Hopeful that this place would have some decent Thai food..... what were we thinking. The food came out fast but the curry was awful and allllll the meat here is slimed, there's no other way to describe it. Just rubbery and it was hard to tell what was a veggie and what was meat. The Tom Ka soup was straight up horrible. It was more like a gravy you would put over biscuits, thick and gelatinous, with no flavor at all and big wilted spinach in it. This is one of my favorite Chinese places in the area (Although you've got to try Mandarin Pine, too.) The food is hot and you don't wait too long; and when you get it, it's good. Try to stick with the fried rices, seafoods, etc. because the chicken with sauce (lemon chicken, almond chick, whatever) isn't as good as some other places'. My favorites are their honey walnut shrimp, their curry ran goons, and their pork fried rice. The Thai tea is REALLY good (a bit sweet), and the normal tea they serve is perfect for the meal. My favorite thing about this place is that it's family owned and it shows- the staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely go here if you appreciate good service. read more

I love the food here and the woman who runs the place is a real treat. However, on my latest delivery their delivery driver decided to make snide comments about not receiving a tip. Delivery is a service that I am already charged for with my order, additionally this is a Washington state business so their staff make a living wage already. I was highly offended by the demand that I give extra for a service I already paid for. read more

We went here for dinner when another place we were headed turned out to be closed. The server was so friendly and helpful when we arrived. She was also very prompt in here service throughout the meal. I had a Thai item from the varied menu and was pleased. Stopped here on the way back home from CDA one Sunday. It was the only place that had decent reviews, was open, and promised Thai food. The people working the front were very nice but I can't say I'm a fan of the Pad Thai. The noodles were very wide rice noodles (not what I'm used to in Pad Thai), and there were a lot of them. No crushed peanuts, no wedge of lime, no bean sprouts. Just a pile of noodles dotted with previously frozen shrimp in peanut sauce. The taste was okay but it wouldn't be my first choice if I return to this neck of the woods. My advice: stick to the Chinese part of the menu. Ordered pad thai and it tasted like rice noodles soaked in peanut butter and water. No cilantro, hardly any bean sprouts, probably three green onions total, overall just the worst pad thai i've had. Wendy is such a nice person. She always remembers me and what I like to order. I recommend the fried tofu with peanut sauce (not on the menu). I also enjoy pad se ew and the Singapore noodles. They are very accommodating. Never any argument about my freakish dislike of onions and bell peppers. Great food, good prices, amazing customer service. Once I forgot my wallet at work and Wendy let me come back later to pay. I was so embarrassed to have eaten her yummy food then not be able to pay. I always give her a big tip! Marginal. Good spring rolls, but overall marginal at best. This soup as described previously is lacking in much flavor, few veggies but mostly what seems like canned broth. Tofu was in the soup completely un cooked, had a couple bites and decided it was not worth the risk...keep looking! read more

Recently had dinner here with a friend from out of town and food was pretty solid all around. I usually order take out from here and mostly just order off the Thai part of the menu, but we decided to try some of their Chinese fare and I'm glad we gave it a shot. We started off with an order of spring rolls (shrimp) and then split an oder of Mongolian Beef and and order of House Chow Mein. Both entrees were HUGE portions and after eating our fair share we still took home at least half for leftovers. The best part about this restaurant is the wonderful friendly service of the staff. We hit up this little spot for some Father's Day lunch with a larger group of 8. We were accommodated very well, as it was on the slower side and a later lunch. The server was very nice and did an excellent job, she was super sweet and even gave us a couple extra appetizer pieces to accommodate the group, since 6 pieces came with each of the appies. The crab rangoon were the best I have ever had, they were amazing and I don't usually even like that dish, so top not TG! I ordered the spicy Thai noodles and they were lackluster at best, fairly dry and there were no veggies in the dish at all. My Thai iced tea was delicious, very well done. I tried several other dishes (can't remember all the names) and they were sort of hit or miss, the pad thai was good, very saucy, but one dish with a lot of green beans was not very good. I was hopeful going into this restaurant.. when the egg drop soup came out that was thick as syrup, I started having some doubts. Next up they brought out a petri dish with a miniature microwaved egg roll on it. Tasted like gummy card board. Next up, the peanut sauce came. Ever had melted peanut butter with a spoonful of sugar in a bowl? Imagine that but 10 times worse. The consistency was thinner than my egg drop soup.. (that's not okay.) When my pad thai came out, I said a little prayer and hoped to God it would be decent. I quickly noticed that it looked as if my pad thai had been topped with a few ladles of tomato soup... it wasnt just pad thai, it was pad thai soup. The flavor was there... but it wasn't a flavor any pad thai dish should have. I took 3 bites and decided to call it quits. About 5 min later is when the HORRIFIC stomach pain began. For the next hour I was hunched over in a ball moaning and groaning, and gagging myself. AFTER 3 BITES. I can't even imagine what would happen if you ate the entire dish!! Thank God for Pepto Bismol.. I will NEVER come back to this place. If someone tells you the pad thai is good, they are lying and trying to kill you. P.S. This is a small friendly family run restaurant. It has take out and and many fine choices on the menu. Very good service and they will change items on your order with a smile. A friend introduced me a while back now, because she liked the chinese food and service there. I LOVE the Thai there! The restaurant accomodates my diet (vegan) and lets me order anywhere on the menu! I am not able to go there very often (because I only eat out once a month, and there are other good places to eat in the valley), but EVERY time, the main waitress remembers I'm a vegan and like lots of veggies and lots of heat! read more

I order food from Thai Garden on a regular basis because their food is excellent and because I don't get out very often. They are friendly and quite helpful, always happy to take an order, never short tempered or hurried. Others, who I have referred to this restaurant, have been quite satisfied.
