pretty busy Saturday dinner and we waited a bit more than average -- they still working things out. Visuals were done really well Spice for our dishes were inconsistent Pad Thai - Thai hot - literally almost zero spice (the kitchen might have forgotten) Fried crab rice - medium - no spice Kao soi - hot - actually spicy (saucy spice) Tom yum something soup - hot - pretty spicy (pepper spicy) -- this one spiciest Overall ratings Moo ping 8.5/10 -grilled well, sauce is a little salty but flavorful! Chicken Wings 6.5/10 - not that bad but not that good Crab fried rice 8/10 The amount of crab was fair, and the flavors was really balanced! Tom yum nam khon soup 8/10 - should have pay the extra $5 for seafood the the broth to taste better, I got it with chicken Pad Thai 7/10 - not bad - just not spicy for requesting Thai hot Kao soi 5/10 - not a fan of the noodles; the noodles were a little chewy in the broth and the crunch was a little hard - the sauce to me tastes like the light pink buldak ramen and thai curry merged into a dish

Veggie Spring rolls - Peanut sauce is amazing. Not on the menu but can ask!

After an awesome experience at Thai Villa (sister restaurant in Fishers) we knew that we had to give Thai Prime a try. We had a large party and the whole staff was very accommodating. Co-owner Chariya was our server and made a great impression right off the bat. The place has a large menu and I always appreciate when a server makes suggestions/shares common favorites. Not that it mattered because everything ordered was equally as impressive. All the cocktails were tasty and strong. Fans favorite meals include the Yellow Curry, Basil Fried rice, Tom Kha soup, and Cashew Chicken. Restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Felt intimate in the sense that our large party could converse easily. Will be coming back!!

Came here for lunch and already want to return. This beautifully decorated former Wahlburgers is a great addition to Carmel. For only $15 you choose from at least 10 dishes that come with noodle soup, salad with that great ginger dressing, a spring roll, rice and your entree. Hubs had the basil shrimp and I had the cashew chicken. We both could only finish half the plate and it was delicious! Not sure if I liked red curry, the manager brought out a sample bowl of the sauce and it was fabulous! We poured it on our rice and gobbled it down! Service was great and if you are on a lunch hour schedule, you can get in and out quickly.

Really enjoyed Thai Prime. A great addition to Carmel and the best Thai I've had in Indy. Will be back. The decor of the space is also very cool/upscale. The service is only a couple weeks in but they did a nice job and we had a lot of people checking in with us.

I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday and overall really enjoyed it. The space was bright and airy. We were seated at a half booth which was clean and comfortable. Service was friendly all around. Everything we had was tasty. I'm knocking off a star bc I felt like my dumplings weren't as fresh as they could have been. I really liked the taste but they came out lukewarm. Additionally, as much as I liked the calamari, it was the same. They both came out so fast it seems they were already prepared. The Pad Kee Mao was great!

lychee breeze - very vodka-forward. didn't really have a lychee taste.

first off, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! it's nice to dine in a pretty space. it just elevates the entire experience. for appetizers, we started off with calamari and the thai curry crisps. the calamari was a hit with the table! the thai curry crisps are vegetarian (and possibly vegan but i would ask) and were pretty good but a little bland. the menu stated there were 6 or 8 pcs but the waitress advised that it was only 3 so just fyi. two of us ordered the lychee breeze from the cocktail menu and it was very vodka forward. we were expecting it to be a bit more balanced. another guest ordered an old-fashioned and said it was also quite strong... you at least know they don't skimp on alcohol lol. for my entree, i ordered the yellow curry with tofu at a medium spice level. it was on the sweeter side and the potatoes were under-cooked. i'm not sure that i would order it again but i enjoyed the consistency of the sauce (not too soupy) and definitely want to try some of their other curries. the medium spice level was actually very mild, so if you prefer spicy, i would order hot. my friend ordered the thom kha at the medium spice level. i had a bite and it was delicious!! i would definitely order that myself and would recommend it. another friend ordered the crispy red snapper with the mango salad sauce - it looked amazing !!! the presentation was just gorgeous and he loved it. unfortunately, he stated the fish itself was devoid of any seasoning and the only flavor came from the mango sauce which was on the side. my boyfriend ordered the seafood madness at a mild spice level. it was sweeter than he expected but enjoyed it. he would order it again but would prefer a higher spice level. the employees were friendly and helpful. the environment was beautiful and comfortable. the food was okay and the drinks were too strong. hopefully there will be some improvement as they get the hang of things. we still had a good time, though.

This place was pretty good! The decor inside was very nice. A mix of hip and elegant. There is also outdoor seating as well and cool shaped booths inside. Our server was nice and attentive. She was knowledgeable about menu items and checked on us throughout. The food I will say was nothing super spectacular. The presentation of it all was very nice but the flavor just fell flat for a few dishes for what the price point is. I got the tom ka gai and chose to add shrimp which is an extra $3. Other places around Indy shrimp is an option that is included when ordering the soup. I got medium spicy which wasn't very spicy to me and the soup was very onion heavy. Our cocktails were all poured with a very strong hand. In my lychee cocktail the first sip about knocked me out of the booth. So if you like strong pours- these are for you. I like a balance so they weren't necessarily down my alley. Overall I recommend if you want an ambient Thai restaurant to visit on the north side and maybe if you order a different dish than what we got you will enjoy. I'd give it another chance knowing what I do now.

This spot was located where the old Wahlburger used to be in Carmel. Seeing the transformation was "mind blowing"! It is definitely Thai-themed and I loved every bit of it. Is it intimate....not really, but very nice, nonetheless. Hubby and I went Valentine's night and it was crowded. We waited about 10 mins before being seated. We were greeted by our server "Heaven". Things started out a bit rocky, but quickly turned around. The cocktails were delicious and refreshing. Let me tell you....I wanted everything on the menu. But we settled on....house salad, chicken wings, Thai Basil Fried rice, Garlic & Pepper w/Chicken, Pad See Ew w/Beef. I feel as if I'm leaving something out.....Yeah, Spring Rolls. Apologies for the late post, but this place is a MUST visit!!!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has great ambiance, service was well-paced and friendly, and the food was delicious. We tried the crab rangoon and shrimp cocktail in the restaurant and got takeout pineapple curry and Penang curry. The crab rangoon were crisp and flavorful, and the lime sauce with the shrimp cocktail was bright and unexpected. The curries were both wonderful, but be warned that "mild" is subjective. Our dishes were quite a bit spicier than we were expecting!

I had dinner here with a friend around 6pm on a Wednesday night and they were already pretty busy! I wasn't sure if a reservation was needed but was glad we had one. They use Toast as their reservation platform if you want to make a reservation online instead of calling. Our table was ready and waiting for us with a fancy reserved sign. The atmosphere is lovely with a fern motif on the glasses and plates with artificial ferns tastefully cascading from the ceiling and walls. The menu is extensive and I went with a Massaman curry with chicken to start with a classic on a first visit. It was delicious. The flavors were nicely balanced and I even ate some of the extra sauce with the serving spoon to not waste it. I ordered it at a medium spice level and there was no heat, which was fine as the flavor was excellent. I never know if places adjust spice level to "Indiana spicy" so tend to err on the too mild side on a first visit. Probably safe to move up the scale if you do want some heat. I had a Siam Sunset cocktail which was something along the lines of a pineapple margarita. It was a good match with the curry which also had pineapple. Service was good and food came out surprisingly fast. Parking in the underground garage is easy and free. Happy to have this new spot in the area!

Celebrated my nieces birthday. She loves Thai food. So she spotted this place on Tik- Toc I believe. So we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The food was good and the decor is very nice. Our party of 8 was very satisfied. We'll be back. They've just been open 2 weeks. Congratulations!

I recently had dinner at Thai Prime and was really looking forward to it. I love Thai cuisine and had heard great things from early reviews. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation, but was told they don't take reservations on weekends and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. When we arrived on Saturday evening, we were asked if we had a reservation, which caught me off guard. That said, they were able to accommodate us and quickly seated us at a table for two, which we appreciated. The restaurant has a classy, well-lit interior -- bright enough to comfortably read the menu without needing your phone flashlight (which is always a plus). It was a busy night and they appeared a bit short-staffed. Our greeter was also our server -- and possibly the owner -- and she was incredibly kind and attentive. She immediately noticed we didn't have water and took care of that right away. We started with crab rangoons and spring rolls, along with a Sapporo draft for me and a ginger beer for my wife. There was a bit of a delay with both drinks and appetizers, but our server acknowledged it and made sure the drinks were brought out while we waited. The appetizers arrived lukewarm, but they were still very tasty. Because our table was on the smaller side, we decided not to order our entrées at the same time as the appetizers -- and in hindsight, we should have. There was another wait after we finished the apps before we were able to place our entrée order, and then about 20 more minutes before the food arrived. My advice: order everything up front! That said, once the entrées hit the table, they were absolutely fantastic -- piping hot and packed with flavor. I followed other reviewers' advice and bumped up the spice level. We both ordered "Thai hot," which ended up being more of a medium compared to other Thai restaurants I've visited, but still very enjoyable. When the check arrived, our server was very apologetic about the wait, which we genuinely appreciated. It's clear they're working through some growing pains, which is understandable for a newer restaurant. Once they fine-tune their front- and back-of-house processes, I think this place will really thrive. If you plan to visit soon, just bring a little patience -- the food is definitely worth it!

The interior has a very calm, zen-like vibe, simple, cute, and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They kept refilling my water so often that I probably drank my entire daily water intake during dinner... not complaining though! Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had in a while. We started with the shrimp tom yum soup and papaya salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. With a recommendation from the owner, we ordered the shrimp pad thai and pork basil for our main dishes. Great choice, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. One small detail I really appreciated was the dinnerware. The plates and dishes were beautiful and clearly not the cheap kind you sometimes see. It added a nice touch to the whole dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and as a bonus, the bathroom was clean (which always scores extra points in my book). Free parking is also available. Definitely a spot I'll come back to the next time a Thai food craving hits.

The spring roll is crispy with a cabbage filling and a dipping sauce. The salad was just ok (maybe bagged). I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. There is a small up charge for shrimp, but the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Their handmade sauce is light and delightful, not too sweet. I had the medium heat, which was the perfect amount of spice for me. All the vegetables were super fresh (not frozen) and there were a lot of veggies. I loved my entree and would highly recommend. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai, which is his go-to entree. He devoured his Pad Thai and said it was good. Our server, Matt was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly, water filled and plates cleared. Different people handle the food and money, which is how it should be. The dining room is upscale with a subtle Thai ambiance. The small bar is inviting and the booth seating is comfortable. Soft rock plays overhead. This is a perfect spot for date night. The dining room is immaculate (just as I like). The restrooms are spotless. There is free parking in front, but it can get tight during peak hours.
