A big WOW!! Was in the area, hungry, and felt like Thai....stopping here was the best decision. They only had like 6 minutes for the kitchen to remain open and were closing in 20 minutes. Needless to say we instantly ordered and to our surprise food started arriving within 10 minutes and was fresh and piping hot. They were very interested in making sure we got everything we wanted before the kitchen closed. Best Thai Basil Fried Rice I have ever consumed!!...and I've eaten Thai in several states. It was perfectly seasoned and hit all the savory spots in the mouth and was absolutely not salty or spicy. My companions added their own spice but I was happy!! The gyoza was steamed and stuffed full of filling. The egg rolls were a nice surprise and filled to the brim with chicken and pork ahhhhhhh so tasty. Companions loved their drunken noodles and curry. It was immediately decided this would become our new Thai spot and we would gladly drive the 40 minutes to enjoy! Average price and well worth it with excellent service. No food was ordered or eaten... Took forever to be acknowledged. Staff was busy, but it's a small restaurant with only 6 tables. 2 looked liked they ordered already and 3 were getting ready to leave. After being seated it took a while before water was given to us. Menus were given to "to go customers" before they were given to us. Then the order for "to go's" were taken before they any server looked in our direction again. All in all, it was over 20 minutes in the restaurant before we walked out. Best Thai place in the Davenport area. We have been many times and will continue to come. I always get the chicken pad Thai and my boyfriend loves the Bangkok chicken (I do too but I am a pad Thai junky and I can't bring myself to order anything else). It is small and can be busy, but that shows they are good. Due to all of the vacation rentals nearby their to go business is hopping so even if the restaurant isn't packed, they are still busy. If you are looking for drive through speed stick to fast food with drive through windows. If you have time to sit and relax you will be happy with the quality, portion size and price. I was in town for a flag football tournament and my teammates and I had a taste for Thai food and saw there was one close to our Airbnb. When j tell you this is literally one of the best Thai spots I've had, please believe me. We ordered online and it said a 30 min wait but we got there before that and it was already ready. What a wonderful find! When my friend comes to visit her family in Claremont from New York we would meet up hale way. This was the spot to try. What a great find. When you walk in it so clean. I love the modern decor. The staff were so nice. My friend and I had a lovely meal. The food was so good. My friend was telling that she was glad that we were sharing this meal because she would had eaten the entire thing. We cleaned our plate. Also they ask us how spicy we wanted the meal. My first time at Thailicious and it was DELICIOUS! This restaurant is tiny and intimate. 6 booths and a 6 seater table in the middle, that's it. Truly a local family restaurant feel. Our service was great throughout, offering recommendations, periodic check ins, and refills. We started with the vegetable spring rolls. They were fresh, seasoned and came with a great sauce. For entrees, I chose a special. My Panang Curry Lamb Shank was absolutely incredible! It was vibrant and flavorful. The lamb was tender and mixed well with my medium spiced curry. My wife's Thai fried rice was seasoned well and refreshingly light for a dish that can sometimes be on the greasy side elsewhere. We also split a mild Pad Thai just to try and box up for lunch the next day. This was our least favorite part of the meal, but still tasty. We both think ordering medium heat could've improved our impressions of the dish. When the check came, we had plenty of leftovers and were pleasantly surprised by the bill under $65 for 3 entrees, a soda and and appetizer. We will absolutely be back! read more

When you walk in, there aren't a ton of tables, so be cautious of that during peak dinner hours - that being said, I loved the intimate feel of the restaurant, and the booths were a great size. Since this was our first time, we ordered a Chicken Pad Thai to try/bring home as leftovers to really get a feel for the menu. My husband ordered an off-menu advertised special of Panang Curry with Lamb Shank as the protein - the curry was INCREDIBLE. By far my favorite thing there. I'll be ordering a curry next time! The Veggie Spring Rolls were perfectly wrapped, not too flaky, had a great crunch, and the sauce with them had a great tang. The Thai Fried Rice was light and beautifully seasoned/aromatic. The chicken at most Thai places I've been to ends up dry, but here it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The pad thai was good, but I definitely sabotaged it myself - it was ordered mild since I wasn't sure of the spice level of this restaurant yet, but if you're like me and prefer a *little* kick, I highly recommend ordering this at a medium heat. Where do I start with Thailicious and it's absolute well deserved splendid review? Thailicious is a fantastic restaurant that is criminally underrated. It's both a blessing and curse. This is one my favorite Thai spots of all time. The food is always delicious, fresh, and perfectly crafted. It's one of those spots that if it was in the heart of Orlando, would constantly be packed. They serve fresh food at lightning speeds. I've been coming to this restaurant for over a year now. You cannot go wrong with anything here. The chicken basil rolls? the summer roll? Crab Rangoon? Drunken Noodles? Pad See Ew? Pad Thai? Any of their Fried Rices? Tom Yom Soup? Bangkok Chicken? all are DELICIOUS!!! I am so happy that they are so delicious and so quick here. I've mostly done take out but even coming into the quaint small restaurant is still just as fast. They are welcoming and accommodating to anything. You want Thai Tea? As a Thai Tea fanatic, I can confirm that they are really good. They do have gluten free options as well for anyone look plus loads of vegetarian options. The only downside is like at any restaurant is that the food can add up to a pricey bill if you are not careful. But overall, it's a decent price for appetizers and entrees. Just don't go overboard with the appetizers like I do sometimes! This is one of those places I rank has completely worth the drive. If Michelin Guides came to Davenport, this place would have been on that list a long time ago. It's that good. I would say if you are craving good Thai food that's also fresh, delicious, affordable, and quick service. This is your restaurant! We ended up here on a whim. Been there a few years ago for lunch. I believe it changed hands since and for the better. I ordered tom ka soup and Massaman shrimp curry. My wife ordered summer rolls and sweet chili calamari. I was instantly hooked after I took one sip of their tom ka. Gave a taste to my wife and she ordered one too. That soup was out of this world! Then, my masaman curry with shrimp. It was delicious. I think I got 8 pieces of shrimp! Even with a temporary crown on #31 and chewing on the left side only I loved the main course. The place is a small family owned joint. Being Good Friday, around 7 pm, we go the last table in the place. Soon, the place had people standing by the door inside the restaurant for us to get done eating. I was going to move on to the next Thai place listed on my results but a recent review caught my eye and said that they were from NYC and they eat Thai food often and this restaurant blew them away. We have been here around ten times and the food is generally good but inconsistent. Unfortunately, during our last visit, they served pieces of Italian eggplant instead of Thai /Chinese eggplant (the Chinese variety is long and narrow and has a thin skin that is a lighter purple). I would much rather them have told us that they are out of Chinese eggplant so we could decide not to order the dish. The Italian variety has a very different texture and was woodier and didn't absorb the sauce and flavors as well. I also ordered the drunken noodle and paid extra for additional vegetables- this dish was excellent this time - great chew to the noodles and cooked well (one way to judge this dish is by how broken up the noodles are- these were mainly in tact and had a great texture). I would also order the pad Thai from here but would steer clear of the eggplant dish given its inconsistency and poor value for the price. It is also a smaller restaurant so they may run out of tables during busy times. Still glad it's in the area and the service is good, but if I'm feeling up for more of a journey, there are a lot of other good Thai places that are more consistent. read more

The staff is very friendly, they have made great improvements on the interior which formally was cluttered and outdated.
