I think the food here is amazing. Everything is cooked very well and I would especially recommended adding tofu to your dishes. The only thing that didn't amaze me was the service. The hostess seemed annoyed and the waitress seemed annoyed. The only time the waitress was nice was when we were tipping, but overall good food.

Order of one spring roll!

A small group of us from the office stopped in here for lunch the other day, luckily it was a nice afternoon and the 7 of us were able to take up both of the outdoor tables as this is a very small location. Though there was a larger group of us, the service was good. I was pleased with the selection of dishes and liked that each person was able to choose the spice level for their dish. I ordered my Tom Ka at level 3, though it was not as spicy as I would have expected, it was delicious! I also ordered a Thai spring roll. The portion was huge -- I could have split my order of one spring roll with someone else. The peanut sauce had just the right amount of spice. The lunch specials that some in our party ordered were not much smaller than the dinner portions and included a choice of soup or order of wontons, a great deal price-wise. This is definitely going to stay on my list of places to swing through for lunch!

We ordered takeout while staying at a nearby hotel, and the owner thoughtfully provided extra plates with a sincere smile--an appreciated and memorable touch. We ordered the Pad Basil Stir-Fry, Pad Khing (extra chicken), and Pineapple Fried Rice (extra chicken)--all were outstanding. I wish I could have added photos. My wife, our two kids (ages 9 and 11), and I all absolutely loved the food. Highly recommend.

Portions were on the smaller side, especially for the price--we spent around $60 for two entrées and an appetizer, which felt a bit steep for the quality. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated from the outside, which set high expectations going in. However, the service didn't match. Our server rarely checked on us, even though we were seated right next to the counter. At one point, we also felt a bit rushed. We were repeatedly asked if we were done, despite it not being close to closing time and there being plenty of open tables. We were still eating--literally had one spring roll left--and a staff member tried to take the plate after we had already said we were finishing it. There are definitely a few things that could be improved. Overall, not the best Thai food experience in Denver, unfortunately.

The mix of spice and lime elevated the coconut broth. I like that I was able to choose the spice level. The Tom Kha was served as a soup only which I was able to finish on my own. This could easily be a shareable dish if served with rice or if looking to kick up the comfort-food level a notch. Hey Bangkok! is clean, with plenty of seating, and the employees were kind and friendly. They checked on me several times to ensure I was comfortable and had all I needed to enjoy my meal. I would love to come back to try their other dishes when I'm in the neighborhood.

Our server pay attention to details & gave very prompt service. My boyfriend eat Thai hot & he compliment that they actually cook Thai hot for his pad krapow & he absolutely enjoy his dish. I ordered chicken & rice and I think it is very good portion for $ & very tasty as well. I deducted one star because I wishes they have more seasonal menu rotation, so I can try something new when I come visit here. The menu is pretty limited in my view. I want Pork congee or Khao khuk kapi in the rotation menu. Our go to spot when we visited Denver Botanical garden :)
