Very good! Great owners and great food! Perhaps the most authentic Thai I've had in utah. Quite a bit sweeter and watered down compared to Thailand .. still no complaints. The building they are in needs an update and the staff could be a little more involved but I really can't complain. I go to restaurants for food. I'm Thai and have lived in Thailand for about 10 years. I've also lived in the States for about 10+ years. I've tried probably close to 15 different Thai restaurants in many different states. This by far, is THE most authentic restaurant and the best testing Thai food I've ever come across. And in Layton, UT of all places! Love this place! Get their Panang Curry, it'll be the best you'll ever have. Get the Pad Mee Korat, which personally for me, is far better than any old Pad Thai you can get. Best Thai food I've had in Utah, every time I'm here I get great service and such friendly waitresses, never had a problem, the food is amazing! I've tried quite a few dishes and by far the yellow curry and the cashew chicken is my favorite. Green curry is also really good and the mango stick rice desert is to die for. I even order extra food to take home for later every time I'm here.. It's definitely a hole in the wall type place. I've tried pad Thai down the street and that place is a 2 out of 10 compared to Thai Rod Dee. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone, and everyone I've brought with me can vouch and say it's good food. Fourth time going, had to write a review. It's the best Thai food north of Salt Lake City. At first appearance the building is old but the food is excellent. Green Curry a must! The owner makes her own curry pastes from scratch. Pad Thai, drunken noodles and another rice noodle dish have been awesome. Don't let the building scare you away, the food is very good. Enjoy! The red beef curry and green papaya salad made our eyeballs sweat in a good way and the flavors were spot-on.
