    Green Curry

I have tried Leela two times now, in person and to go, and unfortunately did not love either experience. I ordered the Tom Kha Kai soup and Green Curry this week The soup almost tasted like it had too much coconut milk in it and not enough lime. Unfortunately I also found a hair when I dipped my spoon inside, so I couldn't eat more of it after this. The Green Curry had a little spice too but was semi bland in flavor. There was also very minimal chicken in this dish, which is frustrating since you have to pay extra for any type of protein. I also wish I had realized there was peas in this so that I could have ordered it without. Some highlights for this location itself is that it's conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of parking.

I love the decor inside, it's very cozy and you can tell they handmade the menus, which were beautiful. The food was good. Service was fast.

I had the Satay Chicken and the Thai iced coffee and it was very tasty and I was able to eat it. My stomach has shrunk since I had bariatric surgery. But I was able to eat two sticks. The peanut butter sauce is so good. And the service was fast. I will be back to try this meal again very soon

There's an authentic feel to this restaurant as soon as you walk in. Service was very quick and we were blown away with the portion size! I ordered a Chicken Panang Curry, spicy level 5 (out of 10).. and it was the perfect level of heat. the curry was fresh, creamy and rich with complex flavors. It was paired with a huge pile of dry, absorbent rice that was ready to soak up all the juices.. We washed the whole thing down with a huge Margarita glass full of Thai Coffee.. that gave me the energy boost I needed to get through the 2nd half of the day! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing so I can't wait to come back and try something else - probably the pumpkin curry!

Rude customer service, Yellow curry was very spicy, It's interesting that the yellow curry has peas, I did not have a great experience here, I will not return.

Tom Tom soup, appetizer sampler platter, hot Sake and Sapporo beer

It was a Friday evening and of course lines were out the door at every restaurant in Santee. I started looking up little hole-in the wall dinner places and stumbled on this GEM. Immediately placed a reservation and was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance and authentic decor this little place embraced. The food, AMAZING the sample appetizer was crispy to perfection with two yummy dipping sauces. Both the Yom Tom soup and Ginger Chicken were superb!!! I will be back and am anxiously awaiting my return. HIGHLY RECOMEND

This is another good Thai place to go in Santee. The place is cozy and great customer service. Papaya salad is good, the taste a little salty compared to other Thai place but still good. It's not spicy at all and I'm not sure if I can adjust the spicy level or not. I would prefer to be a little spicy. Green curry is also good. I ordered with tofu and it's great. Not to spicy and my little boy enjoyed it. Spicy eggplant is also good. Not too spicy as well. Overall is good place.

Great Thai place, especially for takeout. The restaurant is not too fancy, but OK. The best part is the quality versus price. The price is really good for what you get. Big portions for under $20 each plate. Great flavor and good options. Great service, plenty of parking. My favorite dish is the curry fried rice, very good! You can order online, but there's no option for spice level, so if you like it hot, be sure to call. I like it mild, so I order online and it comes out mild, so that depends on preference. Overall, great place, goo service good prices, a win for Thai food in Santee.

The food was good. We definitely enjoyed our dinners! We had chicken fried rice, Leila's fried rice, Panag curry and chicken pad tai.

Great food but proportions are much smaller when you order takeout vs. eating in. Just a thought..

And yes, the drunken noodles at Signature Thai Cuisine is the best I've had. The FBI (fried bananas and ice cream), which I get without ice cream, is perhaps even better than the already dreamy drunken noodles. If you think that you've had fried bananas, you haven't had Signature's rendition. The coconut in the FBI elevates what would otherwise be a cliche dessert. I will be back to try the rest of the menu!

We called the restaurant to resolve the issue, but were initially told that this could not have happened. It was not taken seriously until we provided photo evidence. Even then, they asked us to bring the food back for evaluation despite the fact that we were already home. They said they needed to speak with a manager and did not follow up, so we had to call them again ourselves. We were then offered restaurant credit, which we declined. They told us we would need to bring the container back in if we wanted to pursue a chargeback. When we returned, staff members stared at us while we explained the situation. At one point, a female employee called over three additional staff members from the kitchen to look at the container, as if that would resolve anything. They offered to remake the dish, but we requested a refund instead. In the end, they only refunded the menu price and did not include the tax. Not only were our concerns not taken seriously, but the entire process was unnecessarily difficult. Even though this was only a $12 item, they still pushed back over something as small as the tax.

We were seated along the wall which had booth seating, which I prefer. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea no boba and the hubs a coke. We order the following items for dinner: Appetizers - - Crispy egg rolls - with pork (4 pieces) - served with veggies and fish sauce, these were tasty. - Salt pepper chicken wings - (8 pieces) they were a tad over fried but flavor was good. - Spring rolls - (2 pieces) with pork and shrimp, we ordered these Togo. Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7
