Came for lunch and they have a great meal deal at that time. I am sucker for well prepare Pad Thai and this place delivered. Our server was this sweet older women. She made she we all knew our meal deal options and got our beverages super fast. The inside is a little dated. The exterior is rough. I've been coming to this restaurant for years! I recently moved out of town but I recently came back for a visit and it was just as delicious as I remembered. Staff is always so kind and friendly. We love it here! We had fried wontons, wonton soup, beef fried rice, curry, and mango sticky rice. plUS a Thai tea of course! All so fresh and delicious! I ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp and the Tom Kha with Tofu on Doordash. The Pad Thai was pretty good once I mixed it all up but I feel like it could be a bit more spicy. It didn't taste spicy at all not even mild. The Pad Thai was a bit on the sweeter side which I don't mind but everyone likes it different so it's worth noting. The shrimp were flavorless, I think chicken would probably be a better option here. As for the Tom Kha, it just tasted like warm milk with vegetables in it. It was not terrible but lacked spice/flavor, I would not recommend it. read more

Very high 3 point something rounded up to 4. This place is simple and very casual . It's in a rundown building. However,don't be fool this place is fantastic. The servers are very lovely girls. If they are crowded the service will be a bit slow though. I went exploring to see which place has the best Wonton Soup and so far I believe this place is the clear winner. Number 2 on my journey to find the best Thai place in Orlando. I ordered Tofu Pad See-Ew, a side of curry sauce, and a side of rice through UberEats. Not much to say, honestly! The curry was really oily for my taste and rice was definitely a little mushy, but it had a pretty satisfying flavor that went well together. I didn't mind! The noodles were wide and slightly overdone, but not bad or anything. When I opened it up, it had a slightly unfamiliar smell/taste (like too much fish sauce?) but once I got into it, it was pretty good actually. I assume that the sauce (again, pretty oily) kinda sank into the bottom half of the container meaning that the good stuff was all underneath. The veggies especially added some good flavor to it, since the sauce was more of a caramelization than anything. Overall, like 3.5/5. I've had better, but it'll do if I'm in the mood for a craving! read more

Ordered delivery. Was fast and fresh, but wasn't blown away by the food. Drunken noodle was ok. I asked for extra spicy and it was decently spicy, so that was nice. But the rest of the flavor was just ok. Green curry: had literally no eggplant in it, and was quite oily. Spice was decent, but flavor was lacking. Green curry is my favorite and I enjoy the variations of flavors you inevitably get, but this one was very flat to me. Fresh spring rolls: these were fine, but i realized im not a huge fan of this version, which is rice paper stuffed with rice noodles. It's just so much of the same noodle/carb. I love the fresh shrimp and usually enjoy summer rolls / fresh rolls / whichever name they're given. Maybe it's just me that hasn't had them filled with noodles before, or maybe that's a florida thing, but it felt like I was just dipping a giant dense noodle or rice into the peanut sauce. I could barely notice the single shrimp and single basil leaf. They're much better when filled with lettuce and veggies and shrimp. It was nearly 12:40 when I made a quick stop to get lunch from here. Ordered the fresh spring rolls (3.75) and shrimp pad thai (9.95) to go and off I went. My order was made quickly and it was all so delicious! Their spring rolls have the basil, vermicelli noodles and shrimp all tucked into a wrapper and served with the sweet thai sauce made for dunking. The pad thai had perfectly made noodles, the perfect amount of sauce and big pieces of shrimp mixed with egg and crispy crunchy bean sprouts. It was gobbled down and enjoyed completely. read more

When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by very friendly employees. The Pad Thai was amazing

I will say judge this book by the cover. What it appears is what it is. This location is right off of John young parkway. The outside of the building is run down and the inside as well. There was a cushion in a both with a huge rip over a foot long in both directions. Clean but not updated at all. Restroom was the same with visible wood where they did work on plumbing but did not bother to paint over it. I came to try them for lunch around noon on a Thursday afternoon as I felt like some soup. One thing I am not used to is "forced" lunches. Most of the lunch items come in combos to include an appetizer or soup or both, entree, and drink for $12.95. I wanted water but since I had to pay for a drink had ice tea... they don't have Splenda..either sweet and low or sugar another strike. I switched it out for Diet Coke...I ordered the thom kha coconut milk spicy as I was scared to order very spicy as I read the reviews here. It was barely spicy for me disappointed. Soup was okay. Not as flavorful as I expected, less vegetables in it than ever, and a little more watery. 2 stars.... Next came lunch red curry...I agree with a few reviews way smaller portion than I have ever had and curry seems watery. ... well my most disappointing red curry ever...not horrible but way below par...usually full of flavor but all I taste is heat which I do like the heat on this but where are the flavors? Also lots of bamboo shoots mixed in which makes it look like chicken but it's not. Chicken was chewier than normal so I didn't finish it. No one came over and asked how my meal was. What was interesting is the guy who waited on me checked on how meal was with gentleman table right behind me but not I. Service...mediocre...decent but not clearly equal... thus I demoted to two stars and that is being generous. Summary: Ambiance* Food** Service ** Value * Overall 2 stars and I won't return. My wife and I love this place for Thai food. It's a regular outing for us when we're in the mood for good food. I'm not a curry person, so I try all the other dishes on the menu, and they've all been excellent. Drunken noodles, chicken with vegetables (sorry I don't know the Thai names for them), spicy beef... This year I tried the Thai wonton soup for the first time and LOVED it. Not the same as Chinese wonton, but amazing. It's darker in color and more savory in flavor. Give it a try. The interior is not the best, but I don't think those of us looking for great Thai food care much about that. Some quick info: They do to-go orders. They're not usually busy. This small restaurant has been cranking out good Thai food forever. (OK, for as long in my 17 years living in Orlando, that I can remember.) Is it the best Thai? No. But it's tasty, reliable Thai. I like my food zippy (spicy) and this restaurant doesn't fail to deliver. Curries are flavorful and I enjoy the Pad Thai here, spicy. The portion of Pad Thai is huge-mongous, enough for 2 people or another meal for a solo diner. Take out has always been warm when I arrive back to the office or home. Authentic Thai food...and...it is wonderful! This trip I shared three dishes with friends. We had a medium hot (recommended by the Server...and she was right) preparation of each. We started with the soup PoTak. It was full of ingredients, the broth was amazing. As there were three of us, they put in three of each seafood...shrimp, scallop, mussel. Each slurp of soup was amazing and the taste was delightful to savor. Our next dish was Yum...a Thai Salad. We had sliced pork added. The combination of lettuce, pork, and veggies with the sauce was delicious. Each bite had complex flavors bursting in my mouth which the spice enhanced. Our last dish to share was Pad Phet with a whole white fish. Well, it was so good we left only bones. Oh My...I could not suggest a way to improve this dish and would order it again. If I had any suggestions for improvement to this restaurant I would suggest a freshening of the decor. It looks a little tired. But, the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. All three of us like hot food, but our server correctly suggested a medium hot. We all appreciated this once we began our meal. I plan to return when I next visit Orlando. read more

We just moved to the area and was looking for a thai place to grab takeout. The reviews were not great but it is close so we decided to give it a try. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. Once we got home and dug in we were very satisfied. I ordered the chicken fried rice spicy and my husband had the pad se ew. We have had thai food pretty much at every restaurant in Orlando and this was definitely one of the better ones. The food was hot and tasty. Mine was spicy just like I asked for. It was a big enough portion that I had leftovers. My husband said his meal was equally delicious. He ordered a couple appetizers too which he enjoyed. The Stir fried beef was very flavorful too with the jasmine rice! It was a lot of food and I had half of my Pad Thai to go.
