As far as Thai in Everett goes this is the best place I've been to. For some reason I always end up going to these places when they are dead. This place is HUGE and when events are going on at the Comcast Arena and weekends this place get's busy, but when I went my group was 1 of 3 groups there. Service was good, food was authentic and delicious, and the windows really allow a lot of great light in. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you are wanting Thai in Everett. read more

Fast (we did takeout and it was super-quick) and one of the most affordable ethnic eats in N Everett for what you get. Two relatively decent-sized entrees and a soup and spring rolls for less than $20. Literally, good to go. Tasty, not too heavy (yay! for those of us who care about maintaining our waistline). We've been coming here for some time and it seems to be a little hit or miss. When they're good, they're good; some of their specials have been terrific, especially the seafood ones. But the standards seem to be a little lacking. I only ordered the Pad Se Ew once, and that's my favorite Thai dish, because it was so bland. Hmmm, first time ordering from this place and I was quite disappointed with my delivery order. I read another review that said their food tasted as if it were cooked, sat for awhile, reheated in the microwave, then delivered. I feel like I had a similar experience. I ordered the Pahd Thai and the noodles were all stuck together like glue. I also ordered the Crispy Sweet & Sour Chicken. Possibly because of the styrofoam containers the food was delivered in, the fried crispy tempura batter on the chicken was soft and really had the texture of having been reheated in the microwave. No sweet & sour sauce noticed. Also the menu stated this dish was served on a bed of crispy basil -- mine came on a bed of wilted shredded lettuce. The best part of my dinner order was not without fault either, unfortunately. In great anticipation and to fulfill a craving I'd been having, I ordered a dessert of Sweet Sticky Rice with Sweet Fresh Mango. This was by far the best dish of the whole meal with great flavor and the mangos were very sweet & fresh. The problem was the sticky rice. Although great flavor, it was just glumped together, again like a pile of glue. I would possibly give Thai Gusto a try at the actual restaurant to see if indeed it's better to get hot food right out of the kitchen verses the perils of ordering the food sitting in styrofoam containers for the 60 min it took for delivery from a place that's just 4.3 miles away from my house. read more

Good food, good service (came in on a quiet Wed lunch). Pretty typical of what I find in most small to medium size Thai places. Nice attempt at an updated, modern interior falls short when it comes to the flooring: Lose the dirty old carpeting people! Maybe go to the modern industrial look of colored concrete? I went in with high hopes since they have my favorite dish the basil fried rice. I haven't found a good replacement for this since I left Skagit county. Needless to say I was very disappointed. It's labeled on the menus as spicy so I expected spicy. What I got what bland rice with undercooked veggies and dry chicken. I also ordered the I Love Broccoli, not knowing what to expect. Well I got broccoli and more broccoli with a side of broccoli and some chewy beef and even though I requested it to be spicy as well it was more sweet than anything else. The only redeeming quality was that it was delivered in less time than predicted and the delivery guy was very friendly. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone who actually expects to get whet they ordered. Oh and I paid $2.50 for a coke, not a fountain drink or a 20oz bottle but a can of coke. read more

We waited 2 hours for our food. An hour and a half into the wait they served one plate, then 20 minutes later served 2 more and then 20 minutes after that served one more plate. At that point we were still waiting for the other 4 people in our party to get their food but we had pretty much had it at that point. The food we did get was mediocre at best. And the place smelled like a septic tank. The cherry on the Sunday was we noticed the waitress was wearing a shirt that had one word across the front: "SORRY". Terribly slow service. They can't handle any volume at all. After waiting an hour for food and only just getting an appetizer, we wanted to leave and they did not offer any assistance, compensation, or even an apology for the horrendous service. I eat at a lot of different Thai restaurants due to work-related travel, but I always enjoy coming back to Thai Gusto. The place is classy, the staff/service excellent and makes a good overall impression on business clients. The food is excellent - certainly the best I've discovered in Snohomish County - and rates equal with any Thai food in nearby Seattle or the Eastside. My absolute favorite is the Pad Kee Mao, but all the usually favorites are excellent too (pad thai, swimming rama, tom kah gai, etc.) The ginger chicken is also to be recommended for those unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. All the food comes as hot as you like it, or not at all, if your not a 4 on the heat scale like me You'd be hard-pressed to find anything bad on the menu. Definitely my top choice when in Everett or Snohomish County (close to the freeway, btw.) read more

We just moved to the area and tried this place because we were looking for a new Thai restaurant to replace our favorite one in Southcenter. Sadly we're still looking. My kids got the Pad Thai and it looked promising it wasn't orange but when you taste it, it tasted heavily of tomato paste not tamarind as authentic pad Thai is supposed to. Hubby's Rad Na was soupy and the noodles mushy and over cooked. We got fresh rolls and sate for appetizers and the sate was pretty good a little salty but the fresh rolls were disappointing. read more

I have been here two times for lunch. The first time was so-so. Today, I waited several minutes to be seated, then several more minutes to receive water. There are only 3 customers total here. At first when I saw this place, I thought to myself, "curry nachos? phad thai burrito!" Come to find out this place is just a Thai place, not a mexi thai fusion restaurant. One could one only hope, right? However, as misleading as the name of the restaurant may be, this place is actually quite good. I had the pleasure of trying this place out for lunch. Their lunch combinations were great! The prices was very fair, especially considering the full plate of food you get. For ~$10 you get an entree rice, and a side of Phad Thai. Not to mention a starting cup of sweet and sour soup! As an everyday "Thai for lunch" type of mood, this place is worth a try if you're in the Downtown Everett area. This review is not about the food. I'm not even sure how people can stay and eat a meal. We walked in, sat down and immediately left. The foggy windows was a dead giveaway but I didn't imagine the smell would be so strong - mold. Way too strong to ignore and certainly to do so while eating food. Usually the food is good, the customer service is lacking. I usually order on GrubHub. I ordered some Thai on Saturday evening, never received the food even though it was paid for. I spent three hours waiting, called Thai Gusto on three different occasions to verify my food was on the way. It turned out that their printer had been jammed, and they did not know that they deliver for grub hub..... According to their management. I called GrubHub talked to a costumer rep who was super helpful he was laughing at the fact that the manager didn't know where the orders were coming from. read more

I love Thai Gusto!!! This is one of my favorite places to eat in Everett. The staff is so friendly here, and the dishes are authentic and tasty. I have been to Thailand and always try to find Phad Thai that tastes as good as what I had there (it's a dish that often gets killed over here). I ask them to make it for me slightly differently than what's on the menu (I ask for it "very dry" with limes on the side, and I ask for soft tofu instead of fried, and I add the chiles from the tray--- totally high maintenance, I know!). But it is sooo good that way. I gave four stars instead of five because things do vary slightly depending on who is cooking, but it's always very good. Highly recommend! read more

Their food is good, not great. BUT, I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 3 because they deliver to North Everett ON SUNDAYS. I don't think there is another Thai place that delivers on Sundays in Everett (let alone be open on a Sunday). That alone deserves an extra star. Todays date is Dec 6th 2017. I ate at this, my favorite restaurant last night with my family. We were told it was under new management, it had new owners. We sent back the Tom Kha once because it tasted bitter. It returned with a slightly different color, a littler thicker but still nothing like the Tom Kha I had ever tasted and still with a bitter aftertaste. We decided to leave it alone and not eat it and told the waitress it wasn't good enough to eat. The crispy chicken was also extremely salty. I paid the bill and was told I would get a 10% discount on the Tom Kha because I hadn't liked the soup. I was expecting not to be charged at all for the soup since we had spent over $125.00 at this meal. That was enough for me. To the Thai Gusto that introduced me to that wonderful soup Tom Kha, goodbye forever. read more
