a holiday. What I had a problem with was the food itself. I asked for the combo #2 because I thought it was 1lb of snow crab leg like I get every single time, I got it "pub style" which is supposed to be all seasonings like garlic butter Cajun lemon pepper in one. They asked me if I wanted shrimp, sausage or craw fish as my second and I told her I didn't want any of that and just wanted ALL crab legs. I don't know if she fully understood because when I got my boil I could tell it was noticibly smaller. There wasn't 1lb by any means, and looking back I wish I could've said something. I think they just took the amount of crab they got me and cut it in half instead of substituting and adding more. I wouldn't mind if it's extra money, I just want the crab so oh well. The sauce was the second worst thing ever. It did not taste anything like other places, but way worse. All I could taste was a watery spicy Cajun, and even on mild how I got it it was pretty spicy. It lacked any real flavor so on that alone I'd never go back. I usually always get a Cajun garlic butter and it's seasoned to the Gods but still light and potent. This was just not good, and didn't even feel buttery but more a watery oil. We did also get the garlic noodles and they were good. I make garlic noodles at home AMAZING though, so these were average and nothing to write home about since other places can still do them just as good, if not better. A place in SD that had ones even better was called Crab City and their boil tasted great. I would recommend that place instead of this. The reviews and menu pictures had me with much higher expectations and I was super let down. Forgot to mention, my husbands shrimp po boy, he said the shrimp tasted off and fishy like not fresh which made him only eat half and never go back for the leftovers. There was a super sweet sauce on it as well that tasted random to me when I took a bite so I would stay away from that as well. I also had to pay extra for my potato's that normally come with your boil at every other place. They usually come with potatoes and corn but this place came with nothing and you even needed to pay extra for potatoes but they were bigger and different then usual with no salt or anything so they were not worth getting at all, nor finished by me.

Needed a quick bite to eat so to Yelp i went ... saw Chuys had some good looking food and reviews so we took the 9 minute drive from Parkway Plaza after some holiday shopping. Upon walking in there is about nine bar stools aligned the L shaped bar table for sitting along the left wall/window. Place was spotless, super clean with pretty dope street art to your right! The woman at the register was very nice and the cook seemed to carry a great attitude as well. I noticed many customer coming were returning customers which is something I always like to see. California burrito was packed with meat and cooked to absolute perfection. I could actually taste the carne asada over everything which is honesty rare for me. The guacamole was not oozing out nor was it overpowering the taste of the whole burrito. The size of this thing was as about the size of my forearm! Filled me up for sure!! 6 rolled tacos with guacamole, sour cream and cheese was also perfectly cooked. Perfect amount of crunch on the ends and not too soft in the middles. Plenty of meat in the rolled tacos as well, which you could also taste well through all the toppings! We'll definitely be seeing you again soon Chuy's!!!

I ordered a California burrito and asked to swap in adobado pork. No hesitation, no side‑eye, just a nod and a "you got it." That alone puts them ahead of half the shops in the county. The burrito itself delivered. The adobado came through with that deep red glow and smoky tang, the kind of flavor that feels like it's been tended to, not rushed. Fold that into fries, cheese, and a tortilla doing quiet, reliable work, and you get a bite that hits all the right notes. Rich, bright, salty, satisfying. It's a simple thing done well, which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood taco shop. Chuy's isn't trying to reinvent the wheel. They're just making a damn good burrito and treating you right while they do it.

I went for the lasagna, and man, the portion was smaller than I hoped for. My wife went with the chicken Parmesan, but the chicken was kinda chewy, like it got tossed around in the surf a bit too long. And the bread? A little dry, like it needed a splash of ocean water to bring it back to life. First impression? Just average, my friends.
