Hard pass on the Pad Thai (mild with fried tofu and veggies), it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It truly reminded me of a frozen dish. Other Pad Thai's I've had were really good. The spicy chicken fried rice was enjoyed by my husband and we both liked the Curry Puffs. We ordered takeout and the process was fairly simple if you have an Uber Eats account. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but the host seemed ok. The restaurant itself was a simple setup but not the coziest of places. I have no intention of returning. read more

I had such a great time here with my family. Our server was so friendly and easygoing. We all shared apps which came out fast and were fresh and tasty. I had the pineapple curry which was so good that I ate every single grain of rice. We took a mango sticky rice home and it was so tasty it barely made it inside the house. I would recommend trying the lemongrass tea, which our server said they made from lemongrass they grew which I thought made the experience that much more special. read more

Food tastes good. Portion sizes are small. Doesn't really look like the picture. There's barely any red peppers in it and the chicken tastes old. I guess in this economy, you have to save every penny. The potstickers were really good. read more

We ordered via Uber eats. Two tom kha gai, a panang curry and a green curry. All hot. One curry with brown rice (3 dollars extra!). The soup - too sweet, one piece of dry chicken in each. The curries - way too thin. Same consistency as the soup. Also sweet. Very little meat, meat thin and dry. And the amount of brown rice for my 3 bucks extra was under a cup. Ordered from here before and was unhappy but decided to give one more chance. Won't do it again. read more

I was thrilled with the food from Lemon Grass. I am a Pad Thai lover and I was really pleased that their pad Thai was much better than average. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the peanut sauce was an excellent consistency and the overall flavor was delicious. Their potion size is pretty generous too. My fiancé enjoys red curry chicken, when we order form Thai restaurants. I've never tried red curry, but I subsequently tried his and it was amazing. The coconut in the curry is so tasty. The dish is rich, but not overpowering. The hint of sweetness is really stands out, in a good way! We shared the jump Thai chili wings, which were really good. My only complaint is I felt they could have been cooked a little longer and that we received more Thai chili sauce with the order, because one wasn't enough to coat the jumbo wings. When you enter this establishment, it's as if you traveled to Thailand and back. The flavors are exquisite and the customer service is absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, potstickers and crab ragoon, there to die for! Full of flavor and you'll probably keep wanting more. Make sure you chug all that delicious food with some Thai Iced Coffee (completely FABULOUS). Just so you know, the weekdays are days in which you can get food from the buffet, but weekends are only from the menu. Overpriced food, dry Pad Thai, not enough sauce in the Panang Curry. Paid $35 for pad thai, panang curry and the veggie egg rolls and I felt it was I paid too much. Panang curry was good tasting, but there just not a lot of curry sauce compared to the amount you get at most other places. They did put a lot of veggies to try to fill up the take-out container. The Pad Thai was very disappointing, this is the one basic thai dish that any decent thai restaurant should be able to make right. Here this dish was too dry, not enough Pad thai sauce. I wonder if the cook thinks people don't like sauce in their dishes?! No indoor dining yet, they have some outdoor seating available adjacent to their side of the building. read more

We've been ordering from Lemon Grass since we moved to the Tampa area years ago. It's consistent and fresh whether we order takeout or have the meal delivered. The Massaman curry, chicken satay, and spring rolls are a few of our favorites. But, it'd be nice to have a dine-in option rather than just takeout. read more

Honestly disappointed to write this review but...they are definitely not up to par anymore. I used to come here a lot a few years back and it was delicious. What I ordered today was not. I know times are tough right now with the pandemic, but still want to be truthful with my review! Red curry with chicken- nothing "wow" about it, and I wish they asked me what spice level I wanted. This is sad cause Red curry is always my go-to at any Thai restaurant I check out. There was a lot more bamboo slices than anything else and the curry was super liquid compared to what I'm used to. Will say it tasted a lot better the next day after heating it up again though. Pad Thai- had too strong of a fish sauce taste which we didn't like seeing how we got beef as our protein and it was pretty dry. Was hoping for more of spice and peanut flavor..but the quantity was large! Just wish it the flavor was there. crab Rangoons- the only thing we thoroughly enjoyed!! The cream cheese inside was yellow from turmeric and had some spice flavors compared to your typical crab rang which I felt was really unique and delicious! They were boarded up with plywood and plastic shield coverings which made me feel safe and protected, seems like they only have 1 woman up front and possible 1 chef in the back during these times. Return? Not right now. Personally I'd wait till Covid-19 is over so they can go back to their normal staff and their normal ways with dishes I once enjoyed....or try more apps as those have stayed true still. read more

Uber eats order- I ordered the Pad Thai, sadly, the lack of flavor leaves you wanting more. I was really craving it and this did not hit the spot. For my kids (wanting a stress free dinner), I ordered them the pineapple fried rice MILD, it was anything but. My kids refused to eat it because it was spicy. I tried it and it was in fact spicy but way better than the Pad Thai. I asked for the toppings on the side and they completely forgot them. Overall, very disappointing for $61 dollars. read more

The pad Thai here is one of my favorites I've ever had- the sauce isn't heavy on the peanut flavor however it is still tasty and the medium spicy was just perfect! Very generous portions here. I would also recommend the pumpkin curry- they don't skimp on the coconut flavor and I would order that dish again and again! read more

I've been unsure on how to write reviews given today's COVID19 restaurant climate. That and the fact that I've been cooking now more than ever, I was rusty. Lemon Grass was just what I needed to give me that oomph to review. We ordered take out from here on Wednesday. Originally I was craving Chinese food but after calling three places and not finding anything open, the sign "WE'RE OPEN" sign from Lemongrass beckoned me over. I'm so glad it did. One order of curry puffs, one pumpkin curry and one extra hot green curry later, we were safe at home, bellies full, extra content. The curry here is pretty tasty. It's not super duper authentic, but man it's good. The portions were huge given the $12 price and my pumpkin curry was one of the best I've had recently. It was smoky, slightly sweet, loaded with tons of potatoes and red peppers. The green curry was extra spicy, smooth, and the chicken and shrimp we ordered with it was cooked perfectly. The curry puffs were delicious as well and held up beautifully during the drive home which can be rare for a fried dough. Ordering was a breeze. I called ahead and when I came in to pay, the clerk was nice enough to offer to call me back when the food was ready. He called me back in 10 mins later with everything packaged and ready to go. I also liked that there was minimal packaging since we've been throwing out all plastic bags, napkins, etc and wiping down the boxes. Overall I will totally order for here again! I've been passing Lemon Grass for the last two years and have always wanted to stop in but never got the chance. Today I decided to order it through UberEats. I ordered the Pineapple Curry with beef Hot, Shrimp Tom Yum Hot, Mango Sticky Rice, and a Thai tea. Pretty much all of it was really lackluster. I ordered Hot instead of Thai Hot because I'm currently pregnant and can't handle my normal level of preferred spice, but I honestly had to add Sriracha to my curry because it was so benign. Which, in my opinion adding Sriracha to Thai food is blasphemous, but the curry honestly had such little flavor I couldn't even stand to eat it. The Tom Yum was ok. It was overwhelming with fish sauce (which I typically enjoy, but it overpowered the flavor of the Tom Yum.) The Thai tea was also not very strong of the tea and flavor. It was mostly just the sweetener. The Mango sticky rice was pretty standard (hard to mess up) but the rice was green which I've never seen before, so it just threw me for a loop. Overall, if you're the typical American that can't handle any spice even if it's just flavor not heat, then this is the spot for you. I'm new to the area and I'm so happy I've found a Thai restaurant that is close by! My husband and I shared an order of Crab Rangoon, Chicken Pad Thai, and Thai Donuts. The Crab Rangoon is different from what I'm used to since it had a hint of curry, but it was good nonetheless. Chicken Pad Thai was perfect and the Thai Donuts, DELICIOUS. Also, service was great! Okay. Yes the wait is a bit long HOWEVER this is not a fast food place. The atmosphere is walkway super relaxing and makes me sleepy, idk if that's good or bad for you but for me it's awesome. Always quite and her busy and the food is AMAZING. Never had an issue here. The waiter (never can get his name I'm bad with names) is a taller gentleman younger maybe mid-high 20s always driving my wife and I with pure awesomeness. He well aware of our drinks reaching below A 1/4 full which in my opinion is a great thing. Highly recommend. read more

I ordered Lemon Grass takeout. Normally I'm a little cautious to order Thai takeout because my history with it has been pretty awful. Normally my Pad Thai is dry and sauceless by the time it gets home. Not the case with Lemon Grass! The Chicken Pad Thai tasted as fresh as if I was in the restaurant for dinner and it was priced reasonably as well at around $10 if I remember correctly. Anyway, what has really caught my eye with this place is that they have a lunch buffet for under $10. Thai lunch buffet within minutes of my house!? You know I'm going back. The lady at the register was friendly as well. It's good to have a Thai restaurant closer to home (although I do still love Ploy Thai and Jasmine Thai). Tried this quaint Thai restaurant that has a lunch buffet for 8.95. Came for dinner as I was hungry for Thai food. I chose the Tom Kha soup with shrimp. It had the delicious blend of flavors and just the right spiciness. I sipped, slurped and ate the soup that was full of veggies and shrimp! Yummy! I ordered the chicken with peanut sauce as I wanted to try a new dish . The chicken was on a bed of steamed vegetables. I guess, I like food all cooked together with the vegetables and meat mixed in a sauce. This dish had water from the steamed veggies mixing with peanut sauce, and making the sauce all runny. It didn't look all that good but it tasted great! This was a sit wherever you want type of place, clean and with soft music in the background. The servers were friendly. My husband and I decided to try out this Thai restaurant that just opened up down the street from us. We normally prefer another place called Jasmine tired but decided to try something new just to see. Food: I ordered the fried rice and my husband ordered the pad Thai. Compared your other favorite restaurant we weren't too impressed with the food. It was of ethnic descent but didn't feel very authentic. Also the prices typically range $10 and under for Thai entrée of fried rice or noodles and these were over that price. Service: The waitress and the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and very pleasant. We do have a favorite Thai place in the local area so not sure if we would come back here but if you are nearby and do you want Thai food it is a place that you could go. read more

I was pleased to stumble upon the Lemon Grass Thai Kitchen. I was so hungry and was seriously about to resort to foraging for nuts and berries and then I saw the sign for a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and had a very friendly girl who was working the floor. I ordered a beer and the Masama Curry with chicken. It was great and a very large portion. The prices were reasonable and it looks as though they have a lunch buffet for the Thai lover on the go. They also provide a complimentary Thai soup with rice and a mini spring roll before your meal. I love the food at Lemon Grass, but it's so far from where I live. I've had delivery from the Riverview location once, but because the delivery driver from Uber Eats had a delivery before me, so it just wasn't the same. I've been to Tampa and Riverview locations. I crave Thai food ALL the time. Definitely would recommend to anybody near any location. read more

Ordered online and it was just okay. We ordered the crab rangoons, red curry, and the pad Thai. The best part were the rangoons - super creamy and had a lot of filling which was nice! The red curry and pad Thai were bland and had little flavor. Both had little sauce but even the sauce was bland. I really wanted to like it but it just tasted like nothing. I love the one on Kennedy... it's always delicious. The Food at the Bloomingdale location jus is not as good! I've tried several times when I didn't want to go all the way to the Kennedy location. One thing that is good is mango with sticky rice. read more
