The staff member that took our order was not very helpful and gave us misleading information about a question we asked to when ordering. The food was OK as well. The food here is awesome. Service is great. Haven't found a dish we don't like. They get the food right every time I order. Singapore Mei Fun, Shrimp and Garlic Sauce, Wings, and House Special Lo Mien are the family favs. I am from the Chgo area and fried rice normally is with egg and bean sprout. The south thing with peas and carrots has taken time to get used too and we still haven't, however, their fried rice has a good flavor and I would recommend it just have to pay for eggs if you want it and no bean sprouts. We decided to do take out here last minute and it was easy to order and not too busy on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was kind of hard to understand the cashier when they spoke but I eventually made it out when they asked if I wanted eggroll or soda. Bourbon Chicken: 2/5, we were able to make it spicy but it wasn't as flavorful even though it smelled very good. Beef Pepper Steak: 4/5, it was delish. Vegetable Lomein: 5/5, probably the best lomein I've ever had. The pork fried rice that comes with it is very plain, bland and no flavor whatsoever. I struggled with how many stars to give them because the shrimp fried rice was just okay but the wonton soup was terrible. It lacked flavor and I'm not sure what they stuffed the wontons with, I'll call it mystery meat because I've never tasted anything like it. The soup was so bad I threw it in the trash. Obsessed. I think about this place ALL THE TIME. I work close by and ordered one day after being tired of fast food which are plenty in the area. I'm so glad I did! It has become my favorite place to go to for lunch. Always quick and easy to order and delicious! The guy at the front is always friendly and helpful. The best Chinese food hands down. I come to this side of town often for meetings and I can just tell their food are fresh and have a huge amount of flavor. I love the fact that their specials are amounts that I can afford...lol just kidding. Their prices are amazing though, hey but who's complaining. Ordered the Chicken w/ Mixed Vegetables Combination Platter for Take Out, the chicken seemed over-cooked & rubbery, and there's a weird taste to the vegetables, especially the corn which tasted kinda rotten/sour. The rice was OK but could be better... Called the restaurant back to inform them about the above, (sounded like the same guy working the counter), who's explanation had something to do with things being "frozen", and he also complained about his "suppliers". I mentioned that "the chicken is hard & rubbery", and he "should seriously check the vegetables, and NOT serve *that* corn, just throw it away", which after some exchange seemed futile, so that was that... lol In my opinion, as well as experience, this place seems overly concerned about internal costs, instead of Food Quality, Good Attitude, and Customer Service, the latter of which seems to be severely lacking. I absolutely love this place for so many reasons. Most conveniently, it is located within a minute of my workplace. Second, I am from New York and I love flavorful Chinese food. Third, when they say it will be ready in 10 minutes...it really is!! I have ordered from here several times and not once has my order been wrong. Most recently, I made a very large order for my employees on the lunch special menu and still was told 10 minutes to complete. Sure enough, my order was waiting for me faster than I could even order Publix sandwiches next door! Amazing service, very clean place and extremely fast orders. The food is delicious and they are generous in offering sauces and cutlery. Lunch specials are notably amazing for $6.15...the amount of food will feed you for at least 2 meals. Highly recommended. Have been to this location many times over the years; typical Chinese fast food. Decent but nothing special. I've had a few issues with fried rice being not hot and the last time I was there I ordered the wings and pork fried rice. I requested the rice be put in a separate container (paper box) to go, but wanted to eat the wings and egg rolls there for lunch. The young man at the counter said no, it only comes with one container. Very sour attitude and unwilling to make exceptions for a regular customer. I told them that I didn't want the rice then and would eat my wings there. Good for them, they saved 0.03 cents on a paper box. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future. read more

The service was friendly enough. We ordered a medium bourbon chicken, a Mongolian beef, two chicken fried rice orders for the kids, and one order of spring rolls. The chicken fried rice was yellow prepackaged rice with big strips of probably frozen before chicken. I have never seen that before. The kids ate it and they were fine. They'll eat anything. The bourbon chicken was my boyfriend's. It was okay. I had a bite. The place at the mall has much better burbon chicken, for way less. The spring rolls were absolutely the most horrible ones I've ever had in my life. Maybe like the cabbage was going bad, and slimey. I threw those babies away! The Mongolian beef was super sweet instead of spicy. I love a bit of heat. Sweet Mongolian beef isn't good. I'm really cranky about it. The value. So quantity was there, but quality wasn't.
