This is a different take on Thai than I am used to. The food is delicious but I reserved a star because the menu is limited and not very descriptive for some items. While I loved my paneng curry, chicken satay, lettuce rolls, and my boyfriend loved his beef and broccoli, my mother's lemongrass chicken was very spicy (although we requested mild) and the chicken was so thin and crispy it tasted dried out. I will definitely try them again though. read more

Although I definitely miss the old Thai place that was here before this one, this restaurant is one of my favorites in the Brandon area. The food is amazing (and the portions are HUGE). My absolute favorite dish is the pineapple rice! I recommend trying it with tofu! read more

We have eaten here almost every week since this restaurant opened. Food is delicious, fresh, and tasty. Customer service is always great. Waitresses are welcoming, warm, and informative about the menu. I'm only giving 3 starts because my food was not the same this time. I asked for medium spicy shrimp eggplant lover. Food was plain, salty, and no spices at all. Also vegetables were saggy. I ended with a mix of shrimp and chicken on my plate. I guess I really missed Chef Kob culinary experience. We walked in expecting the previous restaurant and immediately knew there had been a change. The atmosphere was different -- nice for a local date night. Very welcoming. The food was excellent--looked like fresh ingredients and very tasty. The staff was also friendly. I recommend you give this new local restaurant a try. read more

Came into this restaurant this evening and the service was super slow. The dishes served lacks and resemblance of true thai food rather it was overcooked dishes soaked in sauces that were high in sodium and had less depth than a jar of peanut sauce from the market next door. Unfortunately the services seemed uncoordinates and needed to have a better system to meet the needs of the customer. While I do have a higher standard for thai food my drunken noodles came out with the wrong type of noodle and undercooked. My first bite I pulled out a piece of raw noodle, my 5 bite again i had raw noodle. By the third time I decided enough was enough. The smell of the food was slightly moldy from the noodles and the beef dish hardly had any beef in it. Needlessly to say I will not be returning here and would not recommend it to anyone. When I sent the food back with a small plate of the raw noodles the chef argued that the dish was fully cooked. While I was offered a different dish I decided that I was not worth it. read more

Thanks to Yelp we gave it a try. Everything was delicious. The spring rolls and crab Rangoon were great starters. My sister and I had the spicy fried rice and the pineapple fried rice. Huge portions!! You can choose your spice level (be conservative because the lean to the hotter side). The chef Kob came out and gave us a special sweet treat - a delicious Thai desert. By far the best Thai food in the area and I'm hard to please when it comes to my Thai! The fresh spring rolls are sooo yummy and fresh. Always get the Drunken noodles and always delicious. Came here today for the first time, I never tried Thai food before, this place was amazing, I had the egg rolls and the sauce was AMAZING!! the egg rolls were even better. I'm not sure what rice bowl I had but it was amazing, the chicken was perfect. I will come here again and again and again, couldn't help myself but to eat everything. Excellent restaurant that knows how to make guests feel at home. Chef Kob is hospitable and the ambiance he creates with the soft music and great food spirits you away on a great flavorful experience. The Lemongrass chicken was awesome, as well as the spicy rice with basil. We also decided to taste the red curry with chicken, and we were not disappointed. Finally, Chef Kob introduced us to a sweet sticky rice dessert that convinced me easily to order more for the road. All of the elements in this cozy restaurant urges you to come back for more. What more can I say? We just moved to Riverview, which is nearby, and we have located a place to revisit often. read more

Great experience tonight. Decided to give the new Thai restaurant a chance, and it did not disappoint. I had the Fresh Ginger stir fry with vegetables, which was so full of flavor. I literally wanted to lick the plate when I was done. They also get the spice just right, based on what you request. My hubby had the Pad Thai, which he really enjoyed. Ordered from them for the first time tonight. The order was ready when they said it would be and we loved everything we ordered. Green curry chicken, chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice and spring rolls. Positions were huge, lots of leftovers. Found this gem of a restaurant today! The restaurant is small and quaint. The food was fantastic. My husband had the Garlic and Pepper Thai hot. He really enjoyed the taste and heat with his entree. I had the Fresh Ginger with no spiciness. The taste was delicate and not overpowering with too much ginger. I especially enjoyed the different vegetables included.
