It's a bit hidden from the main roads, but well worth a visit. More than 'just' Indian food it is, as the name states, Asian Fusion. I especially loved the Samosas, which were heavenly. We had zero complaints regarding the food. Every last dish we ordered was delish. So why did I not give 5 stars? Well the manager/owner (seemed to be the person in charge) would basically only talk to the males at the table. Any questions or requests from the ladies were simply ignored. The food is amazing. I'm not usually a fan of Indian cuisine but I'll never say that again. The menu is enormous and everything is so fresh and flavorful. I had the veggie samosas and the mango chicken kabob. I loved every bite. This is my fourth visit and the food is excellent. Service can be a bit slow and the atmosphere is a bit noisy ( overhead music is too loud ). I also find the large screen TVs distracting. Cartoons on one screen and a cooking show on another during a previous dinner visit. I'll continue to visit and recommend Fusion 9 to friends. read more

It was my first time trying indo-Chinese food, so the server helped recommend a lot of the popular items on the menu. Server was attentive, they helped us move tables when the sun was in my eyes. The space is used very nicely and booths were tall and felt more private. Twisted Momos 8/10 I like the spicy savory sauce on the dumpling and side sauce (turmeric and tangy?) this was the spiciest out of the 3 items but not intolerable Peri peri wings 7/10 We thought they were going to toss it on the sauce like it was said on the menu, was a little confused Sauce is a tangy mayo based sauce - pretty solid but it was not spicy like the menu said (spicy and zesty) it was good but I was craving chicken that was saucier and spicier Korma curry 8.5/10 I usually get spicy tomato based curry, so this was very different and I enjoyed it! Korma is supposed to be creamy aromatic cashew curry, and has a splash of coconut It was done really well, lamb tasted really good, we got medium spice and it slightly built up if you kept eating it Butter naan 6/10 Could use some more butter, didn't really taste it ): I saw they had a full bar, but they don't have any signature cocktails. I think I would try a drink if they do. Overall, I really love their Indian curry and I would like to try their other curry items and naan flavors! read more

We wanted to try a new local restaurant with interesting cuisine options for date night which brought us to Fusion 9. The food was so flavorful and the service was friendly and attentive! To start, I enjoyed a nice glass of pinot grigio while we perused the menu. With the help of Varun's suggestions, we ordered the chicken twisted momos, chicken Manchurian, tandoori shrimp, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Everything was delicious and spiced to our liking, which was 'mild'. Portion sizes were generous and we enjoyed leftovers for several days. I almost selfishly don't want to share this gem and keep it to ourselves! So new that the beer taps aren't hooked up yet! Still managed a traditional Flying Horse and Double Dog Dare moscato though. Comfortable booth seating and tables that share a comfy wall bench seat - nice decor. Great flavor in the Dynamite Momos - got ours spicy so all the flavor up front and heat eased in later. Medium heat on our blazing shrimp bombs and I'm loving the creamy sauce and crispy bell peppers. We will definitely back to try main courses - we already had dinner plans but stopped here before and were pleasantly surprised! I used to go here all the time when it was under a different name--Bheema's Kitchen--so I was a little worried about how one of my favorite go-to comfort spots had changed. And I won't lie, it has changed...but for the better! While I think the previous butter chicken recipe balanced the spiciness better, I like that this new recipe is creamier and slightly sweeter. It feels more like a true "comfort food" in that regard. The naan, however, is a HUGE improvement. It was good before, but now it's extremely fluffy, perfectly buttery, and seasoned with care. And that doesn't even begin to cover the atmosphere. Cozy yet modern--very classy. This is coupled with some truly top notch service. My food came out quickly, the host/server was very kind, a man who I assume to be either the manager or owner kept telling me about the restaurant and asking if I needed anything, and the place itself is practically spotless. The food is really good and tastes very fresh and delicious. I have eaten in the restaurant once and gotten carryout a few times. It seems to be more of a carryout restaurant. The service was a little awkward when I dined in and more people showed up to carryout than dine in. We ordered to go and the food was absolutely delicious. Best Indian food on the northside as we have tried many. Chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala had great flavor and I liked that the onions & peppers had a slight crunch to them still. We started with the desi pepper pockets-- soooo good and quite spicy. Samosa were delicious but we only got two and menu says three (which really didn't seem right for the price) so they should update that. Garlic naan was fantastic. Everything was wrapped nice. They really want people to visit and sit down. The restaurant is very nice and clean. Let's keep this place in business so the northside isn't just burger joints!!! read more

Stopped by to get a break from the home office for lunch. My first time visiting and was feeling up for some Indian food. They delivered! The service was attentive. The food was delivered hot. I got vegetable samosas, which were flavored well, but my favorite part was the fresh and crispy dough on the outside. Really well done and delicious. I ordered medium Chicken Tikka Marsala because I am basic. Since it was my first time, I wanted to try Medium spice before asking for hot spicy. It was pretty mild, so I would probably ask for hot spicy next time. The rice was PERFECTLY prepared, not mushy or sticky. The chicken was high quality and this recipe also had medium chunks of green bell pepper and red onion in it, which was a pleasant surprise. Great way t to get your veggies in and they were cooked too just the right balance between crispy and mushy. The Naan was served hot and was buttery with a generous amount of garlic, delicious. The ambiance was nice and the music was very chill as opposed to loud ballywood ballads some Indian restaurants have traditionally had. I recommend this restaurant for dine in or take out as I had to take half of mine home as left overs and it reheated well! read more

This review will come off as an exaggeration of my experience. I assure you it is not. We have eaten here about 6 times during the time it was Bheema's and now Fusion 9. The food has always been great. However, the service, lack of awareness and overall disfunction will prevent us from ordering from Fusion 9 again. Yesterday, we placed an order for 3 entrees and naan for carryout. I arrived at the restaurant approx. 35 minutes after the order was placed. I approached the hostess, who was very sweet, advised me the kitchen did not have our order. She proceeded to check with a man at the front desk who brushed her off momentarily before she confirmed they had the order. The man working the register was now engaged. I could see him writing down the order from the screen onto a sheet of paper. He told me the kitchen was working on it and it would be "5-7 minutes." I responded with, "Is that really 5-7 minutes or more like 25," because I have had another experience at this restaurant in which they had not started our order upon arrival. He assured me it would take no longer than 7 minutes. I took a seat in a booth near the entrance which was next to a family of 3 that were seated prior to my arrival. As I was waiting, there was another gentleman who came in to pick up an order. The same scenario played out--"we are working on your order and it should be ready in 15 minutes," stated one of the men working. A third person came in to pick up their order. That individual was told they didn't even have an order for them at all and the customer left. A fourth person came in to pick up their order. Spoiler alert--the order had not been started and the staff wrote down the order and took it back to the kitchen. A fifth person has now entered for pick-up for an order that has not been started. At this point, I have been waiting 30 minutes for an order that was placed over an hour ago. The hostess is now telling us the kitchen is prioritizing the dine in orders and that is the reason for the delay. The problem is there was only three tables in the restaurant--a three top, a four top, a six top that already had their food. Remember the family of three in the booth when I arrived? Turns out they had been waiting for 45 minutes and had not even received their appetizers or soups. Since they had witnessed the same events transpire as I did, they opted to cancel their order and left the restaurant without getting any of their food. I chose to cancel my order as there was no indication anyone in the restaurant was going to be served their order. I take no satisfaction in writing this review. The staff made little effort to address the lack of service or do anything to try and retain anyone's business. I was offered a soda after waiting for 20 minutes. No one else was offered any sort of compensation--no discount, no incentive to come back and give them another try. The restaurant even asked the family of three cancelling their order what they did eat and was going to charge them for it before realizing they never received a single item of their order. When I told them I was going to cancel my order and advised them I would be writing a review detailing everything I had witnessed first hand, there was no effort to try and get me to stay, no apology from management, no attempt to get me to come back and no effort to salvage the four other people still waiting around the register for orders that were never started. I would not recommend Fusion. read more
