The food here is great but the service here is painfully slow!! I have come many times after calling in an order or even placing an online order and when you show up they always lose the order or have no idea they had an online order! We stopped in for a quick lunch before shopping at Mekong Market. Such a good choice! The food was all very good. The BBQ pork, which was recommended by our server, was pretty perfect. Just the right char and VERY tender and flavorful. The chicken pad Thai was good too! Our server was friendly and attentive but not annoying. Tasty authentic Thai food that's spicy! This has been my go to Thai restaurant. I'm a vegan and am able to find my favorites here to order or be delivered....Pad Se Ew or one of the other noodle dishes. I usually order it with tofu. I love the taste and though I'm a not a fan at all of any spicy food, you can let them know you want no spicy, no heat for your food. I used to order a lot but it seems they don't deliver anymore so now I order for pick up. :-( I have ordered the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mow and Chow Mein and all were very tasty and enough food to feed a couple of hungry men! We love Thai Spices! They are very accommodating. Their Massaman curry is fantastic but we prefer it without potatoes and add in bell peppers. It is delicious!! They never disappoint. The Pad Thai at Thai Spices is one of the best I have had here in AZ. Very flavorful and delicious. The Pad Thai alone was enough to ensure repeat business from me. The Pad Thai is very good, but their BBQ Pork is SPECIAL!!!! I get their lunch combo with Pad Thai, BBQ Pork, spring roll, rice and soup for $11.50 and it is a steal. That BBQ Pork is just amazingly delicious. I can't speak highly enough of it. I've also tried their spring rolls, coconut shrimp and crab puff appetizers. All are very good. Recently tried this restaurant and loved it! The food was delicious ( I got the pad see ew with beef) and I definitely think this is the best Thai food in the Phoenix area. My boyfriend got the bbq pork and thought it was very tasty. Also, the place is super clean and the service is fast. We came in during a slow time, and the employees were completing tasks, cleaning, etc. and we didn't see them on their phones or being distracted once. The reason for the two stars is that, while we ended up taking much of it home and eating it later... the value was a bit low for what we paid... and, indeed, there are better places to go for Thai food. I cannot believe I just paid $60 for this. We ordered Pad Kee Mow, Appetizer platter, Pineapple Fried Rice and Lad Na with an extra side of noodles. The Pad Kee Mow had zero sauce on it. It was dry noodles with pepper, chilis and vegetables. The appetizer platter had cold cream cheese crab rangoons, cold spring rolls, cold sweet potato "fries", with warm chicken skewers. The chicken wasn't bad and the rest crumbled as you bit into it. The pineapple fried rice and Lad Na were the only two items that were edible. I'm sure I could have made due with the other items but after spending $60 and driving 20 minutes to pick it, I shouldn't have to. Disappointing. Very disappointing. read more
