Honestly can't believe I haven't ever left a review for this place. We were here like every week 2 months straight one time. They recognized my brothers and would just start making crunchy rolls because we always started with sushi as an appetizer lol. I'm thinking I never reviewed this place because I was trying to gatekeep lol. Every time we crave pad Thai we really mean we're craving THAI THAI. We first were introduced to Thai Thai from their location in Vista so when we heard they had a location in Santee we were so grateful! The service has always been 10/10 & obviously the food 10/10 it always kept us coming back and kept us telling our friends. It's rarely ever packed when we go in but most of the time we're waiting outside at 10:50am waiting for it to open so we're not there when it's packed lol. This is THE BEST PAD THAI in SAN DIEGO. Yessssss I said it. THE BEST It's saucy, the right spice level that you ask for & the noodles are thin. Omg I loooooove the noodles they use. The regular pad Thai noodles are too thick for me. We get a spicy level 8 regularly and 10 every now and then and if I don't feel the steam coming out of my ears I honestly don't want it lol. Also, their Thai tea with boba , sooo delicious. I could really go on but I think you all get it.

Service is always great here! It was Thursday night and there was no wait. The curry is on the sweeter side but they do load it up with protein! The green curry is also loaded with bamboo shoots. This place does fill up on occasion and is a casual but great sit down spot.

While there are many different Thai options to choose from in Santee, unfortunately Thai Thai doesn't stand out too much. It's not to say that it's a bad Thai spot - with a hefty portion for what you get. But with that being said, the flavor wasn't all there. I found the pork to be a bit bland and not the rich succulent flavor I have been accustom too. But with that being said, if you've followed my reviews for a while, you know that we all get our "off days" and this rating can absolutely change with time! And I hope it does! Because those portion sizes are incredible!

All, this place looks really nice, one thing I don't like is the fact that there are no pictures on the menu, it's all descriptions only. I ordered hot green tea which they had, which always pleases me when I eat Asian food. My main dish was Pad Woon Sen with chicken, beef, pork and shrimp. It was delicious! I also ordered some sushi, a dragon roll (Shrimp tempura topped with fresh water eel, avocado and eel sauce) which I thoroughly enjoyed! We also ordered the chicken chow mein, which was excellent. For dessert I ordered the mango sticky rice. The service was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and I will be back again. And even though there were no pictures on the menu, I'm gonna give this place five stars.

5/18 visit Came in for dinner .. ordered the Sampler platter appetizer & the Panang Curry . First off - everything was overly fried from the egg rolls to gyoza & calamari rings & cream cheese won tons & shrimp tempura . When it is deep fried everything tends to lose flavor & texture . It was just very rubbery ... & dry . The curry lacked flavor & protein . The curry sauce was very watered down & lacked the savory flavor of coconut milk and had barely any protein . It was served with a side of rice . Overall , the dine in experience was decent I wouldn't come back .. their YELP check in for the appetizer is not being offered FYI and what bothered me the most was the fly & bugs flying around on my dine in .. I just expected more especially with their star rating . It's a hard pass for me to find here ever again.

Best Thai food in Santee! Huge serving of Thai tea. Favorite dish was the Boat Noodle Soup. The restaurant is nice, with amazing service. Will definitely be coming back here often.

Nestled in a small business park on Mast Blvd. This Thai restaurant has authentic decor and smells great when you enter. There isn't a ton of seating so if it's busy there may be a wait. We placed an online order for lunch and arrived before it was ready, so I purchased a coffee to sip on while we waited. Man, this coffee is HUGE!! I wasn't expecting a McDonalds size portion, but it was great and not too sweet. We got the Panang Curry Lunch Combo, that comes with a Gyoza and Egg Roll, and Chicken Sataay. the curry had a good flavor but was a little thinner than I've had at other places. Overall, it was a good meal and felt fresh and not too heavy. They are an Asian fusion place that also has dishes like Sushi and Orange chicken, so there should be something on the menu for everyone!

9/7/2024 - I was watching Feed Phil in Bangkok, Thailand and I started to crave Thai food. I ordered a Crab fried rice and Ocean Seafood. About $54 for pick up. Inside was redone, new tables and the AC was on. I don't eat there because the AC is never on. Will eat inside next time. The food was to be ready in 15 minutes. It took about 20 minutes. Well worth the wait. Fantastic flavors and lots of seafood. Use the white rice with the seafood sauce. Yum. 5 stars. Check photos out.

Tried this spot today for a late lunch. Ordered the Panang Curry and Laarb. Both were delicious and full of flavor. In my opinion though the curry might have been a bit too sweet but still good. The Laarb flavor was spot on. Only issue I had was the cook mixed up my meat selections and switched them between the items. It was fine I guess. Will be back.

The place has both sushi and Thai food. The place is cute inside. Customer services is ok, not great. I checked in on Yelp and it shows that I have free spicy edamame. I showed to the services and he came back told me it's expired. In the Yelp, it didn't have the expiration date and after you redeemed, the place will click on it. If it is expired, they should have work with Yelp to take it off the offer or switch to something else. Sushi: the roll without fresh fish is good. We got crunchy roll, dragon roll and ell roll are okay. Rainbow roll is bad. The fish is not fresh at all.

The lobster nachos were so good--flavorful, fresh, and honestly the highlight of the meal. The protein bowl didn't disappoint either, packed with good portions and tasted just as good as it looked. I ordered a bowl and a side of brussel sprouts and specified "no cheese" He was very friendly and professional. When he took my order, he added the note to the receipt "no cheese". Once my food was ready, I double checked the order to make sure there was no cheese. As soon as I opened the Brussel sprouts, I immediately noticed there was parmesan cheese on them. I went back to Justin and showed him there was cheese. He was very apologetic and said he would have them remade immediately. While I waited for the Brussel sprouts to be remade, i noticed 2 employees in the back mocking me and Miranda said to Abraham multiple times "no cheese, no cheese, make sure there's no cheese." They both were laughing hysterically and kept glancing over at me. At this point in time, I was getting agitated that they would make a mockery of such a serious allergy. My dairy allergy is serious and I could be hospitalized if I consume dairy. After waiting another 10 mins, Justin brought over the Brussel sprouts and before handing them to me, he double checked them again. When he opened them he noticed there was still traces of parmesan cheese. Again, Justin was very apologetic and explained that the parmesan cheese must have fallen into the tomatoes. He continued to apologize and offered another side item on the menu. Just was the only professional one and provided exceptional service. As for Miranda and Abraham, they should learn to take people's allergies seriously and not make a mockery of it. Very unprofessional. I hope management escalates this customer experience to ensure other customers don't have to deal with such rude and unprofessional employees like Miranda and Abraham. Please give Justin a raise because he is the only reason why I would ever give my business to this location again.

We were asked several times if we wanted a certain meat and what temperature we wanted it. One of our group of four likes things meadium and the rest medium rare. Somehow they made that happen all night. Amazing. The salad bar is not as big as some others but it had enough and is tasty. The meat selection was good and we like or loved just about everything. The only miss was the coconut fish. The person who had that said coconut was nowhere to be found and that it was, "okay." Over all it was a great night and we would certainly come back. They had many salads, breads, pastas, etc. I recommend a light salad (so you don't fill up) and then whatever sides you would typically eat with steak (e.g., mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and/or a roll). Your green and red marker is placed with the green up when you are open for meats. The team comes around with bacon wrapped steak, different steak options, ham, fish, bacon wrapped chicken, spicy chicken, grilled pineapple and the like. A few tips, just because you get an option, you don't need to eat it. Don't be wasteful, but don't eat what you don't like. It's not a sprint so slowly get more food and note your favorites and leave room for those. You can tell the servers what you like and they will come by when they have that option available. You can easily eat too much here. It's not worth the pain. Stop before you get to that spot. It's about $55 for dinner with meat. Think of what you would pay for at a steak house, about $55 for steak and sides. Drinks (the pina colada was a cool presentation) are extra and so are deserts from the dessert tray (again, like a steak house) Alex was a great server and helped share what the more popular cuts are. Taylor was a great waitress too. Cool art on the walls and an occasional loud birthday song in Portuguese with a drum and tambourine to be careful if you are sensitive to loud noises. A great experience on the pricier side but worth at least one trip for the experience.

I did my best to cover my child as I held back extreme, loss of words, rage until they realized what they had done. This is egregious! No apology or expressions of "love" could EVER make up for their horrendous neglect for basic food service safety. I would encourage ANYONE thinking of eating at this establishment to reconsider. How was the food? Absolutely disgusting! We had Pho and Ramen and I couldn't taste anything over the over salted "water", I wouldn't dare call it broth. Customer service: Other than what was already mentioned, it was the worst experience. There were four tops being serviced, yet they were in such a rush. I don't think we had finished our drink order before they started to walk away. When they came to check on us after everything was delivered to the table, I made by extreme displeasure known. We received empty apologies, no effort to "make it right" after eating less than half because I couldn't stomach it anymore. We decided to leave, so they brought the bill. I guess when you express you will NEVER come back to their establishment, there isn't much incentive to "make it right". We begrudgingly paid nearly $40 PLUS their 3% service fee for credit card transactions. As I told the staff, and who we believe to be the owner, we will never come back to this place and I would encourage others to do the same. The day can't come soon enough where their business fails and they are forced to shutter their doors.
